Ordered a bag then they texted me they didn’t even really have the bag. Tried to force me to pick another. I refused. Reported them.

Das Spotify-Plugin funktioniert 9 von 10 Mal nicht: Authorisierung klappt, aber kein Playback und kein Eintrag in Spotify Connect. Das ist nicht der erste Vorfall – nach fast jedem Update ist das Plugin wieder tot. Ein Neustart hilft nicht, eine komplette Neuinstallation ist jedes Mal fällig.

Die Oberfläche sieht aus wie 2015, reagiert träge und bietet keine vernünftige Fehlerdiagnose. Als Open-Source-Alternative zu Moode oder RuneAudio bleibt Volumio für mich eine Enttäuschung – man bekommt ein halbveraltetes Debian-System mit einer dünnen Web-Schicht und dem Gefühl, dass Support nur bedeutet, auf dem Forum zu posten und zu warten.

Mi sono accostato a Volumio acquistando la prima versione di VolumioPrimo e me ne sono innamorato .. ore di ascolto con una qualità elevatissima .. successivamente sono passato a Volumio Primo V2 e l’entusiasmo è andato alle stelle .. versatilità, qualità e dettaglio incredibili..
In ultimo ho appena implementato la catena acquistando Lineo5 e si nota immediatamente la differenza… il prossimo passo sarà Volumio Preciso e penso che sarà pazzesco e non vedo davvero l’ora. In ultimo devo ringraziare i ragazzi di Volumio per il supporto ricevuto, sempre efficienti e cordiali .. in particolare il Sig. Marco.

I bought a lifetime premium subscription months ago. They still charged me the yearly fee. I can't get a human to reply to me and am going in circles. I have an aggressive brain tumour, a fact I shared with them. I am not cognitively impaired but typing, energy etc are affected and going round in circles here is not funny. Life's too short, and I mean that literally.

I have been somewhat happy with Volumio, even if it was buggy and the UI was much worse than Tidal or Spotify. It is open source though and supports tidal so worked for me. But the recent update disabled support for .cue files which are important if you have copies of your CDs ripped into a single file. There was no warning about this before doing an upgrade.
When I filed a support ticket requesting the function to be restored they accepted the ticket, told me to wait and nearly 3 weeks later simply closed the ticket with a status "Won't do" and no further explanation.
I wasn't expecting much but was still disappointed by the way I was treated.

Volumio (Primo) puts an immature, half-finished product on the market.
When I found this out, I reported the error on Volumio's official website and tried to contact the company in several email messages, without success.
My letters have not been answered and no action has been taken to correct the defective product.
The last time it was possible to negotiate the purchase of a technically more advanced device (RIVO), but Volumio's strategy prevented this.
The product to be returned would have been priced at 400 Euro, with a new price of 799 Euro.
I think that Volumio's attitude is not a European example.

Volumio were quick to answer my questions and their answers were always very useful.

Depending on your usecase the software itself is great. The only reason that I stopped using it is because it doesn't gel with my plex-orientated set-up.

I inadvertently let my annual subscription continue, and upon realising this, cancelled and requested a refund. They were very responsive and understanding.

Audiophile Volumio is just the best for music, it rocks! Simple installation on Raspberry or X86 pc.

Marco's suggestions fixed my USB output issue, now my Rivo is fully functioning as a USB transport.

The proposed solution exceeded my expectations. Very efficient conversation and quick decisions.

Used a Raspberry Pi. NO GO.
Installed OK onto an sd card and booted up but wanted me to connect to WiFi when it was plugged into an Ethernet cable - HELLO, WAKE UP AT VOLUMINO.
Then it did not recognise a PI2AES hat. This was about the third time I had tried to get this pile of junk working and finally decided that my life was too short for this.
I suspect that when its been properly tested it may actually work but I only undertake software testing when paid - not as a free service.

Resolved a ticket without actually interacting with me to confirm things were fixed (they were not).

The reply to my query was quick and resolved my issues. What more do you want when you contact service support?

Having issues after updating my Rivo this was solved in a very reasonable time, Quick mail response from Davide, Volumio support worked out the issue and provided a new update.
