We had two wonderful guides Brian F and Angela. They provided so much insight into the country, giving us some history as well as general information on the local area. They answered all our questions and were always so patient and helpful. On a small tour a great guide is so important

Oh my did we enjoy our tour
Oh my did we enjoy our tour. We had the best tour guide ever. (Lisa) We just had the best all around. I cannot say enough about this 11 day driftwood tour with vagabond. When I go back, which I will, we will take another one with vagabond again. If you are on the fence, then get off of it and jump on the bus. You will have the time of your life.

Every place we visited was explained, all tours were casual and not rushed and questions were answered, and the guides took an interest in their guests.

Our tour guide
Our tour guide, Dave, made the experience fabulous. He was knowledgeable, engaging, helpful and quickly became a member of all the fun. He managed to tell great stories while at the same time driving with great consideration for those aboard and in the other vehicles. His recommendations were always spot on.

The guide definitely made the trip memorable and full of fun and adventure !
The guide definitely made the trip.Philip has such a funny personality and was really successful in bringing us all together.( a lot of Dad jokes though..lol)
The logistics of the trip were beyond reproach…hotel reservations,dinner reservations,timings to meet the next adventure..everything was bang on !
The ability to think quickly on ones feet was an added bonus when one of our restaurants could not accommodate the group!
Everyday was packed with activities,be it shopping in the middle of storm Ashely,horse and carriage ride in the rain..everything went according to plan.
Best parts for me was the sheep farm,The guides
( Black cab ride)in Belfast,the Famine Memorial and definitely the accommodations !
I am considering booking another trip Oct 2025 again,just to absorb all the information overload..
Loved loved loved the trip..
I have left my heart in Ireland 🇮🇪

We saw numerous breathtaking sites, castles, sheep ,coastal towns, and all the delicious foods and meaningful friendships! Ireland is more stunning than I ever imagined. I can't wait to come back!

Excellent tour guide
Excellent tour guide. Was flexible enough to modify our schedule for some small things the group wanted to see. Highly reccomend small bus tour because they can get to more places that a large bus can’t. Plus you are only waiting on a small group of people.

Absolute trip of our lifetime!
We recently went on Vagabonds Driftwood Ring of Kerry trip and it was sooo much fun. I recommend everyone going to Ireland to take this small group tour. My sisters/husbands all loved it!

Driftwood Magic!
My experience on the driftwood tour was truly amazing! All of the attractions on the tour were well thought out and meaningful. Our driver Jason was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. I would definitely take the trip again and would recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to everyone at vagabond tours who made my family‘s trip truly unforgettable!

A thoroughly satisfying time. It begins with the small van and group-size, more welcoming and friendly. We all quickly became acquainted with each other. We liked the blend of destinations, some more obscure than others. Our guides (they split the tour between them) were very personable, well-informed, skillful, humorous, and brought different qualities to the journey. A big well done to them both. There was some improvisation, surprises they called them, and they were some of the most memorable stops. Taking a break in Dingle for two nights was a nice pause. I think we particularly enjoyed staying in the castle our final night. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vagabond to anyone looking to experience a rewarding slice of this lovely country.

Best Guide ever!
Everyone from our first call to our final goodbyes was so engaging and pleasant. When we hit a snag with our arrival they helped make sure we didn't miss a beat. The lodging was grand and all of our stops were like visiting friends. Best history lessons ever. Our tour mates are now friends. Special thanks to Vaughn - the Best Host/Guide Ever. We have already recommended them to friends. Hope to return someday.
