My experience with Wall Street oasis have been great as it was a great opportunity to learn about the finance industry.

I have been a member of WSO for about a month and half or so. I honestly felt like I had no business getting into the industry. The course was practical providing a great summary of industry insights and what a day to day working with models should be like. The course went into just enough detail on relevant factors (such as opex etc) that is needed to navigate financial models.

The web is great for initial or intermediate level research on any subject. But if you need to know the syntax for a multiply nested variable or other high intermediate or difficult programming problem, it is hard or expensive to get help.
Interestingly, while very deep, this course assumes little or no previous knowledge. As a result, it is very fast paced.
