Do not use this company. Unlike some I actually received some wine however it was clearly the wrong bottle. Different wine. Different year. Like others I received a response to my complaint from "Adam" who said he would send another out.

He mentioned courier service again which was weird given that the original was delivered by Royal Mail.

To date there has been no actual bottle ordered, no further response and no refund.

Please don't waste your time with this company. This company needs to cease trading immediately.

Much like the other reviews this company is rubbish. Ordered a bottle of wine for my husbands 60th birthday I have not received anything yet. Emailing gets me the response that my order is on the way (within 24 hours). I should have realised something was not quite right when the wine was much cheaper than other companies on line. I doubt the wine is what it claims to be. I wish I had of read the other reviews before ordering.

I have ordered a bottle of wine for friend's birthday and never received it.
All I received is an email saying order is complete with no explanation of what it means. There was also no dispatch confirmation and no ability to track order. .

I contacted them via email to request the refund and initially someone called Adam said the refund has been actioned and will appear in my account shortly. Two weeks later the refund still wasn't in my account and I followed up with them via email several but they stopped responding to my emails.

Do not waste your time on calling them as they never asnwer - I have tried several times.

I have now disputed the transacton through my credit company.

The quickest thing about this company is the speed they take your money. Incredibly poor service spend over an hour on the phone never did get an answer, no confirmation of order so was unable to track delivery ignored email request for order number, wine finally arrived took over a week avoid at all cost's.

I am currently having a very bad (and from reading reviews the same) experience with this company as many other people have.
I ordered wine for my twin brothers 30th present and I am still waiting to receive this.
Initially I tried to contact them via phone but was on hold for over 15minutes so I emailed instead. I did get a quick reply from someone called Adam, who said my order had tried to be delivered but was rejected due to the Easter bank holiday and they would contact the courier to try again.
I then heard nothing for another week so I chased again, only to be told the same thing and that a tracking number would follow. That was 6days ago.
I have since emailed twice, and tried to call them again, but was on hold for over 30mins so choose the 'leave a message option' no one has responded yet... also 24hours ago and counting.
They must know that these orders a gifts and they are ruining people's presents. It is extremely poor service and my next email is to demand a refund.
Don't use this company.

Although my order was initially "on hold" pending confirmation of payment (which was very unusual for a credit card transaction), I did receive my order on time and in good condition.
I emailed the company after the first day to ask why my order was on hold but just got an "order complete" response with no other human explanation. My order was delivered 2 days later and well packaged in good condition

I ordered a £70 bottle of wine for my dads 60th birthday with 3/4 day delivery.

The time came and went with no communication. I emailed asking on progress with no response. The birthday passed and still no response and the website now just says the order is on hold. I emailed again asking for a refund as it was now pointless receiving the wine. No response.

I've currently put the transaction into dispute with PayPal (they haven't responded to that either yet).

Save your time and money and do not use this company!

Same sort of experience as other 2 reviewers. Don't try phoning them - expensive rate and they NEVER reply.
Did get bottle (which is at least more than some customers!) but too embarrassed to give it to our friend as the level is low, the label is stained and the top looks like it's been chewed by a dog! Don't expect 40yr old bottle to be pristine but this looks awful.
Have spoken to someone at a reputable wine company (and ordered a replacement with them) who is aware of these people. He said they used to trade under name 'Wine Memories' - google the reviews!
Am going to ask for refund but, given their abysmal track record, don't expect much joy.
Am kicking myself I didn't research this company more thoroughly before ordering online. Don't make same mistake - do some research and ring to speak to a human on the phone before spending your money!

I ordered a bottle of wine £50.99 delivery 3/4 days didn't receive so I emailed them twice eventually I got a one liner we will look into and come back to you later today..nothing I emailed them twice more still no response. I called them and was on the phone for 15mins waiting with a message saying they would get to me or I could push 1 leave a message and they would call back which I did as I realised it was an 0843 number which was costing me but making them a fortune. No return call. so I sent them a final email saying if I didn't at least hear from them by the end of the day I wanted a refund... still no response.With that kind of customer service they are not likely to create new customers or keep existing I most definately would not use or reccomend them again.
So after writing this original review I get an email saying I would receive this the next morning I am not surprised that I didn't!!!
However I did receive it this morning and livid I wish I could put pictures on here!! The bottle was soaking wet so they put it in a plastic bag which stank the label was ripped and stained very badly obviously been sat for ages soaking wet in wine for ages for it to be this bad the top label is actually black the paper bit!! The metal top is rustly with actual mould growing on it !!!! It is that bad I can't beleive they even posted it!!! I have bought several bottles of 40 yr old wine from other companies in the past and have always been happy in a word GOBSMACKED a) at the custmer service and b) that any company would send this out!!
Update...so on Monday they said they would send out another bottle guess what? still not here and they have not responded to any of the 3 emails sent.....noone ever answers phone or calls back ( my phone calls to them on 0843 have cost a further £15 .
WELL final update as I am going to have to go down the legal route.
I eventually receive an email from them saying they will refund and give a complimentary bottle of wine....No surprise this did not happen they seem to be taking peoples money left right and centre but not providing a service I would say this is a scam. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL END UP WITH WASTED TIME AND MONEY LOST. IF YOU ARE ALREADY IN THE SAME POSITION AS LONG AS THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED YOU SHOULD ALSO DO THIS.

Ordered 60th year old bottle of wine from company. Had to chase company on order after a week with no update. When it did turn up it was thrown over back fence by myhermes. Email sent to company and informed them that the box was broken but the bottle of wine was intact, Company informed me a new box would be sent on the 8th September 2016. Still waiting for new box, have sent emails but just ignored.
