No different than a trade in value. Don’t buy the lies of being offered more than a trade, I accepted $500 less than the trade value and 1,290 less than the email they sent me stated.
Employee was friendly and nice but not honest about telling us what he looked at compared to what he reported on the computer and went as far as making up damage on the vehicle saying there was a large dent on the roof when there wasn’t, said he only noted it needed two front tires yet reported all 4, claimed there was damaged to two rims yet only showed pictures of one damaged rim and didn’t answer when I asked the location of the second rim, and reported a door was dented that wasn’t.
Update: I received a call from Matthew Remer about my review. We had a good discussion and when I gave him the full details of my experience, took notes and said they would take care of it on a business end and asked if I would change my review. Now I am receiving emails to change my review. If a customer leaving an honest review of their experience is this concerning then maybe you need to evaluate how customers are treated.

To start, the online valuation you received is based on the limited information we receive from our customers. While we do pay the online valuation, it’s based on the car being presented to us in the same condition it was reported online. Our online valuation is not a firm offer to buy your vehicle and is subject to a physical appraisal.
Our records indicate that prior to the appointment, information submitted about the vehicle did not include any damage disclosures. This meant we provided a valuation in line with a vehicle that was in good working order. However, once we were able to see the vehicle in person, we discovered a variety of damage that is outside the realm of normal wear and tear.
During every inspection we take detailed notes, photos, and videos of the process to ensure accuracy and complete transparency. We have safeguards in place to ensure everything is completed properly and no damage is “made up”. During the appraisal of your 2006 Dodge with 276,969 miles our branch manager noted the check engine light illuminated, and when we hooked up an industry standard OBDII reader it returned multiple codes including, Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1), which indicates possible issues with the catalytic converter. Furthermore, the Branch Manager observed multiple rust spots that had chewed through the vehicle’s exterior. The condition of the Dodge overall was very rough. Unfortunately, when we discovered these issues, we had to take them into account when making our firm offer.
As part of our commitment to transparency we always invite our customers to join us during the inspection process so they can see what we see. We value complete transparency, and there is no excuse if we did not properly communicate the damage we discovered. Our Branch Manager should have made sure to point out any concerns and answer any and all questions. We want all our customers to feel comfortable selling and if something wasn’t explained properly, we want to address that.

I owned a 14 year old car. The official dealer of carmaker sent me email and gave a high price, which turned out to be a bait. When I actually went there and asked for a quote, they only offed what is half of the price they mentioned in the email.
I then went to Webuyanycar office in Rockville, Maryland. When doing business with Webuyanycar.com, I felt I’m respected and not being taken advantage of.
Since it took a few weeks for the carmaker’s finance company to send me a lien release letter, during which, just for curiosity, I also went to another used car buying /selling place to ask a quote. They talked about some major mechanical problems, such as engine and transmission, which I know are not true. They just want to talk down the vehicle’s value.
So there’s no question Webuyanycar.com is the place to go to sell my car. During the transaction, Webuyanycar.com caught an error in the letter from the credit company, the local manager, Raymond, helped me to call the financing company and had the error fixed.

Raymond was great. he took his time and assist me, l misplaced my title the paid off one,what I had was the old one with a lien on it, Raymond stayed on the phone way over 30 minutes to solve the issue by doing so he was apologetic towards me for the time that I spent in the office, he was calm and knowledgeable. After (2) disappointing encounters in trying to sell my wife’s car I decided to contact this company as a last resort. I should have called them first!
