One of my bookings was confirmed but according to the owner the house was not available. There is a long term tenant in the house currently.

Hopefully my down payment & insurance plan will be cancelled or refunded automatically.

Otherwise I found the booking process excellent.

The person I was connected with on my phone call was excellent. He truly cared and was willing to take all the necessary steps to solve the issue. His professionalism and knowledge makes VRBO looks good in my eyes.

Easy and quick dates were available!

Easy to navigate. Found all my requirements. Quick turnaround time. Timely communication .

⭐ ONE STAR — VRBO: Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service

My experience with VRBO has been nothing short of appalling. A deposit that was explicitly advertised as FULLY REFUNDABLE has not been returned. How can a company expect customers to trust its booking policies when it fails to honor something as basic as a promised refund?

This is not a complicated issue. A refundable deposit means exactly that: THE MONEY IS SUPPOSED TO BE REFUNDED.

VRBO’s handling of this matter demonstrates a shocking disregard for customer trust, accountability, and basic business ethics. Customers should not have to fight to recover money they were clearly entitled to receive.

I strongly caution anyone considering VRBO to think twice before trusting this company with their money. A booking platform is only as trustworthy as its willingness to honor its financial commitments.

Absolutely unacceptable. I will not use VRBO again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

El servicio de atención al cliente para propietarios es, digamos, inexistente. Abres una reclamación y no te responden nunca más. Vuelves a contactar y para nada, siempre te dicen que lo pasaron a otro departamento. Personalmente, dejo de trabajar con ellos.

VRBO makes it easy to find great places to rent. Every VRBO experience I have had has been a good one--nothing odd, wacky, or unreasonable, and I can't say that about other home rental services. The booking process is easy. The prices are reasonable. And the hosts are generally honest and kind.

Vrbo provided great service from beginning to end. It gave an honest look at the property we rented for 3 nights on Prince Edward Island; it reminded us of our booking in a timely manner; it followed up with our experience. We'll definitely use Vrbo in the future.

Great location, everything we need was in the kitchen, beds comfy and host was great to communicate with.

It was a clean and well appointed home. There were a few “glitches” with the door lock and Wifi code. The hosts responded promptly and were very kind. The paint job in the bathroom was done a bit sloppily as paint was splattered on the floor. and a few dishes had chips. I would not hesitate to stay there again .

We had a great trip. The trailer was clean and fresh. With the windows open it was perfect on our weekend but there was also ac for when it got too hot out. The beach was close and the cart that we were given to use was huge and we had alot of fun navigating around the site. The owner was so fast to respond to any questions we may have had. We planned this kinda last minute and the host was very easy to talk to and communication was clear. Absolutely loved our stay and would say that for an older trailer I was expecting more wear and not so bright and welcoming. It is well kept and can see it has been cared for over the years. If your expecting it to be the Ritz then its not for you. Lol but if you want a clean, comfortable stay in a trailor park with a spacious clean trailor and a great host who communicates and cares .... this is your place!
