Vijay is a fantastic teacher

Vijay is a fantastic teacher. Always extremely well prepared, his experience and knowledge is such that he can teach the student various ways of approaching a topic so that they truly understand it. He has helped my children with GCSE maths/ further maths (where they each gained grade 9s in both first time) and I am confident he can support through a level maths too given his qualifications and experience. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

It has been a pleasure teaching both of your children, and I’m absolutely delighted with your daughter’s outstanding GCSE results — Level 9 in IGCSE Maths (188/200) and Level 9 in AQA Level 2 Further Maths (142/160). An exceptional achievement, especially alongside all those other Level 9s!

She should be very proud of what she has achieved, and I’m pleased to continue supporting her as she progresses to A-level Maths. I look forward to seeing her flourish further. 🎉👏

Y13 A level tutor

Vijay was a great maths tutor for Y13 A level maths. He was efficient and to-the-point; had a wide knowledge of examination questions and was very good at explaining both the underlying maths and the various types of exam questions. Great tips on examination technique. Easy to work with him using the Pen Tablet.

August 2025: Thank you so much for your kind review. It was a real pleasure to support your daughter intensively with A-level Maths revision from March through to June. She picked up the use of the Wacom tablet very naturally, which made our online lessons run smoothly and efficiently.

I’m delighted with her excellent result in Maths (246/300), alongside her A* in Biology and A in Chemistry. Securing her first-choice place at Queen Mary/Bart’s to study Medicine is a fantastic achievement, and I’m so pleased I could play a part in her success.

Excellent tutor

Excellent tutor. Highly recommend. Extremely competent, professional and able to teach efficiently by identifying a student's weakness very quickly. In the end of Year 9 exams to the end of Year 10 exams my son went from c. 60% to over 90%.
Year 10 is first year of GCSEs. While my son is an extremely competent student, at a highly rated school, he has found that the pace can be fast in class and small important understandings are missed. Therefore, Vijay is able to fill in the gaps, consolidate the class learning as well as advance forward in the syllabus. He has a great deal of teaching material and exam questions to practise. Vijay is an extremely supportive resource and should my son decide to take A level Maths then it is on the basis that he would have Vijay to steer him to success.

August 2024: A clean sweep of 11 Level 9 grades! I'm very proud to note that Maths was the best result with a colossal score of 199/200!

Highly recommended Maths Tutor

Vijay tutored my son for the final 5 months leading up to his Edexcel Maths GCSE exams. The improvement was huge - Vijay really helped my son with areas of Maths with which he had struggled for a long time and perhaps most importantly gave him the confidence that he’d been lacking in the subject. I would wholeheartedly recommend Vijay as a Maths tutor and in fact hope he can help my daughter in the future.

Excellent A Level Maths tutor

Vijay has been a simply excellent tutor for our son as he prepared for his A Level Maths exam in June 2023. Vijay recognised his potential from the start and with his through teaching methods provided a range of exam questions working through answers at each lesson. He definitely helped our son to get an A and therefore into his chosen university. Highly recommend Vijay as a maths tutor.
