The term "customer service" does NOT apply
I called customer service to ask for a pin to move my domain to a different provider (I have another domain and I want to have everything in one spot). I have correspondence from this company confirming they hold the domain & that I owe them 4278.25 for 5 years . When I called customer service, I was asked the name, I provided it, I was told NO we don't have it, I responded with yes you do you sent me an Invoice. He said No we Don't and hung up. Rudest company to deal with ever. Also their Invoice suggest they are a Canadian Company (Maple Leaf next to their name) They are not. They are an American Company! So Canadians you know what to do!!!

"⚠️ Scam Alert: Fraudulent Domain Renewal Notice from UTIL.COM or DOMAINSERVICES.US
I just received a letter from a company stating that their website is: util.com However, when I type it in, it redirects to this other website: domainservices.us, which is obviously a scam. They claim I owe $265 to renew my domain name (even though my domain is registered with Shopify). The check is supposed to be sent to this address:
Domain Name Services

What a fraud! These folks send you what appears to be an invoice in the mail (postal mail) and it looks like your domain name registration renewal, but if you read it carefully you will see that it says "now is the time to transfer and renew your (domain) name from your current Registrar to Domain Name Services" and so technically it's not really a scam because they do tell you what will happen if you send them the $265 that they're asking for. However, it is incredibly deceptive and whoever is behind this company obviously has no morals nor a conscience.
Obviously this scheme is meant to prey upon those who are unaware of how domain registration renewal normally works or those that do not pay attention to details. You should know the name of your current domain Registrar and you should also rest assured that your current Registrar will contact you when it comes time to renew your domain. This company is NOT your current Registrar and although they are contacting you, they're actually trying to trick you into switching to them and away from the company that you had originally done business with when you first registered your domain. I find this behaviour to be reprehensible!
The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) should shut down predatory companies like this. Here is the postal address of this company...
Domain Name Services
PO BOX 7211
RPO Warden Centre
Markham, ON L3R 5V1
If you try to visit their website (util.com) it immediately forwards to domainservices.us which appears to be based in New Jersey.
This company obviously mines data from the public whois database to find their victims. Don't become a victim of this predatory company! They are amoral and shameless.
Oops! I almost forgot to mention that the $265 they want for five years of domain registration is about twice as much as it should cost. Find yourself a reputable domain registrar and you should be able to get five years of domain registration for about $130 [Canadian Dollars] or perhaps even a little bit less than that.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAM. They know exactly what they are doing... hoping you, a busy business owner, don't realize who you purchase your domain name through (often GoDaddy or whatever website service hosts your website). They need to get a real job and make an honest living. Clearly have no conscience.
