It's perfect for not only basic editing, but also compositing high quality VFX, color-grading... and just about any other thing you could need. The developers update it constantly and I use it in every project. Totally recommend: 11/10

I just got a notification that apparently my subscription will expire in a month. This was a surprise.
I can't remember seeing it being a subscription when I bought it last year. I also just checked last year's purchase email, and it does not mention a subscription of any kind.
And even going to their website right now, it doesn't mention the subscription model, or at least, I cannot find it anywhere.

I worked on the project for 3 weeks. It turned out that the file after export is scattered, some effects do not work. The installation is unintuitive, and the program is not worth its price.

It's what I need but the journey has been painful.
I purchase Pro and you need it for 4K forever, when my licence expired my projects crashed. Hence forced to buy new licence. Get lifetime. My biggest mistake was I would create new project from old to retain project settings but the project file kept all the baggage (deleted, trimmed, video from old project) until I was each file even with one video at 5Gbytes each. wtf. 10 minute project = 5Gbtye and my computer pushed to the limit. Hence alway create new and double check the settings. I wish these computer would tell why they crash. i.e you are now 150 GByte virtual memory and about to crash or all working directories are on C drive causing it to max out 100% hard rive access for 15minutes.

Ausstattung und Möglichkeiten sind, für eine Freeware, wirklich erstaunlich und in diesem Maß , nicht selbstverständlich .Wer sich mit dem Erstellen von Videos noch nicht auskennt, sollte sich mit der Free Version ,ganz in Ruhe vertraut machen, und etwas Gedult mitbringen ! Ich empfehle daher, von Anfang an, die You Tube Video Tutorials ( Alle mit deutschen Untertiteln verfügbar ) zu nutzen und sich, Schritt für Schritt, mit allen grundlegenden Funktionen und Einstellungen, vertraut zu machen ! Auf der Internetseite des Herstellers, findet man weitere schrifftl. ,Anleitungen für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene ! Wer also etwas Zeit investiert, sich mit den theoretischen Details, zu Funktionen und Einstellungen, den Grundlagen der Bedienung usw. befasst, wird in absehbarer Zeit , die Arbeitsweise und Funktionalität des Editors, verstehen, anwenden können und Spass damit haben !

Ist man mit der Sofware ,erst einmal vertraut, kann man bei Bedarf, die Pro Version, für einen fairen Betrag,(im Verhältniss zu den unzähligen Features ,beider Versionen) , imJahresabo in vollem Umfang nutzen !Alle nötigen Infos dazu , findet man ebenfalls , auf der Herstellerseite. Darüber hinaus gibt es, regelmäßig Neuerungen,Upgades, Features Vorlagen,Werkzeuge, Videotutorials und bei Fragen,oder Problemen, eine freundliche und schnelle Kundenberatung ! Ich bin mit der Software, in Free & Pro Version ,wirklich zufrieden ! 4 von 5 Sternen gebe ich deshalb, weil der Editor, für Anfänger , ohne Zuhilfenahme der Tutorials, zu kompliziert und nicht selbsterklärend ist. Benutzeroberfläche und Funktionen ,sind einfach zu spezialisiert und vielseitig, in ihren Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, dass man sich , ohne Hilfe, kaum zurecht findet und schnell überfordert und gefrustet sein kann ! Ohne diesen Faktor, würde der VSDC Video Editor von mir , volle 5 Sterne bekommen ! Ein sehr professionelles Programm,dass nach und nach, immer mehr Spass, durch seine unzähligen Möglichkeiten bringt !

I never knew Anything about editing. Started learning how to edit in 2020 with the free version of VSDC. After about 6 months I purchased the Pro version. They are extremely patient and always respond to my emails in a timely fashion.

I use this software regularly for editing personal videos of gameplay and school work. I find it very easy to use and there are plenty of videos online to help me use additional features. Easy recommendation!!!

I find that the VSDC video editor is the best.
I've been using it now for 2 years and I am so happy with the results that I upgraded to the Pro version.
It is a wonderful program for helping my wife and I to
create Beautiful music videos of our all original music
for our you tube channel. ( revelation77 the Spirit )
Being very new to video editing , I found the program so easy to use.
The tech support from VSDC is amazing !
They have so many free tutorials on all of the programs capabilities on youtube.
Also there are so many users that share their knowledge on youtube to help teach the program.

