Just a simple great transaction

I've used Verbatim twice now, once for a couple of interpretation projects and once for a straight transcription.

Price: They seem about average for transcription, but for interpretation, they are the BOMB. I had two videos of interviews we had done through two interpreters at a time. (Three languages. It was a mess.) Verbatim was over $100 cheaper than the service we normally use. The other service counted transcribing the interview as a separate service, but not Verbatim!

Service: For two of these projects, we had security concerns, so Verbatim signed a non-disclosure agreement before I sent them the video for a quote. However, they thought the request for a quote was me giving them the job (I still don't understand how this happened, even re-reading the emails). I was very surprised to find the finished transcripts in my inbox--and what could I do at that point except pay them? The experience has made me a little jumpy.

Product: They do a nice job transcribing. I can't speak to interpreting, or else I wouldn't need them! Overall, I'm satisfied, but I do wish they had time stamps on their transcripts so I would I know where to go back to in a recording if I wanted to hear the person actually say it.

I've done work with Verbatim Solutions for about a year now and they are great. They are very efficient with getting back on how long a job will take, and when it's an emergency job, they get back to you promptly.
I'm giving this rating a 4 star instead of 5 because the beginning though, I had some problems though with the person that I corresponded with (he no longer with Verbatim), he would be late with the translations or overlook a job I sent and I would have to email constantly to remind him. But now I correspond with Rossanne and she's great. She confirms when she gets my emails and let's me know when the job will be done. I wish I could have corresponded with Rossanne at the beginning, if I did this rating would be 5 stars.

Quick service, but we've noticed a good number of errors in back-translations that needed to be corrected.

Every time I send them a project, I know I will get it back very quickly. I work on tight deadlines and they always deliver.
