Good food good process

Dear god wtf did I just eat??? I have never ever had such a poor meal in my life. Sheffield branch staff pleasant, decently priced alcohol but good grief your food needs a lot of work. Poor presentation, I counted 9 chips beside the smallest burger I’ve ever seen and it tasted like 💩. Seriously change your menu, charge proper prices but serve palatable food. Never ever again my budgie gets fed more than that.

The duty manager today 13th of October at 16:05 at WEMBLEY BRANCH is horrible. She has no manners and speak to customers in a very demeaning way and in my humble opinion should not be interacting with customers. This was not my first observation of her attitude but felt compelled to do so today.

My Grandsons food was awful! He had the cheese and tomato pasta.
I feel it should be taken off the menu. Tasted terrible, plus thick and over cooked. Small plate of slop!
Also ordered the loaded chips
Feel you need to change the cooking oil ASAP!!!
Will use again for drinks but no eating for us!

Weatherspoons Pub in Lewisham is a great place for a inexpensive breakfast. Staff are great and know my order as I walk in.

Called into Poynton weatherspoons , like we always do on a Monday , always comment about staff very efficient and pleasant, ordered food wife always has a steak and I love the new order Korean chicken , on getting my dish noticed no sauce on my food, spoke to a gentleman,who informed me was the manager and was told this dish was a lost maker for weatherspoons…….. so there had cut back on the amount & reduced the sauce asked him to show me where the sauce was on my dish ,he said could see it on my chips , nothing on the chicken or chips so he informed me I could have some sauce if I paid extra for it ,told him forget that , give me a refund on my order , went away came back and said he had made a mistake and give me my order back , didn’t want to cause a argument so drank up, and left with my wife one reason was by the time I got my dish back it was cold , no good will gesture or refund , tried phoning to speak the manager , but unfortunately not picking up , since been to my local weatherspoons, asked about the loss maker Korean chicken , was told the person who told me that was talking c—-p , if it was a loss maker it would be removed from the menu.

Went to Wetherspoons Harrogate for lunch with wife she ordered special fish a chips with soft drink which should have cost six ponds 5 pence on the afternoon offer wen she back to our table staff member had charged her to much £15.40 she then went back to person who she ordered from and he sorry he ordered wrong. And there was nothing he can do. Because it had gone that’s very bad service and spoilt our lunch and we will not be using this weatherspoons ever again

I ordered a small brunch and drink on the wetherspoons app. The drink arrived within 5 minutes but after more than 30 minutes the food had not.
As one of the staff passed i asked for help, showed him the order and he said i will find out what has gone wrong. After a few minutes he came back and informed me that he re-placed the order.
The food arrived within 10 minutes served by another member of staff.
The staff member who dealt with my complaint/enquiry then came over apologised for wait and checked all was well with the food.
This is the first time the app has failed to deliver, i suspect it was human error, however what could have been a very negative experience was saved by the the member of staff who rectified the problem and made me feel like a valued customer.
Sidenote. All other staff were frindly too, well done.

EASTLEIGH - The Wagon Works
Took a friend to Weatherspoons The Wagons Works at Eastleigh on 27-9-24 for a birthday meal . Ordered Steak and Kidney Pudding which when it arrived i was told " sorry we have run out of gravy". I suggested they but some more from Sainsburys behind the pub and was told " cant do that" Had i been told when i ordered i would have tried somthing without gravy.
Sadley it made my meal a bit dry and perhaps i should have refused it, but thought of the waste of food.
How many more meals were ruined by the lack a simple item GRAVY

(Poole) - Ordered American cheeseburger with extra bacon. When meal arrived there was more empty space on the plate than cold food!

We all agreed the beefburgers must of been cook the day before ( over cooked and dry with no.
moisture. Two of us asked for Hot Chocolate drinks, two mugs with a hot chocolate powder pouch were plonked on the bar and the bar person turned and left so we had to ask another customer were the hot water was. Again serve yourself.
Surely the Idea of going out for a meal is that you sit and are served.
NOT IN WEATHERSPOONED.
I believe the staff are still rebelling because Weatherspoon sack all there employee in 2020.

Great fans of a weatherspoons generally but we went to the one in Margate The mechanical elephant ! What an absolute let down......lovely premises but useless lazy bloody staff, went on Sunday 15/09/24, tables were sticky and dirty the menus pretty much the same. Ordered our drinks and food.....the drinks were made up and sat on the bar for 15 minutes while the staff stood by laughing and talking, when we asked what was happening was told oh yeah they are there you can take them.....went to do that then told oh if you drop them then you'll have to buy new ones !!! So left them and again waited a good five minutes for them to bring them over....would of understood if they was busy, worst pub service we have had.

The Sedge Lynn, Chorlton, Manchester

The Capital Asset in Perth is the most un tidiest Weatherspoons pub we’ve ever been in. We went in at lunch time and the tables were covered in empty drink glasses and empty food plates. People were putting the glasses and plates on empty tables as the staff weren’t clearing the tables. We went in later on at night and it was worse with more tables covered with empty drink glasses and food plates. We have never seen any pub as so disorganised as this one with staff not bothering to clear the tables. I know at times there is a shortage of staff but it didn’t look like this was the problem as staff came out with drinks and food and walking past the tables filled with glasses and plates. It just wasn’t one or two tables but upwards to at least 8 tables needing cleared. Needless to say we won’t be going back to this pub.

The Queens Head Tavistock. Ordered panini with chips. The chips were refried maybe twice, panini flattened, over cooked. dry chicken, bbq sauce not the best, service mediocre. I got the impression that lunch had finished and we were a nuisance. Staff could do with proper training.

Staff are amazing I attend a local university so usually go there for lunch and a few pints after uni staff are so helpful and always come and ask u how the food was there was one time my friend ordered pizza and it wasn't all that soon as the staff found out they gave her a full refund even though we all tasted it and was half eaten love there fish and chips and jacket potatoes can go on also there is a lovely lady with blonde hair who helped me and a friend when someone was following us and let us go from the back way even though I live in Handsworth I still go to the Wolverhampton branches for drinks and food as birmingham branches have let me down

A great experience

Went to Elms Pub Leigh on Sea Wetherspoons with family today.
Fish ... where was it? The batter was grossly overcooked., as for the fish, not sure where that was?
Chicken was dodgy and had to be returned?
It tasted tainted and not sure how fresh it was so two family members refused to eat it.
Chips, all of us had chips that appeared to have been reheated, tasteless, not crispy and looked a bit dried out and anaemic.
In two meals, burgers that should have had onions ... but didn't. We were going to ask the lad serving to do something, but by this time had given up, how can they get so many things wrong?
Coffee machine did not work so had to go the other side of the pub to get it.
Toilet was locked so when each one of use needed the toilet had to go and ask staff if we could use the toilet and get a key?.
Mum with baby in pram had no help to get high chair, she had to hold baby, wheel her pram and manage the highchair, then nowhere safely to leave the pushchair without blocking aisles.
Given the name this this company has, I was disgusted at the wait for food given some items were frazzled to a cinder, or tasted a bit Dodgy, very very poor quality, but the staff didn't seem concerned at all!
I will advise all my family & friends to avoid all 'Weatherspoon's' venues like the plague.
I still struggle to believe any company can advertise as they do, then offer such poor service and have a manager who hasn't a clue how to cook / serve food!
Not having seen my family for a long time due to my ill health, I was to be a family treat ... but backfired, a back-street pop up venue could have done better than this!
There was just one issue after another and that 5 star rating was issued by someone that had not dined in this venue! Disgusting indeed!