This program or software help me in so many part especially my poor family because after shoot my video
all editing I'm doing with Vsdc video editor for five years now I'm going six years
Good Features,and best effect, Masking and etc is the Best of the best features remove background etc
All in all Vsdc is very simple using that why I'm using it

In general, this software has some cool effects, and manipulation parameters which is great for making the unique visual identity (while learning the basics first ofc), although it is a little bit complicated to be used, but still fun!

Excellent software, have been using it for years. Great customer support as well. Timely and efficient.

Amazing and easy to use video editor software. It's not intimidating for beginners and it has the same capabilities of other big editor software. VSDC's edge among those is that VSDC is easy to use and not confusing, affordable and has tons of options, settings and features that will make your video outstanding.

I have used multiple different video software programs over the years and VSDC make a wonderful quality program and with many additional tools at a price that is affordable and stills allows you to stay up to date with all updates they push. Even though the product speaks for itself, the customer service has always been some of the best I have received. I have had only a handful of times where I reached out them regarding licenses or general questions and they respond quickly and with details and links on how they can support.

I think that the free version of the software is somewhat easy to use. Not intuitive, but the tutorials are easy to find and follow. I appreciate that there are no watermarks.

What I dislike, is their attempt at hiding that the Pro version is a subscription, or their lack of effort to tell you. I have considered buying the Pro version, and most people buy it by clicking on the UPGRADE button in the software. Nowhere in the software or payment page do they mention the length of you purchase, and the only hint you get that it is a subscription, is an auto-renewal option. I had to search for whether it was a subscription or not, and how long it was.

Three years of this CRAP program, $75+ in fees for pro. You camt find anything you need, the tool menu is just too fragmemted and cant figure out workflow. I added 27 sequential clips, adjusted the first to size, then to my horror each one except that defaulted to its native size.

Let me compare it like this: If thus was photography Id be in Photoshop. If I want to link or lock each layer (like multiple vid clips in vsdc) I woukd adjust one and it applies to all layers. VSDC only offers BS workarounds.

I am also a person with deuteranopia. The TINY red play, pause, ff, rew is about 8 pixels high red on a greenish background and I can barely see it. I raisex this to VSDC and the reply was 🤷🤷🤷🤷. Pretty much can't help with that or resizing panels.

I spent too much time with crazy workarounds when I rather have a "transport" window where I can move and resize it as well as the SMPTE code, it should be able to be put anywhere on the monitor, both are fastened down to the main window.

I REFUSE TO RENEW THIS IMPOSSIBLE SOFTWARE.

Toutalement inutilisable à moins d'y paser des heures de formations. Aucune ergonomie.
J'avais simplement à mettre quelques photos et deux vidéos. Premier chalenge, mettre des transitions... Dans certains logiciels performant il suffira de placer la transition à l'endroit voulu sur la time line. Et bien pas là, trop simple, vous appuyez sur la touche alt et avec la souris vous faites glisser l'image (ou la vidéo) sur l'autre. Vous voulez ajouter une vidéo, pas de problème croyez vous. Vous la selectionnez et la placez à la fin de votre travail, et là... tout se décale pour une raison mysterieuse... et ce ne sont que deux exemples...
Bref, si vous voulez vous prendre la tête ce logiciel est pour vous.

Die Software ist recht mächtig, aber für einen ordentlichen Einsatz muss man die Pro-Version erwerben.
Ich fand den Kaufpreis von etwa 30 Euro angemessen – und nach etwa einem Jahr wurde ich benachrichtigt, dass mein Abo auslaufen würde. Allerdings habe ich nie ein Abo abgeschlossen, sondern die Software direkt beim Hersteller gekauft. Mit keinem Wort war irgendwo (Kaufwebseite, Rechnung, FAQ) erwähnt (und ist es immer noch nicht), dass es sich um ein bloß einjähriges (oder kürzeres oder längeres) Abo handelt.

Es ist das erste Mal, dass ich in so eine Abo-Falle tappe, da ich eigentlich gründlich recherchiere – hätte ich doch nur vorher auf Trustpilot geschaut.
Hier wird unter Vorspiegeln eines Kaufs ein Abo vertickt. In diversen Rechtskreisen ist das kriminell. Das hätte die Software nicht nötig gehabt. Das in irgendwelchen AGB zu verstecken reicht nicht aus.
