Uso Veeam Backup da diversi anni e negli ultimi mesi stanno capitando problemi spiacevoli. Tutto inizia con ladecisione di aggiornare a Windows 11 26H1 i server virtuali che gestisocno le linee di produzione. Tutto bene fintanto che Veeam Backup 12 cessa di effettuare il backup delle medesime VM, solo quelle. Aggiorno Veeam all'ultima release 12, fiducioso di risolvere. Niente da fare, faccio ulteriori verifiche e decido di installare l'ultima release della versione 13. L'aggiornamento va a buon fine ma servizio di backup rimaneo bloccato in fase avvio. Tutta la struttura senza backup, complimenti.

My experience with Vimsoftware’s hiring process was disappointing and unstructured.

The first call with the recruiter immediately raised concerns—she had no clear understanding of the company’s hiring process or the interview stages. Later, she sent me an email with a test task, stating that the next step would be this assignment, which could take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours—a significant and unclear range.

The task itself was extremely abstract: implementing a logic-code solution for form generation in React and TypeScript. Despite the vagueness, I followed high standards and spent 4 hours completing it. However, the feedback I received was mostly negative, lacking real constructiveness. Instead, it contained numerous minor remarks, which felt improvised rather than well-thought-out, given how undefined the task itself was.

Overall, the process was inefficient, poorly structured, and frustrating. I would not recommend this company to professionals who value their time.

The reseller partners are good enough for acquiring new customers. When it comes to renewing subscriptions, Veeam prefers to make the customer offers directly. How shabby is that?

Veeam ist für mich seit langer Zeit der unangefochtene Marktführer, wenn es um zuverlässige, sichere & moderne Backup-Lösungen geht. Seit einiger Zeit nutze ich das kostenlose Programm "Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows FREE“ & bin davon rundum begeistert. Dieses Programm hebt sich deutlich von allen anderen Backup-Lösungen ab, die ich bisher ausprobiert habe.

Veeam überzeugt durch superschnelle Performance, hohe Sicherheit & eine einfache Handhabung, die es ermöglicht, meine Daten effektiv zu sichern.

Besonders beeindruckt mich, wie mühelos der "Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows FREE“ arbeitet. Die Backups laufen im Hintergrund unglaublich schnell & beeinträchtigen meine laufenden Arbeiten in keiner Weise. Dank der state-of-the-art Technologie fühle ich mich sicher, dass meine Daten optimal geschützt sind. Gerade in der heutigen Zeit, in der Datensicherheit essenziell ist, setzt Veeam hier neue Maßstäbe.

Ein weiteres Alleinstellungsmerkmal von Veeam ist die Flexibilität & Skalierbarkeit ihrer Produkte. Diese erweiterte Version ermöglicht mehrfache Backups, was für mich der nächste logische Schritt ist für die Erstellung & Verwaltung meiner Backups.

Was das "echte" Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis betrifft, ist Veeam schlichtweg unschlagbar. Der "Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows FREE“ bietet eine Geschwindigkeit & Zuverlässigkeit, die viele kostenpflichtige Programme weit übertrifft. Trotz der Tatsache, dass es sich um eine kostenlose Lösung handelt, erhält man bei Veeam die gleiche Qualität & Zuverlässigkeit wie bei ihren kommerziellen Produkten. Dieses exzellente Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat mich dazu bewogen, Veeam-Produkte bereits mehrfach weiterzuempfehlen.

Fazit:
Veeam vereint alles, was ich mir von einer Backup-Lösung wünsche: Schnelligkeit, höchste Sicherheit & Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Das hervorragende Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis & die Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten mit Produkten wie der "Veeam One Community Edition“ machen Veeam zur besten Wahl. Für mich ist Veeam der "Mercedes“ unter den Backup-Lösungen & verdient selbstverständlich fünf Sterne!

Love their veeam agent for microsoft windows community edition. Works very well for daily data back up my laptop, would be nice if they allow more than one back up task tho. But when i installed the Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition to see if i can back up more than one device, their sales agent keep spamming me i get it that they have to meet a certain amount of sales but sending 4 emails in one week is crazy.

I bought a £2000 licence to find it doesnt work and i have no backups veeam will sort me new licences but want another £1000 and won't refund the first £2000 back even though they sold me the wrong licence for the job!! i need to find a new DR system that doesn't steal my money in this current climate. Steer clear

Great business pro products but have had issues with the free agent backups failing to restore correctly. Server restore no problem, workstations restore big problems.

After dealing with the paid version and the free version, I'll say this. Don't rely on it. I've had restores fail multiple times now on good media. I've had backups give cryptic messages and fail to continue. Their support isn't worth the cost either. Too much effort just to get a backup to run.

To start their backup products have become more and more unreliable of late. Their support is nothing more than a call back with a reference to an article you have already found your self, read and ruled out.

The worst part of the "Veeam Experience" is the Yearly support costs and "fines" for not renewing or not renewing on time. These fines are 25% of the renewal cost. So lets say you decide not to renew for year, come next year you will be charged for the full year you didn't renew, a penalty for not renewing and the year on top. Comes to more than the software.

We will not deal with Veeam again. A company that fines its customers for not paying for support. Then also charges them for the years they missed and can never use??? Excellent!
