We installed a Voltshare EV charger at our self catering holiday let in the Lake District in October 2024 on the recommendation for our letting agent. While use was initially very low, we have seen a substantial increase over 2025. Guests have not reported any issues with getting it to work, and billing has been very straight forward. To what extent it has increased booking is hard to know, but it must be helpful and after some initial doubts, I'm pleased we got it done and chose Voltshare. They have been very efficient, easy to access, and provide an excellent app making keeping track of payments effortless.

Voltshare have to been one of the best companies we have ever dealt with, the customer care is superb.
Our guests have found the process of charging very easy, no hiccups.
As we installed the unit ourselves we contacted them several times needing information and they were extremely helpful every time. We had the connection done by a local electrician instead of one of the approved installers which saved us alot of money...even without getting the grant.

We decided to install a charger as our holiday lets are in a rural area with the closest large supermarket and public chargers some distance away. Also we had noticed that the advertising platforms we use increasingly have the availability of an EV charger as a filter on searches and few holiday lets in our area have an EV charger. The subject of EV chargers have been discussed on holiday let owner social media and noticed that Voltshare was highlighted as beings a great company to deal with. From our first enquiry to Voltshare through to installation the process was seamless and completed within 6 weeks. Customer service is first class, responsive and having the ability to easily contact them and speak to someone who has been involved since the begining of the project is great and a breath of fresh air in comparison to the usual customer service experience we are used to these days. Our charger went live at the end of June which meant most of our summer and autumn bookings had been made by guests who did not necessarily have an EV. However the couple of remaining weeks have been booked by guests looking for an EV at their holiday rental. Our first guests to use it loved the convenience of being able to plug in at the cottage. In fact they mentioned it in the 5* review they gave us on Airbnb. It is early days but am confident having the charger here will help secure more booking

We recently had an EV charger installed by Voltshare at our holiday let cottage in Skye and couldn't be happier with the experience.
Everyone we interacted with from sales and project co-ordination (Julian and Allister), to customer service support (Kerri-Lee), to EV installation (Stuart) was friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive to all our questions.
They guided us through the installation process clearly and efficiently, making sure we were informed at every step. After the installation was complete, they followed up to ensure everything was working perfectly.
It’s rare, and a real delight, to find a team so dedicated to customer satisfaction these days.

I used VoltShare chargers at the Watermill Theatre Newbury earlier this week.
I’ve not used VoltShare before but it all worked seamlessly and the App and user instructions were the best I’ve come across in 8 years of EV charging.
Overall a great experience getting a full charge whilst enjoying a fantastic performance of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Things to be aware of:
I had preconditioning (only, no charging) scheduled for the following day on my vehicle e-golf and the charger charged my car for 17 minutes then stopped (presumably because of the scheduling). So be sure to disable any scheduling before starting a charge. Also, adding notifications to the app to inform users of failed and completed charges would be useful. Also be aware of the minimum payment of £2.40 which is fine if you want more than 5 kWh but not if the charge stops before then.
I phoned VoltShare and spoke to Kerri-Lee who arranged to refund the minimum payment for the short session and helped me identify the cause of the stoppage so the next charge was unhindered.
Kerri-Lee is a real asset to VoltShare and an example to other companies of how to do customer service. In an era where so many companies are keen to deploy an AI chatbot to handle customer issues, VoltShare show that we don’t need or want more chatbots - we need more Kerri-Lees.

I had a query about my relatively new EV charger following some guest feedback. Kerri-Lee in the Customer Success team is absolutely brilliant! She is professional, very knowledgeable and helpful and reassuring. I am finding that my charger is already generating additional business for me - guests have told me that Devon has insufficient public charging points so are finding mine a great convenience. Using the voltshare charger at hook farm cottage, charger kept completing the charge without me stopping the charge and emailing me that charge was complete, it became very frustrating having to go back to the car to unplug the cable to enable me to restart the charging when everything was ok with the car settings.
This would happen within minutes of starting a charge even when it has been charging for a few hours previously and stopping without any reason.
Technical support were excellent at helping out when needed and looked into the matter, they found out that the charger was faulting on 'over/under voltage' and this was an issue with the campsite supply. They altered some settings within the charger unit and there was no faults when I connected up and charged overnight. (Charger output was 5kwh instead of 7kwh).

We had a problem with the charger being offline at our holiday cottage. Turned out the router SSID and password had been reset by a previous guest. Kerri-Lee was absolutely brilliant as it took several calls between her, the landlord and us. All got sorted and meant a lot as we could now charge the car at a lower cost and conveniently. Installed a Voltshare EV charger at our holiday home. Our local electrician installed the charger without difficulty - It was the first time he had installed one. Operating the charger is simple either via the app or via Apple Pay. The Voltshare team talked me through some of the App functions which allowed me better connectivity.
