A fresh perspective on a city I thought I knew
I've visited Bangkok several times, but this experience showed me the city in a completely new way. Being guided by a local photographer meant discovering corners, viewpoints, and moments I would otherwise have missed.

I chose to be photographed rather than shoot myself, and the whole session was relaxed and well organized. The photographer knew exactly where to go and how to make the most of the light and locations. There's also the option to take the photos yourself if you prefer - a nice touch that suits different types of travelers.

The result is a set of genuinely good photos and a new appreciation for the city. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a more personal, local look at Bangkok.

Ian was a joy to have as a guide, we loved seeing and doing things we might not have experienced otherwise.
He helped interpret for us when we needed something specific at the pharmacy, he helped us cross the street in busy places, and we had genuine and meaningful conversations about our two countries.
I would love to come back to Bangkok and see Ian again for another adventure.

Horrible experience. They’re a bunch of con men. Dont know anything about photography or Bangkok culture. They made a fool out of me. Wasted an entire day on them. Photos are horrible. And this is coming from someone who works with editorial photographers. Save your mental peace and money.

I had an incredible experience with Walk-Talk-Photo.com! My instructor, Tem, was a true pro and helped me completely transform the way I approach travel photography. I went from taking standard, boring shots to capturing photos that actually feel interesting and exciting. The class is fun, hands-on, and being guided by Tem through Bangkok really makes a difference. If you want to stop taking 'tourist snapshots' and start taking real photos, I can't recommend this enough!

Whatever you do if your lucky enough to be in Bangkok you need to put this at the top of your list of things to do!

Firstly this is something pretty unique and special, with memories that’ll last you lifetime in pictures. It also means you’ll have amazing pictures together with the person you’re travelling with, all done by professionals who understand what makes pictures look amazing whilst given you insight into parts of the city you’d never normally see.

I found these guys on-line and needed a special private tour as we had a flight to catch! I asked for a 6.30am start, no problem at all they said so we signed up for the experience!

From the offset it was fabulous, Mike and Ian really made it a great day. they’re great guys full of knowledge, and enthusiasm and genuinely make you feel really special.

We went from urban graffiti, to local houses and landscapes, on the river, down alleyways and hidden gems such as the amazing coffee shop and then onto the unbelievable temples. They’re also both real professionals behind the lens and at the editing and understand the complexities of light and colours and where to take amazing shots, which means you’ll leave an amazing city with unbelievable photos that you can keep forever. They see things you don’t and it’s only after the event that you realise the backdrop of what’s going on around you in picture, which makes it such a fab experiance.

So please, if your still thinking about what to do on your travels make time for this, you genuinely won’t regret it! It’s a totally different experience to your standard commercial tours with large groups of people. It’s intimate, special and also absolute brilliant fun.

On a final note, a massive thank you to both Mike and Ian from Clare and I. Our only regret was we didn’t have time to grab a beer at the end of the shoot as we had to get to the airport! Although if and when we’re next in Bangkok, we will definitely get in touch to grab a couple of drinks and catch up!

Was really useful to have a photographer guide around Bangkok. He tailored the experience to my needs and we explored parts of the city I'd not yet seen. His knowledge of Bangkok and stories about the significance of some of the areas was really interesting and helped bring things to life more. He also knew a few of the local tips (like where the cheap canal boat left from and some hidden food gems). Would recommend.

Mike, Ian, and team were able to accommodate my last-minute request. I had a fantastic day with Ian as my guide/photographer. Walk Talk Photo was a great introduction to Bangkok, and I'll cherish the photos Ian took!

Great night photography tour! My request was short notice and off menu, but Mike, Ian, and Tem delivered an excellent experience start to finish. Tem really knows Sony cameras. He taught me new things about my camera and made sure I got what I was looking for on the night shots. For Canon users, Ian is a wizard. All this combined with their willingness to tailor, be flexible, and adjust along the way make for a perfect tour. I plan to join them again on my next trip to town. Highly recommend their new night time offering.
