I used them from sponsored Google results to vector a logo for free.

They showed the logo being vectored, when I tried to download it a message popped asking me to sign up. So I did. I have screens which say 'enjoy 2 days of trial'. No info about subscription etc. When I signed in they charged me £1 for the download, which has not downloaded and 2 days later £26 as subscription fee which they refused to refund.

They are thieves and the banks should not allow them to use the online payment option.

Paid for the $1 trail, cancelled the subscription, two days later I got charged $49 dollars. I have sent an email which I am waiting for a reply on.

First it charged1$ for a photo. then suddenly took 50$ next day.
total scam! and still trying to charge 45$ every week.

Abofalle. Für ein Bild bearbeiten berechnen sie 1€ und ohne es zu wissen wird im Hintergrund ein Monatliches Abo in Höhe von 29 Euro abgeschlossen und direkt abgebucht.
Nach der Kündigung ist man dann auch gleich gesperrt. So das man den Monat den man ja bezahlt hat nicht mal nutzen kann.

SCAM. They have been charging me £26 since September for a service i did not order. This is a completely dishonest way to run a business

Vecticon charged me €1 to enhance 1 photo and then when we checked our account we find that they also took out €29.00. Hello Vecticon are you to be trusted or not? Or have I, your admiring customer, been had? The €1 payment was dated the 9 November and the €29.00 payment, which I did not authorise, was taken out on the 11 November - (ref+390297131653MLT) (Anto Kerins)

I thought I was paying £1 for a free trial in May 2024 in order to vectorise one image.
I have just realised that they have been charging me £26 a month ever since. No confirmation email was sent, I don't remember any T&Cs been offered when I did the trial.
Avoid like the plague.

My experience of Vecticon's customer support has been the complete opposite of most reviewers. I downloaded one image, failed to read the small print about subscription, and was then charged £26 two days later. I contacted customer support, explained the problem, and they kindly refunded the £26 as a gesture of goodwill within two working days. I am very happy with the outcome.

Absolute scammers. Do not trust this site. Cancel any card you used with them because they will keep charging it forever

I give one star as there is no way of putting zero stars.
“One time use” turns in to an elevated £26 month……….really!

SCAM charging €29 per month. Unsubscribing is not enough, I have written to the Malta police as advised.

I recently tried Vecticon's service for £1, hoping for quality photo results, but was disappointed with the output. However, the real issue came when I noticed an unauthorized charge of £26 on my bank account. I did not agree to this additional charge, nor was I informed of it beforehand. Thankfully, my bank promptly refunded the amount after I reported it as unauthorized.

If you're considering Vecticon, be cautious about unexpected charges. I can't recommend a service that operates in such an underhanded way.
Under UK law, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 provide consumers with certain protections, including a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases, subscriptions, and services. Here’s a quick breakdown:

14-Day Cooling-Off Period: For services purchased online (including subscriptions like Vecticon's), consumers are entitled to a 14-day period where they can cancel the service and receive a full refund, regardless of the service provider’s terms and conditions.

Cannot Be Waived: Businesses cannot force consumers to waive this cooling-off period. This means that if you were charged after signing up, you should legally be allowed to cancel within 14 days and receive a full refund, even if Vecticon’s terms try to limit this.

Applicability to Digital Services: Even for digital services, if a company starts providing service immediately, they still must inform consumers of their right to cancel within this period.

If Vecticon refused to honor this right, your bank and potentially the Maltese cybercrime authorities would likely see this as a breach of consumer protection laws. You could also contact the UK's Citizens Advice Bureau or the Financial Ombudsman to escalate the matter, as these agencies can help enforce this law for transactions made in the UK.

Awful scam. Thankfully bank blocked the payment that tried to follow.

Here is how to deal with it .
Send them an email asking to unsubscribe - don't hold your breath.
Tell them in the email you are reporting them to the Maltese police cybercrime department for deceptive practices and theft
Contact your bank and tell them you didn't authorise this transaction and to stop any future payments

Make a complaint to the Maltese cybercrime department( (Google it) for email address as annoyingly trust pilot doesn't allow links
