This site is a complete scam. They don't let you share contact details even when you both agree to it and say the following:
Jackie: Sharing contact information becomes an option once a strong connection is established between you and your friend. This is to make sure you both trust each other and feel safe about it. After spending 5000 credits with someone special and passing verification, you can exchange contacts. Before that, the system keeps contact details private to protect your connection as it grows.
Jackie: I want to emphasize that the 5000 credits required for accessing this feature are solely dedicated to enhancing your communication with your partner. If you're curious about why it's 5000 credits, let me be transparent – we believe this amount is sufficient for you both to connect more intimately and ensure you're prepared for the next phase in your relationship.
There is nothing stated in there terms and conditions about this, which is a complete ripoff especially when you both agree to the exchange of contact details and get the same response back from the customer support team.
How does a site like this expect good reviews is they keep stopping people from connecting till you pay them £1000 or more

Violetdates and its sister sites are a complete SCAM
Violetdates uses a prepaid system that initially is set at a low price but increases after a user uses the free 20 credits and the first low cost top-up. Men can request a woman's contact details for free but must pay 3000 credits to receive it (only if the woman agrees). The photos are totally edited - women have sent me recent photos and the differences are substantial (wrinkles, weight differences, etc). Women can send audios and videos (that are expensive to view) but men cannot. Men and women can exchange emails (but the cost increases after sending the first email) and messages (priced per minute). The WORST feature of this site (and its sister sites in other countries) is that the site employees can PRETEND to be the woman you chat with - twice I have questioned the woman I usually chat with and the woman incorrectly answered questions about her son and hobbies that she had previously repeatedly told me.
This site CHANGES the features without consulting any users - so good luck if you are excessively short or tall because there is no height (or weight or English ability) listed anymore. Recently the age and city were reshown on the Profile page after being removed for more than 6 months.
This site is a SCAM. Never use this dating site (based in Cypress) that requires payment for credits. Instead, use a site that charges by the month for its features.
This site can write whatever disguised reasons they want about the charges, profiles, etc but this site and its sister sites are a SCAM.

Legal cases have already been lodged against these scum bags who have stolen the identities of unlocked social media accounts from models, popular and vaunerable people along with their personal photos, personal stories and glamourised them unlawfully and fraudulently on this Violet Dates site and others be warned! Please please do not be CONNED by subscribing to it. The photographs and profiles of beautiful models you see will throw themselves at you at all times of the day and night with all sorts of intimacy and realisim. Unfortunately the reality of the whole project is a complete and utter fraud! These scumbags even have a banner on site for you to donate to the Ukrainian people, how low can they go. You will find that many of the girls listed in eastern european counties are now all of a sudden now listed in the the Ukraine, hoping you will take pitty on them when the reality is that girls you think that you are speaking to is probably some big sweaty spic, sitting with several dreamed up accounts in front of them laughing all the way to the bank with your money. The opporators of this site are disgusting human beings, I will throw a party when they are finally caught and brought to justice which is thankfully getting closer! How humans can do this to each other for profit, I just cannot contemplate! Jumping on a bandwagon and using a pity tactic of a war torn counrty to help them profit from Ukrainian dismay is no less than sick in my opinion. Scumbags, is the only way I can describe anything to do with the Violet Dates & BRAVO dates prodogies. I will hopfully soon be listing deatails of a barrister who is dealing with this fraudulent lot, and a route for us to join forces to prosecute them. Hopfully their assets and proceeds of crime will be liquidated, our monies refunded to us and this lot jailed for thier disgusting illegal and fraudulent online conduct.

We check validated members' profiles carefully. Firstly, in order to register, every member takes a short video of herself / himself holding the ID, stating the current date, and confirming his/her consent for the registration out loud. Secondly, we verify if the information provided in the registration video corresponds to his/her profile info. Our moderators check if it is the same person — both at the video and at the profile picture. Thus, we can assure the person you are talking to is the person you see in the profile. Lastly, we verify if the personal documents member attaches are valid.
If any profile does not meet the requirements of the check-up at any of the abovementioned stages, it gets deactivated.

I have used this site and a sister…
I have used this site and a sister Latin site Funchatt. I have met a number of members on both sites and have been with 3 on Funchatt for a year. I DO have some skepticism at times but for the most part they have proven themselves to me. However, sometimes there are red flags - who doesn't have a cell phone that owns a business? I have even created another profile with a different name and "tested" my regulars. They were more than happy to chat with me so I'm feeling I am being used and something isn't right. How does a member chat with multiple guests? How can I be the only one? Are the members being paid when they receive messages, read letters, open photos and videos etc? Speaking of that, why in the world are videos so expensive to open?! They are only 20 seconds long! Various features are much too expensive for no reason. I am very frustrated with the price of many of the "features" on these sites especially videos. It's really unfortunate. I rarely open them. I have other complaints and suggestions including adding more emojis especially 'FACE' emojis. There isn't even a "hug" emoji! The site operator should communicate with me for advice on how to improve it. I have much experience here. But I have met some members that I am pleased with and am not suspicious of them as I have tested them carefully. Occasionally I see a member that is ALWAYS online - NEVER sleeps! Red flag! I DO wonder what their actual objectives are as this doesn't seem to be a real dating site but I do have fun anyway. I remain a cautious user.

Complete scam. They just use photostock models pictures and get a bot to ask you short irevelant questions like is it raining there to get you to spend credits. Site claims you have to buy 3000 before you are allowed to contact fake ladies to ask permision to talk outside the site via email, whatsapp. Totaly fake site, no actual women exist just a total scam. But the communication between you and your gorgeous one actually seems to be AI generated as some responses do not reflect the questions you ask. A little too much like Qpid’s sites
Seems VERY similar to CharmDate which has sister Asian and Latin sites and operates on a PPL - pay per letter - basis, though the cost of credits does appear to be a bit more reasonable than the Qpid-owned/managed sites.
Like CharmDate, the site appears to be populated exclusively by statuesque, beautiful individuals, with rarely one “minger” ever showing up - that fact alone sets alarm bells ringing.
A scan through the reviews also suggests that most of them have been submitted by friends or employees of the business, written as they are in very uncomfortable English - who uses “interlocutors” on a regular basis!?
This may or may not be a scam. I suspect that some of the women aren’t here for genuine reasons and some of the messages I’ve received seem to support that suspicion, so “left-field” and unrelatable are they…

Don't be tempted by a bit of glamour!
This is one of dozens of international dating sites, it has good and bad features - you just have to decide if you want to use it. I agree with Nick, it appears like a scam with women who may not be genuine - it just needs a bit of judgement. I've tried others, J4L, GoldenBride etc etc. and they're all much the same. You can spend a lot of money buying their 'credits'.
Simple chatting isn't expensive on these sites, but once you start downloading videos and sending emails with photos, your credits disappear fast and it can be a bit addictive!.
I think there ARE some genuine women on the site, it isn't difficult to work it out.....but when they enter into stupid conversations and ask irrelevant questions, its time to delete the contact, the more you spend credits the more you are paying the site (and maybe the women!)
On the plus side, the site is actually run by responsible people....I've requested refunds several times and always had my money returned. So - I think you just have to be cautious and work out what is going on....its a bit of a long shot, do you really want to travel to Ukraine or Russia on the off chance of meeting someone who doesn't speak much English and might be hesitant to come to the UK or USA. Its all a bit of a gamble, you just have to have your wits about you and be wary of wasting money.!
