Wonderful experience
Water babies is simply amazing. I started taking my son from 3.5 months old and he has enjoyed every lesson. I can’t swim and I was so nervous to get in with my baby but Steph and Joey always made me and baby feel comfortable. I feel so much more confident in the water with my baby. Love the structure of the sessions. I 100% recommend

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t met expectations.
We understand how frustrating cancellations can be, and we only ever cancel lessons in situations where it is absolutely unavoidable — for example, pool-related issues. We do our best to minimise disruption, and any missed sessions are always added back to your account as credits or catch-up options.
Regarding the facilities, we work closely with the pool to address any issues as quickly as possible, and we are continuously feeding back to ensure improvements are made for our families.
As for the teachers, we aim to provide consistency wherever possible. On the occasions where a different teacher is required, it’s usually due to unavoidable circumstances such as illness or emergencies. All of our cover teachers are fully trained and experienced, but I appreciate that continuity is important and we are reviewing how we can improve this.
If you’re open to it, I’d really welcome the chance to speak with you directly so we can better understand your experience and work towards resolving your concerns.

Wonderful lessons!
My experience with Harrow water babies has always been a pleasant one. I started when my girl was 3 months old and she’s now 25 months old and we’re still going. My daughter has always loved the classes and enjoyed it so much! Our teacher Louise is really good and my daughter always looks forward to seeing her. If you miss a lesson you are offered a catch up lesson, but it may not be at your normal venue. Yes the classes are a little expensive but me and my daughter both enjoy it so much so I continue with it.

Brilliant lessons
I can’t say enough good things about this program. The instructors balance safety with fun, and they explain everything clearly to parents. My baby went from being nervous in the water to giggling through the whole class. It’s been such a joy to watch the progress.

We’ve been taking our 9-month-old to lessons for a few weeks, and we’re so impressed. The instructors are gentle and encouraging, making both parents and babies feel at ease. Our baby smiles and splashes with excitement every time. Highly recommend for building water confidence early!

Value is questionable
I took my 6-month-old baby to Water Babies classes from July until September, and unfortunately, I would not recommend them.
The venue itself is not designed with babies in mind. There are no proper facilities for changing — only one changing table, which means most parents end up changing their babies on benches or even the wet floor. The showers are unpleasant and poorly maintained, and there is no step-free access to the building, which makes things difficult with a stroller.
The classes are well-structured and the staff were friendly, but I struggled with the approach of dipping babies under the water. Most babies in our group cried a lot after each attempt, and sadly, it gave my baby a real fear of water. She would start crying as soon as she saw her bathing suit or even the instructor, which made the whole experience very stressful rather than enjoyable.
I can see how these classes might work for some families, but based on our experience, they were not the right fit for us.

Fun way for babies, young children to learn swimming
My little one loves water so we started taking her to water babies a couple of months ago and I am so glad we did! It’s great fun for both baby and parent! Swimming is such a good life skill and it is a great way to teach young babies and children how to navigate the waters safely. Also special mention for the instructor (Nadia) she is absolutely amazing.
