Service was good and the food. A little dark, finding it difficult to read the menu.
I had the haloumi fritter which was advertised as fritters which to my understanding means more than one, so 1 fritter and lettuce side was to me a bit expensive at £8.50.

Came here with family from the states plates and food were cold Yorkshire puddings were hard dry .Hardly any veg if any and a few of us had 1 singular piece of a carrot if lucky the beef was chewy won’t be coming again extremely disappointing for such nice venue although the waiter was lovely

Lovely staff, beautiful venue, lovely atmosphere. We celebrated our special occasion with a night at Weston Hall. Afternoon drinks on the terrace complete with bar and mellow music. Evening meal in the restaurant. Could not fault any of the staff. So friendly and good service. Enjoyed every minute. Will be back.

Have visited Weston Hall several times, today met our friends for lunch, we were seated quickly then 10 mins passed nobody took drinks order, we had to go to ask. We were then given menus and order was taken promptly when the food arrived the waitress announced the wrong items she obviously wasn't familiar with the menu. When the main arrived we were 5 mins in before the veg arrived. We ordered more drinks but they didn't arrive so again we had to ask.
Although the food was nice the service was poor. They then have the audacity to add a service charge. I've worked in the food industry and your gross profit is worked out when you do your costings there should not be additional charges added tipping is earned not automatic

Christmas evening meal at Weston Hall. Stafford. Normal enjoy our local nice place to eat. Unfortunately tonight was not so great. The bed of potatoes supporting my Hake was very cool. The sprouts in the vegetable bowl accompanying my husbands meal could have been used to do damage they were so hard & cool.
The bill was wrong!!! Had it have not been for the young waiting staff doing such a good job I would have had the discretionary tip taken off the bill. Will leave a while before revisiting.. such a shame!

We celebrated our son and his wifes wedding on Saturday 21st September. The whole experience was absolutely amazing.
Our rooms,the food, the friendliness and competence of the staff was second to none.
We could not fault anything about our weekend, we stayed for 2 nights, Friday and Saturday.

Afternoon tea £75 for 3. Started badly when I stood with my elderly mom and was just watched eventually a man asked someone to deal with us. He was too busy fawning over a couple. Drinks arrived with cups but the ones already on the table were left, it became a full table. No jam with the scones, had to ask despite having an afternoon tea booked for a week they only had 2 pots so marmalade was brought out🙄 Poorly trained staff, who were not happy in their job. To just set the afternoon off a white wine a spritzer and 2 lime and sodas was over £30. We were charged £11 for soda water!!!! I should of bought a soda stream. Never again
