Wallet Hub will Email You For The Rest of Your Life and You Can't Unsubscribe

Wallet Hub does an OK job providing you with your credit information. However, if you sign up, they will never stop emailing you, ever. You can unsubscribe over and over and over again, and they will say you are only unsubscribed from this kind of email, but not from that kind of email, and not from this third kind, or this fourth kind, or this fifth, sixth, seventh, etc. kind. Then, after you unsubscribe over and over and over again, they will wait a while and re-subscribe you, and proceed to email you every few days.

So if you sign up with them, be aware they are going to send you email the rest of your life, whether you want it or not, and even if you tell them you DON'T want them to do it, and even if you tell them, over and over and over again, that you don't want them to do it. They don't care. They will keep doing it anyway.

Note: Wallet Hub responded below. Note that they admit that unsubscribing only works for "different categories of emails." They don't tell you--but also do not deny--that the number of "different categories" is HUGE, so that they can keep emailing you even when you unsubscribe. They are like the spammers who call your phone every day from a different number so you can't block them so that they can try to sell you something you don't want and don't need for the 896th time in violation of Do Not Call laws. Nor do they deny re-subscribing you, without your consent, after you try to unsubscribe, unsubscribe, unsubscribe, unsubscribe, unsubscribe.

In other words, what I said is true. If you sign up for Wallet Hub, they will send you email the rest of your life, whether you want it or not, and even if you tell them, over and over and over again, that you do NOT want them.

They think they will make more money that way. They don't care about you and your real preferences.

Note: Wallet Hub replied a second time and claimed (now) that they do not re-subscribe you without your consent. That is simply false. I unsubscribed over and over again until the Wallet Hub emails were down to a trickle. But now they are back to almost every day. Maybe they don't technically "resubscribe" you but they create new categories you have to again unsubscribe, unsubscribe, and unsubscribe from. However they weasel around with words, the fact is that if you give them your email, they will, if they can, waste your limited time almost every single day the rest of your life. 1 minute a day deleting Wallet Hub emails is 10,950 minutes in 30 years = 182.5 hours = spending, when added up over 30 years, numbers of days, 24 hours a day, dealing with Wallet Hub. Would you rather go on a nice vacation in a week of your life, or spend 24 hours a day for over a week deleting Wallet Hub emails? But that is what they are going to do to you if you sign up.

Don't sign up. Stay away.

If you unsubscribe using the link in a specific email, it will only stop that particular type of communication. While it’s not possible to unsubscribe from all emails (certain account-related updates and legal notices cannot be turned off as they are required by policy), you can reduce the number of emails you receive by adjusting your notification settings here: https://wallethub.com/home/settings/notifications If you select "Only notifications about the WalletHub account, security, and privacy," those should be the only emails you receive from us. If this option is already selected and you are still receiving emails that do not match your preferences, please contact the WalletHub Help team at help@wallethub.com so they can investigate your account directly. This issue can only be reviewed by the Help team through a direct request.

They make it very difficult to withdraw from the service to the point.It is likely illegal

Hi there! Please keep in mind that WalletHub simply displays your TransUnion credit report. The information shown in your account is automatically retrieved from them, and WalletHub cannot modify anything on your credit report. WalletHub looks for updates on your credit report and credit score on a daily basis, with TransUnion data typically refreshed between 3–6 a.m. ET, including weekends. Although WalletHub checks for new info on your report every day, if a lender does not send TransUnion updates fast enough, it will not immediately show up on your profile. If it has been more than 30 days and updated information is still not visible, it is recommended to contact the relevant lenders to confirm that updates have been sent to the credit bureau. Regarding account closure, deleting an account is as easy as submitting your request via Your Privacy Choices page or emailing help@wallethub.com with your unique ID from your settings page.

I made an account and would like to check out a bank.
#1 I have to use the app and not the browser. Ver inconvenient.
#2 I'm blocked due to a "suspicious IP" I provided a ton of personal details to confirm my identity. It's very annoying to have to contact support after such an effrot.

WalletHub's system is designed to prevent too many login attempts from the same IP address as a security precaution. Please also note that an IP address can’t be identified as belonging to a specific user unless it is provided by that user. That said, please contact the WalletHub Help team at help@wallethub.com with your IP address so they can check why it was blocked.

The experience that I had was great due…

The experience that I had was great due to the vast amounts of credit reporting information available and the experience was also great due to the copious amounts of suggestions to improve credit scores. The company is doing well through providing great and high quality services at free and or affordable prices at this time.
