I've used what3words since the start. It has more than served its purpose. Fun with treasure hunts with my grandkids, locating friends in places, our walking groips use it constantly.
I cannot recommend it enough. Thankfully I've never had to use it in a critical situation. However I know it's there.

I feel the excellent What3words PR team is doing a disservice to the general public by pushing what3words as an aide to emergency services. Both apple and Android phones have a builtin system to make it exremely easy to send you lat/long to emergency services. Users should be encouraged to set up this system.
In addition, all messageing apps on both Apple and Android make is VERY easy to send your current location (lat/long coordinates) to anyone. It just takes about 2 clicks. I feel this is much better than encouraging people to downlaod the w3w app.

I have just started exploring w3w and shared with many friends. It seems to have great potential in providing more accurate directions to people needing to go to various destinations.

Great for meeting up with friends for dog walks. Country lanes aren't always named and it's hard to describe one muddy meeting point from another. What3words pinpoints the exact location, making our starting point much easier to find. It's also reassuring to know that if you need medical assistance while in the middle of nowhere you can alert family or the emergency services to your exact location.

The best location App bar none! I’m not usually a review type but this App is just so so good it’s a must have for everyone. Downloaded it for an elderly relative, showed them how to use it and they understood it instantly and would use it to summon emergency services if they needed to. My complete family now use it and it’s performed so well they love it

I’ve been using What3words for 4 years now and I’m impressed with the accuracy and utility of the app.
We use it for deliveries to our shops and I’m currently building a discovery game for tourists to our town.

Make no mistake, what3words could save your life.
what3words should be pre-installed on every smartphone sold. The ability to identify your location to within a few feet could be the difference between life and death should you ever be unfortunate enough to have an accident or be taken ill in an area you are not familiar with or somewhere with few features with which to identify it.
I am fortunate not to have needed what3words in an emergency situation but I do live in a remote location that Satnav systems really struggle with. Numerous contractors turned up late or not at all saying they couldn't find my house. Nobody has struggled to find me since I started giving my what3words address.

Do yourself a favour right now. Download what3words and spend a couple of minutes familiarising yourself with how to use it before you actually need it. Then take a look at my village:

I use it for my home deliveries and for our village hall. The sooner everyone starts using it, the better. What’s not to like?

Best location app out there. Simple, effective, accurate and the price is right! Just try it, you’ll be impressed.

A little terraced cottage, up a small lane, in a remote hamlet, in rural Cornwall and our kids found us with ease. Takes all of the uncertainty out of the equation when visiting somewhere new.

Ps watching a search and rescue helicopter circling back and forwards to find an injured walker before the ground team ran up to higher ground and started jumping up and down to attract attention, made me think... "they should have used what3words!"

I have been using this app for sometime now and recommending it to friends and family. We use it to meet up all the time for bbq’s on the towpath with other narrowboaters, pub car parks for family catching up with us for a meal, and friends to find where we have moored the boat. I can’t imagine life without it and are pleased to see so many Companies integrating it. It’s a game changer and wish it had been available when I was working as a sales rep, how much time it would have saved and increased call rate.

This app is simpy superb. In my business, I have a number of staff on the road who visit anything from a very rural property to a very large business premises.

Our policy now is that whenever any member of staff visits any property that was slightly difficult to locate, we ALWAYS grab the What3Words reference and enter it onto our customer database so that it helps EVERYBODY else in the company.

We have situations whereby an emergency job can come in overnight and the person visiting that remote property could have previously spent a considerable amount of time driving around the area because the postcode was too generic and mobile phone reception too poor to call the person for location guidance.

This app TOTALLY solves this problem and all of the team in my business love it.

I am so pleased that all of the emergency services around the UK are adopting its use. Yes, you can get Lat/Long readings from Google Maps but 3 simple words is so much easier and superior to an old fashioned bunch of random numbers.

What a great idea. I’ve been using this app all around the world. Always able to get back to hotel, find that gorgeous shop, which was closed. It is invaluable. Don’t know how I manage before, we’ll I do know, got lost a few times.

A simple bit brilliant idea! Easy to use. Practical for everything from parcel and food deliveries, to directing emergency services. This could easily save a life.

This app is excellent if your an out door person, delivery driver.. in trouble in the middle of no where. Can I say more?

Used the W3W system now for several weeks. It's such a brilliant idea.
I use it mostly in conjunction with my Mercedes Benz MBUX system and my mobile phone or voice control. It works seamlessly and quickly. No more sitting on the driveway plugging in imprecise postcodes or fumbling with coordinates in varying complex formats.

Similarly sending and sharing locations is now simple on any platform.

I'm converted and now a big fan of What 3 Words and am looking forward to on going development. I am especially keen to see dark mode mapping introduced on Android W3W apps.

Keep going W3W and don't loose your way.

Great app easy to use. I have added it to my email details when sending any. Great for any emergency when you need to be found ie.on land or at sea. Help if you need it the first hour is the most important for saving life. Please use this app it's your life and we only have one

Fantastic app. We use for great camping locations. Also a great tool for fishing spots. We have also used it for letting friends know where we are at a rugby game. Fun and easy to use.
