I’m very unsure why UWorld received such low scores. Just wanted to show my appreciation to this company because I bought the two month subscription and just passed my NCLEX. It was so extremely helpful for my LVN to RN transition.

Exceptionally worse customer service. Used this qbank as I trusted it and bought it many times. Experienced technical faults, instead of resolving the issue they blocked my access, something that I paid for. Kept reaching them out, but they never answered. Pathetic!

They spend all their money on marketing... There are fewer questions in the test bank than advertised, with many answers without explanation. It's the worst product on the market at a slightly cheaper price; not recommended.

Despite having a very costly subscription and renewing this. The customer service is completely unhelpful. When I reached out to them to explain the search functionality is not working on my account and always shows a blank page, the response was “it works we can see results from our end” I repeatedly replied saying I cannot see any search results for used questions and it seems I cannot get any help at all with pre formatted responses that are completely unhelpful.

I’m using the online curriculum for exam study. On iPhone and iPad the view constantly clicks up or down half a page. Constantly while I’m trying to read the page is moving. I contacted customer support and they were very unhelpful. After a long battle, they had me send a video of the issue. They responded telling me they had never seen this problem before and ended the conversation. I tried again later and got the same results with support. I paid almost $300 for access to a book with buggy usability. Getting through 700+ pages of highly technical subject matter, needing to reference graphs and charts constantly has been a nightmare. Unfortunately there is no other option besides Uworld to view the curriculum as they switched from Wiley to Uworld this year.

Also note, the above problem is on the website viewer. This problem doesn’t occur on the Uworld reader app, but the app does not remember which page you’re on. It’s basically like you’re opening up a PDF of the book for the first time, every time.

Terrible content with clear lack of effort on their part. They don't update the course (or at least make a note of changes in process) and expect the subscriber to make sure things are correct. For example, many law changes. Some were reflected in the physical book but NOT updated on the video lectures. Customer service was not able to give a timeline saying that it takes a lot time to record videos. No effect on the company's part to ensure that these changes are notated in the video course notes/updates.

Their exam questions also have the worst answers. Most answer explanations DO NOT explain why questions are correct or incorrect. Many times, the answer is just to refer to the book chapter X, Y, Z. Also those chapters really do not actually contain anything useful. For example, question about IV to PO conversion said to refer to chapter 4, but chapter 4 doesn't say anything about IV to PO conversions.

They also say to refer to their NAPLEX book a lot in the question explanations. They expect you to purchase their NAPLEX course/book and will refuse to provide proper explanation for their question bank.

All of these people leaving negative reviews for Uworld are tripping. I used only Uworld to study for my NCLEX-PN and passed on my first attempt. Uworld does a great job of replicating what the NCLEX is like and the type of questions they ask. I also really appreciate the rationales it provides as well. Don't get me wrong, you 100% have to put in the work to pass any test you're studying for-- Uworld isn't just going to hand it to you. You have to have the basic knowledge already, and Uworld assists in deepening that understanding so you can test more efficiently. I have recommended Uworld to a lot of my classmates when I was in nursing school and continue to recommend it to current nursing students

If i can give them a rating lower than 1 i would, they acquired Wiley Efficient Learning for CMA and their service is bad, here is a few issues:
- you can no longer post questions to instructors to het feedback on certain items
- i contacted them regarding inquires about questions on the test bank that i needed help with and took them 2 weeks to get back to me with a reply that their content team may or may not reach out and suggested to use their facebook page to post questions and get the answers from other users (i am not even on facebook)
-if a question is flagged and you retake they will automatically remove the flag
- if you’re taking a lesson assessment and would like to retake the incorrect questions from the same window, you will need to go to QBank and create a test which is weird.
- if you are using the “customize” study plan, for test bank assessment a lesson will include questions from other sections/topics that you didn’t study yet and would have some questions repeated in the same test.
-when the course was shifted to Uworld none of the preciously completes assignments were populated
Overall a very bad experience and don’t recommend.

