I was sceptical about learning Emergency First Aid online, but this course exceeded my expectations. The instructor’s expertise, passion and upbeat teaching kept the sessions engaging and memorable, and I finished feeling far more confident about doing my part in an emergency. Done this course back in may as a refresher. It was so much more interesting than when I first done it with another provider, which is a great achievement as this one was online and I quickly lose attention online normally! I felt he made sure that absolutely everything was covered and being taken in by everyone on the course.

Darren managed to achieve a great balance of professionalism, engagement and personality. He also went out of his way to make sure I had my first aid certification available to send off to my workplace as I needed it for the following week and it was going to be a very tight squeeze.

As a Learning and Development Professional, I was initially skeptical as to how the practical components of the course would be delivered. I found however, that the organizers had thought through the process and provided multiple and varied resources to ensure the practicals were done to the highest standards. This included the live demonstrations, printed material, additional videos and a well-guided practical assessment. The above and the quality feedback I received helped me to be even more confident in my skills in delivering first aid.

The course was engaging and I really enjoyed it. Darren, the trainer, took a learner-centric approach, ensuring to involve everyone and to make the learnings as relatable and applicable as much as possible.

Overall, it was a great experience!

What made this experience great was the communication in terms of signing up for the EFAW course, ease of payment, and an interactive, engaging course content on the day.

Afterwards I felt competent to carry out CPR, put a casualty in the recovery position, the appropriate response to shock, burns, fracture and overall approach to providing first aid.

I got referred to virtual health from the company i work for. Lets just say it was one of the best thing that could have happen to me.

I work in the gym and the fact i get to do this course online for 2 days without messing up my day was amazing & really easy.

They have a super helpful that will be more than happy to go up and beyond for you.

I have truly enjoyed spending these few hours on the zoom first aid call with Darren and other participants. Darren is a great tutor, who brings the right energy and enthusiasm into his teaching. He had very positive interaction with whole group and I found the material very sharp, clear and useful. All his instructions for the assessments were very helpful and the whole format of the online course was great.

I can highly recommend this course to everyone, who needs to refresh or gain their first aid certification for working at gym environment.

Fantastic delivery by Darren, fun and informative. I thought online delivery might be dull sat at a screen for 6 hours, but far from it. Would recommend and will use again for renewal of my qualification when I need it

The emergency first aid at work course delivery was excellent, six hours split across two days via zoom call so you can do it conveniently at home, the tutor darren was very friendly & helpful, and keeps you engaged throughout. Any questions you have are answered quickly both during the course delivery and after. Would highly recommend

Great course, really engaging and enjoyable! Prior to the course I did wonder how first aid would be delivered virtually, but I have to say this was by far more engaging and interesting than the fact to face courses I have done in the past! Darren is very knowledgable and clearly loves what he does, he included everyone and explained things thoroughly and in an enjoyable way!

Honestly I could not fault the course, content or delivery at all! It was the most interactive and enjoyable first aid course I've ever done, including those I've previously done in person. I learnt a lot more, and actually enjoyed learning it too. It's really inspired me to keep up my first aid skills, as well as highlighted just how important it is to have them. A huge thanks to Darren for making it so enjoyable!

If your wanting another boring old first aid course, this isn't the one for you!
Personal touches throughout the sessions, everyone had their own opinions listened to!

I was a bit anxious about sitting through a boring old slide show and it holding my attention, but it was far from it! Time flew past!

Darren is an excellent instructor and even though he must deliver these in his sleep, makes sure it's not boring!
Here's hoping I never have to use it in a real life situation, but I lf I do I am confident in my delivery!

I would totally recommend VHF for their Emergency First Aid at Work course. It was a full-on two days, packed with content, but the tutor Darren was excellent! Made the course content easy to understand and follow. Presenting to a large group via zoom is never easy, but it was engaging and felt personal. I am so happy with the company, I am now looking to book a 2nd follow-up course through them. Fantastic, thanks! Fay.
