Viv Europe didn't work for us
VE just didn't achieve for us. People were pleasant enough to chat with but their Estate Agency arm was hopeless, let us down badly. Paid our initial payment on demand (E700+) but everything just slowed to a halt. Only thing they did do was eventually get me an NIF number but they hadn't even noticed until I pointed out to them that the details on the official form issued were wrong, stated I was a US citizen when I am British. It seems they never really read the emails we sent as they didn't respond or sent meaningless information. After our planned visit to Portugal we decided that it was not for us, VE were a factor when we considered if they were so bad at this stage and we were paying them what would it be like going forward as things got more complex. Our mistake was paying up front before our visit but otherwise how do you get to know if they do the job properly?

Worth it!!
We are very happy to have used Viv Europe for our D7 application. Víctor was very attentive to our many questions and gave us peace of mind to what can be a very stressful and complex process. Calm, relaxed and caring
We found Victor to be communicative, calm and pleasant to deal with as we navigated the visa process. It has been at a time when Portuguese legislation is evolving, and so the VIV team had to be responsive to the shift in rules, which meant the process was perhaps not as smooth as any of us expected, but we understood it was a moving target. We felt we could reach out at any point to ask questions via email and that all responses back were polite and supportive. We also genuinely felt Victor wanted us to have a good outcome and experience. I did find that I had to quite often have to follow up emails for more clarification on detail to try and establish what information/documents were required, and trying to sort out the bank account took many, many months which was extremely frustrating and stressful, but we got there in the end, and I know that this was largely to do with the bank provider and not VIV Europe. Having received our visas after a long process we are now in Lisbon starting our adventure, and we are grateful for Victor's support and positivity.

Great But...
My husband and I are, in general, happy with VivEurope and their services. They are competent, which is very important to us. They would have received five stars from us but we have two things that we feel compromised our experience with getting our visas and our subsequent move from the US to Portugal. One was their projected timeline about getting the NIF, etc, and the second was a lack of communication. The lack of communication was extremely stressful for us, compromised our confidence in them, and we felt (by our standard) that it was unprofessional. Other than that, we are happy to recommend VivEurope and will continue to use their legal services as we need them.

This review is for the after service I received rom Victor with VivEurope. While my initial bank and NIF number job with them had a slight delay (eventually worked out), the after-service more than made up for it. Even after we finished working together and I moved successfully to Portugal, he continues to answer my questions via email. I can recommend Victor and his team as an honest company that cares for you even after you part ways. 4 stars for NIF and Bank set up, 5 stars for after-service. 4.5 average (excellent).

Outstanding Human Being and Immigration Attorney
We began working with Victor Queiroz of Viv Europe in July, 2022 and finally met with the Portuguese Consulate in Boston on October 20th. We are presently waiting for our D7 Visa to arrive.
None of this would have happened without Victor. He is one of the most amazing people we have ever met - honest, competent, heartfelt, authentic and responsive.
It felt like he was always next to us, holding our hand, especially during challenging times such as getting our Portuguese bank account and funding it.
He was always persistent, calm, available and ever present during the entire process. This included making our appointment with the consulate in Boston, sending and translating our documents into Portuguese and preparing us for our meeting.
In conclusion, besides being so competent and articulate, we most appreciated Victor's responsiveness and his immediate availability via phone or video during the many stressful and difficult times.
For example, because we were so stressed about the Boston consulate meeting for our Visa, he told us that he would be available to speak with us on the spot if there were any breakdowns.
We have already referred many of our friends to Viv Europe and Victor. We highly recommend them and look forward to our continuing relationship.

Highly Recommended!!! We contacted VivEurope at the beginning of 2021. It has been a long road, but Victor and his team’s positive outlook, persistence and knowledge paid off as we received my wife’s residency this week. Victor even provided more support by arriving at my wife’s SEF appointment, which was in his hometown of Braga. VivEurope - Portuguese D7 Visa
I was interested in the Portuguese D7 Visa and my research led me to email various firms for a quote and details. VivEurope's reply was the most convincing, and after a detailed call with Mr. Victor Queiroz where we thoroughly discussed my case, we began the process.
Throughout the process, Victor and his team were very helpful with tons of answered questions, NIF creation, Bank Account creation, document preparation, and Apartment Rental, among other things.
I recently got approved for the initial Visa I'm now in the final stages of the process. I'm very pleased with my choice of legal partnership with VivEurope and looking forward to continuing with them in the various coming steps.