I bought the subscription for CMT level 1 with physical textbook and ebook. CAD$444. Two days later the order shipped and i tried to cancel before it was even delivered. They said they would give me $50 store credit if i returned the book. Do not do business. Scam company. Buy text off Amazon.

Uworld does not deliver on its promises. They promised unlimited access until exams were passed. However, they did not maintain their promise. After you request an extension of access, they are requiring you to pay more. Save yourself the money and headache and find other more reputable businesses to deal with.

Overall, the product quality and customer service I've had from UWorld, as a user, have been absolutely horrible. I highly discourage ANY studier from using the service. Find an alternative.

Detail: I was studying for a financial exam using the Wiley Efficient Learning modules. At the start of this month, however, all of Wiley's educational materials were discontinued and replaced by their acquirer's (UWorld) study material. The test bank I wanted to buy, which Wiley sold for $150, has been discontinued and replaced with a single product UWorld sells for $700+. I submitted an inquiry on the UWorld website asking how I could purchase the original Wiley test bank, which is still listed on the Wiley website as available, but I have not received a response in the past two weeks, despite multiple follow ups. This is worrying because I was planning to use the test bank to prepare for my exam date, which is in a couple weeks. I finally found UWorld's phone number (972 433 9616 or 972 887 3293) and called in, but was told they are unwilling to honor Wiley's original test bank price, so I'd have to purchase the full UWorld $700 package to access review questions. This is particularly frustrating because I already purchased the Wiley course material (excluding questions) for a couple hundred dollars, so I don't need UWorld's duplicative set of study materials for another $700. Overall the service has been exceptionally poor, and UWorld's profit motive is putting me in a tough spot: pay $700 I don't have for duplicative study materials (+ the review questions I need), or don't review practice questions and jeopardize failing my test in a couple weeks, although I've already paid hundreds to register for the exam and purchase other study materials.

Summary: Do not use them if you want an educational company who prioritizes your success, if you want timely customer service, or if you want incremental study materials because you have other materials from another source. Find another provider.

Used it for the nclex rn. The exam was nothing like it in Canada. Failed miserably. They wouldn’t give me my money back and I spent over a grand.

So I paid nearly $500 for their subscription for USMLE STEP 1, and due to some reason, I had to change my email address within the uworld account. This step was totally allowed by uworld as it is only possible if I confirm the change via the previous email.

Anyways 2 days later, they deactivate my account saying that "There is a change of ownership".

Their customer service is worst. So bad that they do not even reply me anymore, they ignore my emails on purpose. They're very selfish and there is no way you could ever reason with them. I told them that I am willing to provide any form of evidence or proof to ensure there is no change in ownership.

I have my step 1 scheduled in less than 2 months and why would I ever change the ownership of my account at such critical time?

They have no regard of anyone's future, I am literally lost for words that hoe could they be so selfish. I have been trying to contact them for more than 10 days now and they are not even replying.

If there is anyone at uworld reading this, I would really hope you have a conscience and just check your systems one time, I'm sure this is a mistake at your end. Please reactivate my account.

I used Uworld along with the USMLE Success Academy course and it was the perfect combination. I highly recommend doing this combo when preparing for Step 1.

It seems that I am the first to leave a review of Uworld and I have no idea why because everyone I know that graduated nursing school used this to pass NCLEX. This is the ONLY resource you need to pass the NCLEX. The goal is to build yourself up to 75 questions a day using their question bank and reviewing rationales for questions you answered incorrectly as well as correctly. It is NOT about the score that you get on these tests, but the understanding you have of why you are getting answers right or wrong. Uworld trains your mind to make educated guesses on NCLEX. NCLEX is completely random and is precisely based on educated nursing judgement (making educated guesses)! The rationales on Uworld are the most in depth out of any other resource I tried (UWorld > Kaplan). I studied 60-75 questions a day for about 6 weeks and passed on the first try. You can too. You ONLY need UWorld, no other supplemental materials!
