Sold a pair of authentic trainers that cost me over £100 but the buyer said were counterfeit. Told them to return them and they returned a cheap book. Flagged to vinted and told them to check the weight difference. Received one email back and then nothing despite sending 3 separate emails chasing a response. Will be raising the matter via Money Claims Online.

Sold an item half was stolen by EVRI courier, buyer said/confirmed I'd sent the parcel all wrapped.

I'd also sent photos in stages and a final photo when the item was in the shop with its label attached.

As the buyer suspended the transaction. Totally understand and contacted Vinted the outcome was a AI response stating poor wrapping well obviously not as I'd sent about 8 photos at every wrap stage.

The buyer got a full refund, kept half the remaining package/item and I the seller got nothing no compensation.

Hence I'll never use vinted again ive since closed my account. Sellers are left out of pocket.

VINTED IS A DISGRACE AND OFFERS NO HELP TO SELLERS. I SOLD A LENS AND THE BUYER SCAMMED ME AND VINTED WILL DO NOTHING TO HELP ME. AVOID VINTED AND ANY BUYER IN FRANCE THEY ARE ALL SCUMBAG SCAMMERS.

I thought it was a good concept, recycling things you no longer need, but not in Ireland. Irish Vinted is mainly occupied by youngsters who, not knowing how to behave or talk to adults, throw childish tantrums, ask for reductions even on items priced at €2 😂 and then often change their mind when items arrive, trying to find fault which isn't there, creating issues. So, if you are an adult, and want to deal with other adults, save yourself a lot of hassle and consider other platforms. All in all a complete waste of time!

This site support sellers of counterfeit goods. The site is awash with this type of merchandise. Vinted only give 2 days to check the item purchased which isn’t long if you happen to be away for few days. They didn’t offer to stop this seller who I now realise has other trainers for sale which indicates they’re not a personal item belonging to the seller. I gave details of serial nos that match & they shouldn’t if official merchandise etc but no help from Vinted. Rate =0

No support for sellers. I sent a near enough brand new phone, packaged properly and had proof that it had been delivered and the weight of the package, buyer said he didnt get it and vinted are agreeing with him and I dont get my phone back or compensation? Vinted just say nothing they can do! truly horrible.

Don't waste your time on vinted. Three orders in a row either canceled by seller or returned to seller by An post. What's the point if it's a gamble on receiving the item.

Terrible experience. Bought an item it was smashed in transit. The seller had no protective packaging.

The company expect me to cover the cost of the postage and despite providing a dozen pictures, I couldn’t get a refund.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Käufer Schutz... Wofür bezahle ich diesen Schutz gibt es keinen... Genauso werden bei der Suche nicht die Versandkosten mit angezeigt, was hilft bitte ein 2€ Artikel wenn der Versand fast 13€!! Kostet!!? Was soll das bitte nach geringster Preis + Versandkosten sortieren...

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience on Vinted and feel the need to warn other sellers.

A buyer (Vanessa8117) purchased my watch, which was listed using the Bump service. After receiving it, she deliberately damaged the item in order to claim a refund. I have full evidence to support this, including before-and-after photos, detailed images of the packaging, and even iPhone Live Photos clearly showing the condition of the item prior to shipping.

Despite providing all of this proof, Vinted’s legal team still supported the buyer’s claim. As a reseller who operates across multiple platforms, I find this completely unacceptable and unfair.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise other sellers: DO NOT sell on this platform if you want proper protection. I will be taking this matter further.

Terrible customer service defending scammers .
It's hard to get through to them and even if you open dispute they will give the money to the scammers instead of trustworthy people.

Awful platform. Biggest scam going, and not by the sellers but by the company themselves. Avoid this at all costs.

Virkelig virkelig dårlig service og de snupper end penge , det værste er man ikke kan ringe til dem. Min søn havde solgt noget og havde 1000 kr på vinted kontoen. De blev sendt til hans gamle bankkonto, vi skriver til dem og banken. Banken kan jo ikke se det for de går automatisk tilbage når kontoen ikke eksisterer, vinted kræver nu bevis fra banken, kan vi ikke få fat der ikke er noget bevis de har aldrig været i banken. Banken siger det er vinted der skal undersøge det og de vil kunne se pengene er kommet tilbage til dem, men ikke min søn.. vinted vil ikke hjælpe så min søn har mistet der 1000kr og de er fuldstændig ligeglade, de har jo tjent 1000 kr eller stjålet 1000 kr. Så pas på , brug et andet sted.

Customer service is zero..absolutely terrible.. ignore messages saying they resolved the issue..when they clearly have not. Don't recommend

My son bought a jacket in good faith and when it arrived, the jacket was damaged. The photo of the item had concealed the damaged.
He raised it with Vinted support and he engaged by providing proof.
They appear to have done absolutely everything to avoid resolving the issue leaving him with a damaged product which is now not worth the cost of the postage.
A shameful company with zero class or customer service.
I really hope the company go out of business as they are just taking advantage of young people.

I purchased an item of Vinted and was sent a one time 24 hr expiring link, for reasons I do not wish to share I missed this window.

Upon opening the link the last line reads as follows.

‘To set up another delivery time contact Vinted support’

Upon reaching out to Vinted they pushed me immediately back to their parter AnyVan. After a tremendous amount of back and forth with both AnyVan and Vinted via text I decided to speak with someone over the phone. AnyVan was the only party with a phone number…

After a 30 minute conversation with AnyVan in which it was determined they are unable to reopen the link as this is from Vinted and that this has happened before and been resolved, I returned to Vinted.

I was now on the same chat which kept closing, I kept typing messages and the chat would close with no response, I was being ignored.

I have subsequently opened a new chat and am being told the same information, the order needs to be cancelled, there is nothing they can do, go speak to AnyVan, etc.

This is single handedly the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I would be extremely reluctant to ever use and recommend Vinted in the future.

And to top it all off I haven’t got my parcel I don’t money back and I’m guessing the seller hasn’t been paid. Perfect.
