Water Babies - Gloucestershire & North Wiltshire Omdömen 

My son is nearly 15 months and has been swimming at The Swim Centre since he was 8 weeks old, he absolutely adores his swim teacher Heather and has become so confident in swimming! We are hoping to continue with his swimming lessons for many years yet!

We’ve just finished our lessons after over 3.5 years with Water Babies and have loved it! My daughter has learnt so many skills and her confidence in the water is just amazing! We are due with our second and have decided it’s a non- negotiable that he does swimming lessons with WB!
Over our time we’ve had Kate, Shelley and Esther - and each of them have been amazing! Nurturing, knowledgable and patient and have helped our daughter so much!

We love going swimming! Lessons are fun and interactive and build on previous lesson’s learning. It is useful that you’re able to swap to another venue if you’re unable to make a swimming lesson although I’ve found booking a catch up one difficult as a few are the same day & time as our usual lesson which is a shame.

My son is a non-verbal autistic little boy who loves to swim. We booked an underwater photoshoot and the teachers and photographer were absolutely wonderful. They differentiated the shoot to suit his needs and we were able to get some lovely photos!

I think water babies has been very good for Rodney. He seems to be enjoying it. I am very happy with Heather our instructor as she is very loud and gives clear instructions and everybody is treated equally. I think the sessions are the right amount of time for these babies and they do quite a lot in this time.

Great instruction from within the pool, great explanations for parents when starting new swimming skills, small sized classes for more direct instruction, relaxed atmosphere for baby

Oakley loves water, always has since he was born! We’ve been with Waterbabies for coming up to 4 months I believe and he’s thriving, gets excited when i say the words ‘splish splash splosh’ too (which means swim day) - also a bonus is that it tires him out🤣!

My daughter has been going to water babies for 6 months now and thoroughly enjoys it. She has gained lots of confidence and has improved in her swimming ability greatly. As a family we find a great disappointment that partners are not allowed to attend (even though there is plenty of space for partners to sit on chairs at the side of the pool as this is a big milestone that the partners won’t get to see). There is 1 female and 1 male changing room which all parents have to share with only 1 changing table in each male and female changing rooms. This gets very busy and if you are not 20mins early to your session then you must resort to changing your baby on the floor, which is covered in chlorine and I imagine verrucae also. The swimming instructor Lucy is fantastic!!! She really is talented and we couldn’t ask for more from an instructor and makes the sessions fun and safe, thank you Lucy. Overall my daughter really enjoys the swimming but for £80 per month the facilities and family inclusivity could really improve.

I have done this with all 3 of my children now. One of which was asked to swim competitively. I love how confident they are in the water just from building a foundation at such a young age. From holding on to climbing out the pool Waterbabies teaches fun and safety all in one

I can't thank water babies enough, so patient, he loves his teacher, who is amazing, and adaptions are made where needed so he is always successful! The whole team are helpful, and will try their best to fit an alternative in where they can

They have very professional instructors and good place to start you're little one to swim

I have been taking my grandson to water babies now for over 2 years. It’s something I look forward to every week and it is so magical to watch his confidence in water grow. The admin staff are very friendly and helpful and our swimming teacher Heather is amazing. She genuinely cares that all the children get the maximum from each lesson and that the adults are really well supported too. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
