Very happy with the service provided, courteous and friendly, offer was fair and as expected from research I had done, whole process was completed within 5 days from asking for postage label and money was in bank account within an hour of acceptance. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

I had a box of just costume jewellery with some named pieces, I’d sent it to cash cow and was really disappointed with the offer and had it sent back, thought I’d give was gathering dust a try. Wow I’m so glad I did got a really nice offer from a lovely lady called Angela and the money was in my account within the hour. All I can say is 10 out of 10 for ease, friendliness and the offer! I’m already preparing another parcel. Hunting around my flat for all those things I like the look of but will never wear again. Brilliant !

Unless you’re sending gold or diamonds or some ultra rare artefacts which they’ll give you a couple of quid for I really wouldn’t bother ! Put it on a bidding website for a half decent return.

You just couldn't get better service from anyone. Was excellent from the point of contact until the goods were delivered . We had a call saying goods delivered and the value.
The cash was paid into our bank on the same day.

I first contacted Was Gathering Dust on…
I first contacted Was Gathering Dust on whats app with photos to see if my items would be of interest. I received a reply to say we will do our best for you. I sent various items of vintage and costume jewellery which included quite a few unusual brooches. I received a message after a few days to say that their valuers could not make me an offer as all of the items have been well loved and there is little resale value for them.
I have since sent them to another vintage company who have given me an offer that is very fair and said that some of the pieces will be of interest to theatrical companies.
A disappointing experience and a waste of time!

Brilliant company
This was such an easy process to follow.Got my labels in the post with a guid of what to do,collected my items up,put them in the box with my printed name etc (which they sent).Took my box to the post office.
2 days later I got a call with an offer.The offer was a lot higher than expected.I accepted and the money will be in the bank in a couple of days.
I have requested another label as I am sure I have more items to send.
Can't say how easy and straight forward this was.
I would recommend to everyone.
