I needed more information on a product so I contacted customer service. Was so thankful I got an immediate response that answered my question.

Viking bags has been great for us to deal with. Quick response times, great attitudes and wonderful products! I highly recommend them in every way!

I have been using the Viking Bags Renegade Dry Backpack for a while now and I have been really happy with it. If you are looking for a simple, no-nonsense bag to keep your gear dry, this is a great pick. It is definitely built for function and performs exactly as advertised.

The Good:
The material feels rugged and it has done a fantastic job keeping my stuff dry through a few heavy downpours. I am a big fan of the roll-top design. It is quick to get into and it feels much more secure than a standard zipper when you are out on the road. The webbing on the front is a really nice touch if you want to clip on extra gear, and it is surprisingly comfortable to wear even when it is loaded up. The non-slip bottom is a small detail that I really appreciate because it does not slide around when I set it on the ground at a stop.

Things to consider:
It is a straightforward, functional bag, so keep in mind that it is just one large main compartment. If you carry a lot of small items, you might want to use some packing cubes to stay organized, but that is a minor trade-off for how well the bag holds up. If you are planning on mounting it to your bike, just make sure your sissy bar is high enough to support it properly.

Verdict:
For the price, this is a total workhorse. It looks good, performs perfectly in the rain, and it is built to last. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a reliable, no-fuss bag that they do not have to worry about. It is a great value for the quality you get.

I’ve been hunting for a tail bag that doesn't ruin the lines of my bike but still provides enough room for daily commuting and weekend day-trips. The Axwell Small absolutely nails it.

The build quality is immediately apparent out of the box—the heavy-duty Cordura construction handles highway speeds and weather without flinching, and the zippers are robust enough that you don't feel like you're going to snap them when the bag is fully loaded.

What I appreciate most is the mounting system. It’s highly versatile and anchors tightly to the passenger seat/fender without any annoying shifting or slack at 70+ mph. The internal organization and zippered side compartments are perfect for keeping smaller essentials (keys, tools, registration) separate from the main cargo area. It's compact enough to look clean on the back of the bike but expands visually to carry way more than you'd expect. If you want top-tier craftsmanship without paying an absurd premium, this is the bag to get.

If I could give this place a zero I would. How am I going to spend money Then, you guys send me the wrong stuff for me to return it. And you guys to not send me any thing back, or any money you guys just like stealing from people. I didn't get my product that I ordered and I didn't get my money back.What a scam

I tried one of their backpacks to see how it would stack up against other options on the market. I ended up with the 45L Tactical Extra Large Backpack.

Tactical is the perfect name for this bag as it has plenty of Molle for adding lots of accessories. It even includes a sunglasses case so you can keep a pair at the ready whenever you need. If it starts to rain, there is an included rain pouch that you can put over the bag to keep your contents dry.

I think the main reason to pick this bag over other options in the market is the sheer number of pockets. There are so many different pockets to store anything in all of the nooks and crannies of the bag. If you're a fan of organization, you'll love this bag. The other reason you'd pick this bag is if you ride a cruiser with a sissy bar & you want to mount the bag on the sissy bar. It does so easily with included straps.

When you arrive at your destination, simply disconnect the bag from your sissy bar and deploy the straps to use it as a backpack.

My only gripe is that if you don't have a sissy bar, the included straps and chest strap aren't as comfortable to use while riding as some other bags on the market. But those other bags tend to be a single giant pocket for dumping everything into. So, the tradeoff is comfort vs organization.

The customer service was excellent. Ann was quick the respond (via email) and took care of my needs better than expected. The product (Trident Extra Large Motorcycle Backpack) seems very rugged with lots of storage options and mounting clips. Looking forward to testing it out.

Beware promo code scam I tried to order using a promo code that was listed online and although code worked and reflected the coupon then the system removes the discount after payment method entered right before you finalize and to top it off their customer service reps are rude and lack basic customer service skills and Leslie refuses to get a manager when asked she'll just start overtaking you and after telling her to stop being rude n get me a manager I'm pretty sure she just put her n the phone cause when finally someone who says are a manager but its just as rude as the other reps doesn't even know how a manager is supposed to introduce themselves when they pick up the line had to pull his teeth just to get his name and then finishes with well im busy n need to answer other calls I was in shock at the level of unprofessionalism I guess they're in business to be rude to their callers because they're all act like they don't need anyones business so I decided to give my business elsewhere they're not the only company that makes saddlebags

They not only offer great quality bags that come with different attachment points for different bikes but they have been very easy to deal with and great quality material.
