Hello, I would like to inform you that this company sells very poor-quality hair. After just two washes, the hair becomes like felt – impossible to comb or do anything with. But the biggest problem is the keratin: it is of bad quality, and the hair falls out within two weeks. Out of 200g of hair, only 60g remained — the rest simply fell out, and the length shortened from 70 cm to 50 cm. The hair is basically ready to be thrown in the trash. When I informed this company that I wanted to return the hair after two weeks, they refused. Therefore, I want to warn people not to buy from them, as it is a waste of money, and the company is dishonest, refusing returns and denying their factory’s faulty products. It is very unfortunate that I had to deal with them and be deceived

I ordered loose deep wave 22inch #12, after WhatsApp conversation with them for advise. The hair they sent was nice, right curl etc but the colour was way too dark more like #4. I contacted them with a photo and they did say it looked dark so I returned it (at my own expense)with a sample of the colour I was expecting. The new bundle arrived a few weeks later the colour is OK But the hair is awful, the curl is way tighter than the 1st order it is definitely not 22inch I measured it stretched out it is barely 19inches.There are so many short hairs the ends are like spindles. I ordered 22inches to allow cutting the ends so I could get a length of 16inches. There is no way this will be the case. So disappointing I really hoped I had found a reliable consistent extension supplier.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent order. Unfortunately, the experience with this purchase has been deeply unsatisfactory for several reasons:

1. Quality Concern: The hair I received does not meet the advertised standard of 100% human hair. As a certified hair extension specialist, I can confirm that the extensions do not curl properly with heated tools, which is a clear indication of synthetic content.

2. Shipping Delay: The order was significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery time, causing disruption in my client bookings.

3. First Impression Matters: As this was my first order with Varlea, I had sincerely hoped to establish a reliable partnership. However, the poor quality and service have made me reconsider any deals with you.
NOT RECOMMEND COMPANY, DONT BUY FROM THEM!!!!! FAKE!!!!!
P.s their reply below trying to "wash their hands off" seems like i never work with blonds or different supplier????🤬😡
Also, customs! If that is the case dont you think, that delivery information should be updated prior checkout? The reason most of customers buy because it says"delivery within 3-7 days". (No way) Stop blaming EU, the order was tracked every day and it was in Shang Hai (or what ever China place) for 11 days...its unprofessional to even argue with client or proof your unability to provide service smoothly!!!

I purchased hair from Varlea and was shocked by the strong chemical, alkaline-like smell that came with it — so harsh that I didn’t feel safe using it. The hair was left completely unused, and I immediately contacted the seller.

Instead of acknowledging the issue, they dismissed it as just “how I feel,” refused to accept it as a fault, and told me to cover the return shipping to China if I wanted a refund. When I asked them to comply with UK consumer laws, they became increasingly dismissive and even called my concern “unprofessional.”

For a company that claims to have served 100,000+ customers, I expected at least a basic level of accountability. They refused to take responsibility or offer a prepaid return label, which violates the rights of UK consumers when receiving a defective or unsafe product.

I’ve now had to escalate this through PayPal and report the business to UK Trading Standards.

Do not buy from this hair extension retailer !!!!! …. Bought some 16” real hair dreadlock extensions form varela uk ( although in china so why uk) . Shipment was delayed because of Chinese new year . When they finally arrived booked in to get them locked in . Went to an Afro Caribbean hairdresser as I wanted them done properly, when nearly finished the hairdresser said why did I choose synthetic ones , I told him they are real hair extensions and he laughed and said he has been doing this job too long and that these extensions where synthetic. He said they are too course and won’t soften. Are a couple of days they started to fray and it was like needles sticking in my head . I was given advice from the Afro Caribbean community to try and soften them which if they were real hair they would of done but they didn’t and everyone who’s seen them and touched them have all said they are not real . On contacting varlea with correspondence back and forth and pictures and varlea insisting that they are real they refunded me half of my money back but would not give me a full refund unless I sent them back ( they are in my head ) …. These extensions are absolutely rubbish and would urge people to get any extensions from an hairdresser and not from these jokers in china

I ordered human hair 22 inch dreadlock extensions, 25 light grey, 15 salt and pepper to match my hair.
They arrived today and I couldn’t be happier.
Well made, good price and very quick delivery after the production.

I purchased a curly frontal with x3 bundles, the curls we're gorgeous and so soft. The frontal had the perfect thickness my hairdresser was very impressed and asked where I got the hair from for themselves. The price and delivery time is fair. I would recommend this site 👌

I have no negative feedback. The shipping was speedy (I think I got it 5 days after ordering) and I did not have to pay any customs fees (Based in NYC if that helps anyone) The only note my stylist made was that the tops were hair meant to be blended is really thick - but I have more fine hair so it may not be an issue for everyone - and she was able to trim them. They matched my locs in texture and shape well - I had 2 strand twists about 6 months old before installing the extensions. I will recommend this shop/product to anyone considering extensions.
