Caring company
I chose this company to buy UV protective clothing due to their backstory, which you can find on their website. They exceeded my expectations in customer service when I had an order issue. I had quick responses and above and beyond assistance to resolve my concern. I’ll definitely shop with them in the future. I wanted to let others know I had a great experience so you can feel comfortable ordering from them. I wouldn’t feel safe or comfortable using UPF clothes or gloves from just any site because they aren’t guaranteed to be UPF which is the entire point. I was surprised to see a cute UV detecting keychain in my order as a bonus. You can test your clothes with it if you wanted. They stand by the products they’re selling because they care about sun safety and it shows.

Best customer service I’ve had
I had gotten a couple of items as a gift and I had already purchased the same items. So, I needed to do a return. I was having a hard time understanding how the process worked and Erin in customer support was so nice and patient and went above and beyond to help me. In addition, I love the UV SKINZ that I got. Incorrect address rectified

I'd actually leave a 3.5 but... The rating of 3.7 feels more accurate than the 4.7 on their website. I tried to leave a review there and could not find how to do that.
Anyway, I like the flesh color and it feels secure on my arm. I bought the s/m sun sleeves. I am quite disappointed with the level of opaqueness. I can see the light coming through when I hold it up to the ceiling light. My 50+ sun shirts allow significantly less sun. Disappointing, as I need strong protection.
I'm thinking the return will be difficult, as just putting a review was impossible.

We want to reassure you that even though the fabric may appear lighter or allow light through when held up, our sun sleeves are independently tested and rated UPF 50+, meaning they block over 98% of harmful UV rays. The human eye responds to visible radiation and not to UV radiation, so any visible light passing through a garment is not an indication of harmful UV rays. That said, we completely understand that visual opacity can affect how confident someone feels in their protection, and we always strive to provide that to our valued customers.
We’re also sorry for the frustration you experienced while trying to leave a review, which should never feel difficult or discouraging, and we will be sure to pass this information along to our website team so we can look at ways to improve this process on our site. Swimsuits still rocking in second season!
I’m SO impressed with the swimsuits I bought my granddaughters (6&8) for their birthdays in May 2022. They are wearing them for a second season and the suits still look like new! They swim at the cottage, pool swimming lessons, and in my pool. The fabric, seams and construction are all top notch. I bought suits for my younger grandchildren this year and I will definitely buy more in the future. Great value and, more importantly, protection for little ones.

Outstanding customer service, excellent product. Recently, I needed to travel to Florida to clean out and sell my mother's house. As I'm recovering from orthopedic surgery, I knew I wanted to do my therapy exercises in the pool, but I wanted a more movement-friendly swimsuit. I found the perfect solution at UV Skinz, an Active Swim Jammerz bottom and a racerback swim tank top. I was facing a complicated shipping issue, so I called customer service and when I explained the dilemma, it was solved instantly, easily, cheerfully, and successfully. The customer service person I spoke to went above and beyond to make sure my odd situation was accommodated. The suit arrived within a day and it fit perfectly and was impressively well made. I want more UV Skinz sun-friendly gear. I am eager to continue doing business with this company!

These maybe awesome swimsuits for lake or ocean swimming BUT absolutely NOT for swimming pools. Both bottoms and tops I’ve purchased within a few weeks lost all their shape, elasticity and the fabric faded dramatically. Literally the swim bottoms the crawch was drooping to my knees.

I ordered a navy blue skort to wear on our vacation. I was shipped a white with turquoise stripe skort, which I would never wear. I do not have time before the vacation to get an exchange. I am returning it, but am being charged about $7 in restocking fee. Not my fault, but I have to pay.

Great company
Great company. I ordered a white swim shrug, and sadly after the first swim it turned yellow. They were open to investigate why this happened in the first place, but also easily sent out a new one in a different colour if I wanted to. Waiting for it to arrive now, but I think this solution to my problem is more than great and really thoughtful. Much appreciated and will definitely purchase something else if needed in the future!

FABULOUS products AND customer service
I am completely blown away by the quality and style of these swim suits! They are stunning for a middle aged to older woman who no longer looks great in tiny swim suits. I bought 2 and they’re SOOOO flattering!! And the quality is over the top wow. But best of all I had to call customer service today on an order problem and they were beyond helpful. More companies should take a page out of UVSkinz book on customer care. Like them so much just ordered $800 of outdoor clothes before we start a summer of water sports. I highly recommend.

Reviews might be quite filtered
Bought UVSkinz face shields and they were inferior to others I have from another company, and even from ones I've gotten as freebies at race events. UVSkinz are thin, overly stretchy and lack decent finishing. Didn't stay up or even on my head as a headband. Reviewed them accordingly and have gotten long emails - that's plural - about it because they are in some kind of denial that anybody would not love them. Customer service rep said she wanted to deal with this internally and not publish the review. Wow.

Great if you want a sunburn
Here i am, stupidly going on an hour long hike with about 30 minutes of direct sun, thinking because I have on a uvskins hoodie with a shirt underneath me and my vitiligo should be ok. Here's me at home later, wondering why my chest hurts then realizing I got a good sunburn right on my vitiligo spots. More than a little under impressed. I'd attach a photo but I can't figure out how to do so.
