They are what they advertise. We came back from Hawaii on a Saturday after only one day of sun then lots of rain. Sunday morning we had a text from them saying it rained enough to come under the policy. Four days later the money was in my paypal account. Not only that, but they were SO nice about it. Will definitely use them again but praying for sun 🌞

Everything about this was easy: the dashboard, the communication, the payout. I will always add WeatherPromise to my vacation rentals in the future!

Everything went smoothly
No issues at all, everything worked as expected.

Simple process, no stress at all
I wasn’t really expecting much when I signed up, but it turned out to be surprisingly smooth. I liked that I didn’t have to constantly check anything or follow complicated steps. Everything just happened in the background, and then I got notified without doing extra work. It felt kind of hands-off in a good way. Would probably use it again if the conditions made sense for the trip.

When we hit the third day of rain per the conditions an E-Mail was sent the following day notifying me a refund is in process.

Purchasing weatherpromise was perfect for our trip to Hawaii! A Kona storm ended up coming through while we were there and although it wasn’t a terrible trip, it did rain enough that weatherpromise reimbursed us as stated in the protection we purchased. Such a blessing!

Tobias did a really great job of making sure I got what I deserved for the weather-promise. This was such a relief given the fact that this trip meant the world to me and was interrupted due to the inconvenience of scattered thunderstorms.

It was very easy to go in each day and see if you had a qualifying day. In the end we did get a partial refund which was great. I would highly recommend

Amazing product. No claim to file, no action on my part to monitor weather, the email just showed up and told me I had a payout. I don’t know if I would exercise this service for every trip, but when the season/geography makes sense - absolutely! My payout was for a Puerto Rico trip near a rainforest so it made sense.

I was nervous at 1st because weather promise is a new company. In fact my friends and I laughed at the concept initially for our Jamaica trip and didn't book. It rained every day. My next trip to the Caribbean a few months later, I said let me try it just in case and I got my payoff. Well worth it. For the price, why not? It adds peace of mind.

Die Messwerte der Versicherung stimmten überhaupt nicht überein mit dem tatsächlichen Wetter. Sie gab mäßigen Regen an, als kein Niederschlag war, und kaum Regen, als es den ganzen tag geregnet hat. Ich habe dann die Hälfte des Betrages ausgezahlt bekommen, als ich darauf aufmerksam gemacht habe. Da habe ich Glück gehabt und bin auch mit der Hälfte zufrieden. Ich bin mir unsicher ob ich die Versicherung noch mal abschließe, auch wenn Weather Promise immer sagt es tut ihnen leid, aber aufgrund von den Messergebnissen....Aber immerhin gab es dann ja noch eine positive Lösung

The service agent was very responsive and once we communicated, the issues were quickly resolved. I appreciate that they checked with me first before canceling my plan due to a miscommunication from VRBO to them. I would have lost my coverage but they checked with me first. Thank you, Tobias!

I requested data on how they determined the payout for our recent vacation in Hawaii. They were very prompt and forthcoming about how they determine rainy days. We had a few conversation over email and came to mutual agreement on a fair payout. It's rare to find this with businesses over the internet. I'd recommend using this service if you are concerned about weather ruining your vacation.

It has to be clarified that you have to go on the trip and get your head wet. In our case 12 inches of snow the day we were leaving doesn’t qualify for reimbursement other than the price of the weather promise. Thankfully , our vrbo host understood and refunded our stay. My next trip I will watch for rain and use weather guard. Oh, and bring an umbrella with me.

Es lief alles akkurat und zuverlässig. Es war leicht zu verstehen und für mich als Anwenderin auch easy nachzuvollziehen.

We hebben een dag regen gehad waarin het minimaal 5 uur achtereen regende en dit is perfect afgehandeld, dus het is het proberen waard! Bedankt Tobias!

Did not have to do anything on my side. The communicated to me that I would be getting a refund and I got it within a week. It was hassle free. That's the way it should be

Wir sind jetzt seit 5 Tagen in der Türkei. Heute ist tatsächlich der erste Tag, an dem wir das Hotel verlassen können! Nur Regen. Die Daten der letzten 2 Tage wurden bisher nicht angezeigt, wir waren uns aber sicher dass wir das Geld erstattet bekommen, 2Tage wurden ja bestätigt ….. jetzt gerade kommen die Informationen von Vorgestern: nur 1 h genug Regen, ansonsten unter 1mm! Lachhaft! Es hat so viel geregnet dass es im Hotel durchgetropft ist. Auf die Daten von gestern bin ich gespannt, da gab es immerhin 2 h Regenpause.
Nie wieder!!! Das Geld kann man sich sparen
