Great experience so far
My son has been having lessons from Tracy at the village gym in Bracknell. She is incredible. I feel very lucky to have had her for his start to swimming. It's a shame she cannot continue the classes there but very much impressed with how much is crammed into each lesson and how Tracy seems to genuinely care and enjoy the job she does.
There has been cancellations, sometimes at quite short notice but it's usually due to pool issues so cannot be helped.

We Love Tracy!
The beginning of our time was difficult with Water Babies, with my lessons constantly being cancelled, but the customer service support was always there for me and helped as much as they could. Then we moved to Village Hotel with Tracy and she’s incredible! I loved my weekly lessons with my baby and recommend to anyone else. The water confidence alone is well worth it, and love the safety focus. But typical, our lessons just been cancelled as I’m typing this!

We have our lessons at Chapel Row with Suzan. She is lovely with the little babies, super gentle and always checking they’re alright. Her classes are so much fun, and our swimming lessons are the highlight of our week!

Classes are great. Frequently cancelled though
I love the actual classes and the teachers, they are brilliant. However the consistency of the classes is terrible. They are continually cancelled and then our session times are changed frequently as well. It’s frustrating. We stay with them only because they sessions when they happen are brilliant

Great experience
We’ve had such a great experience with Water Babies and would highly recommend it. The classes are fun, well organised and have really helped build my baby’s confidence in the water.
Our instructor has been amazing, she’s so friendly, patient and encouraging, creating such a welcoming atmosphere for both babies and parents. It’s become one of our favourite activities each week and such a lovely bonding experience.

Fun, engaging and important skills
I’ve been attending Water Babies with my 7 month old since January. Both my baby and I thoroughly enjoy the lessons and I can already see how much benefit there is to regular exposure to water at a young age. As well as it being super fun and engaging for the babies!
We are taught my Nina, she is brilliant and always has a smile on her face. Everything is explained well and the lessons are structured and fun, I can see the progress as we move through the weeks. Joining sequences together to build up important skills.
Things like bath time are so easy and relaxing for both me and my baby. I know for a fact that’s been helped by swimming. He is not bothered by water in his face and I can tell him when to expect a rinse - so helpful!!
I look forward to our weekly lesson and I would absolutely recommend Water Babies (and have done) to anyone with little people.

Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate you sharing your experience.
We do have a regular, dedicated teacher for your class wherever possible. However, there are occasional situations where we need to arrange cover due to personal circumstances. When this happens, we can ensure you that all substitute instructors are highly qualified and maintain the same high standards you would expect from us.
In terms of class sizes, we always operate in line with Swim England guidelines to ensure sessions remain safe and effective for everyone. That said, we understand that busier sessions can sometimes feel different, and we value you bringing this to our attention.

Susan was a great teacher and put us at ease when in the pool when we first took Jude and we are only leaving to go swimming somewhere closer to home. Was sad to say bye to swimming lessons as we’ve loved getting him in the water.

BEST swim school ever
Overall it is a fantastic swimming company. They are so easy to contact and are always available to help. The online portal is useful for booking days when you can’t attend. Although it’s a bit pricey it is worth the money. We absolutely adore our swim Teacher , she is enthusiastic and genuinely cares about the babies, parents and swimming. My 5 month old has been going for 2 months and already is starting to remember things she’s learnt. There’s water safety tips which are so reassuring as a parent. Would highly recommend.

We love our swimming lessons! It’s great that there is a clear feeling of progress each week, with new skills being introduced and existing ones solidified. Our instructor is always positive and cheerful and great with the babies. Lessons always start and end promptly. There have been times when the class has been very busy, and on those days it does feel like we cover less, but mostly we have been really happy with the sessions.

Best swimming experience
We’ve been swimming with waterbabies since my son was 6 weeks ago, from bonding swims with his dad from now swimming over 25m on his own with no floats, it’s been an amazing experience for all of us. My son did go through the water wobbles for a month or so but from the support from the teachers and office staff he overcome this. It’s always amazing going on holiday and seeing people’s reactions watching my son swim this is at 4 years old! Thank you all

We’re truly sorry for the frustration this situation caused. Our main priority is always to keep our swimmers safe and to deliver lessons in an environment that meets our high standards. If pool conditions are not fully in line with those standards, we have to make the difficult decision to cancel sessions rather than compromise on safety or quality.
While cancellations are never ideal, they are sometimes necessary to ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved. Since July 2024, this pool has been one of the most reliable venues we operate from, with no cancellations during that period.
We understand how disappointing disruptions can be and we respect your decision to continue elsewhere. We genuinely wish you and your swimmer all the very best moving forward. Love, Water Babies
AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!!
We started Water Babies swimming lessons for our son when he was 4months old, and it has honestly been such an amazing experience. From the very first session with Water Babies, we felt welcomed, supported, and completely at ease.
The classes are so thoughtfully structured, making learning fun while gently building confidence in the water. It’s been incredible to watch our son grow more comfortable each week — from splashing happily to developing real water skills. His confidence has blossomed, and seeing his excitement every lesson is priceless.
A huge part of this positive experience has been our instructor, Suzan. She has been absolutely phenomenal. Her patience, warmth, and enthusiasm make every class enjoyable and reassuring. She takes the time to support each child individually and always encourages them with such positivity. Suzan creates such a calm and happy environment, which makes a world of difference for both babies and parents.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience so far and would highly recommend Water Babies to any parent considering swimming lessons for their little one. It’s been such a special journey already, and we’re so grateful to be part of it.

Instructors are brilliant the pool is just too cold
Emily is absolutely amazing, we feel so comfortable with her and we do the lesson at a steady pace the only thing that could be worked on is the temp of the pool it’s too cold.
