100% zou ik Urban Mutts aanraden voor iedereen die een opvang zoekt. Aan alles zie je dat ze liefde hebben voor de hondjes.

25 juli 2025, is mijn hondje, Beer, naar Urban Mutts geweest. Tijdens onze rondtrip wilde we een dagje naar Londen om de musea te bekijken en daarna uiteten te gaan bij een restaurant waar geen honden welkom waren.

Van te voren heb ik lang moeten zoeken naar een opvang in Londen die een hondje voor dag wilde aannemen, Urban Mutts was in het contact heel vriendelijk en duidelijk. Voorafgaand moest ik een formulier invullen waarin vragen stonden over de verzorging van Beer en of hij eventuele allergieën heeft. Daarnaast wordt er gevraagd of ze de hond mogen uitlaten en of de hond los zou mogen lopen tijdens een wandeling in een park, ze houden dus echt met alles rekening.
Ze wilde ook foto's van zijn vaccinaties, zodat ze zeker wisten dat hij en alle andere hondjes veilig zouden zijn.

In de eerste instantie wilde ik graag dat Beer van 14:00 tot 20:00 daar zou verblijven, het was echter nodig om een teaser sessie te boeken, dit is een moment waarop nieuwe hondjes kunnen wennen aan de situatie. Dus heb ik Beer gebracht van 12:00 tot 20:00.

Het is even zoeken, omdat ze in de parkeergarage van Westfield mall zitten, maar toen wij aankwamen werden wij vriendelijk ontvangen. Een medewerker kwam Beer ophalen en waar hij normaal niet goed is met vreemde, was deze dame direct oké.
Hij ging mee en ik kon even via een one-way raam naar hem kijken. Hij was wat verlegen, maar ik zag direct dat ze echt hart hebben voor de hondjes en hun uiterste best doen.

Toen wij Beer weer kwamen ophalen, was hij super blij en kreeg hij een ingevuld rapport mee (zie foto). Als dat niet uitstraalt dat ze echt van honden houden en de hondjes de beste dag ooit willen bezorgen dan weet ik het ook niet meer.

De rekening kwam achter en de prijs voor de service die ze leverde was zelfs minder dan ik had verwacht.

Kort om ik zou Beer zeker mocht het ooit nodig zijn nog een keer met een gerust hart bij Urban Mutts brengen.

Urban Mutts is paws down the best doggy daycare in the area! The facility is filled with endless opportunities for play and socialization. The staff here are truly top-notch - they're not just caretakers, they're genuine dog lovers who go above and beyond to ensure every pup has a tail-wagging good time. My dog always happily runs inside, and oftentimes, doesn't want to leave if I show up early! I appreciate the daily updates in the form of 'doggy reports' and, sometimes, even photos they provide, giving me peace of mind while I'm away. Whether it's for a few hours or a full day, I trust Urban Mutts to keep my dog happy, healthy, and entertained. Highly recommend to any pet parent looking for a safe and enjoyable environment for their furry family members!

Booked tickets for this Friday gone but was unable to make it so emailed asking if I could attend on Saturday instead. I am still waiting for a response.

JJ came home today after his first groom so clean and smelt lovely. His nails were cut just right and he enjoyed his groom.

I took my puppy in for a puppy groom. The groomer nipped his willy, never told me. I discovered it the following day and complained. No response. I then went to present the vets bill, which was paid. 10 days in and no explanation as to what happened or a response to my email. No refund of what was a bad groom other than his willing being nipped.

Dedicated staff and great business owner. Have been sending my French bulldog there for over a year and they’ve been great. It’s been so helpful to have a place to leave our pup when we have to travel and can’t bring him along but also for activities during the day. It’s helped our dog socialise with other dogs and people too. He’s grown in confidence and always has a great time while there. Highly recommended!

They are amazing the staff are so loving and caring to my dog 🐶 I could not recommend them enough well worth every penny. Well done and keep up the good work as you are very valuable to us dog owners

Went back after giving a negative review because we were always happy with the quality of Benji’s groom and we were not disappointed, both staff and management were excellent, it was explained what the problem was last time and both us and Benji received an excellent service will definitely be returning

Love Urban Mutts, above all their values and love of dogs is evident.
I have been using them for about 18 months and find them to be warm friendly, flexible and so convenient.
I have 2 small rescue dogs who are nervous around other dogs, Urban Mutts have really helped them be more relaxed and less anxious which has been amazing for me.
The business model is really interesting for busy working people with all the services they are brining into play.
I work in the hospitality sector and there are some parallels with this business, getting a stable and committed workforce has been so challenging since Covid, any business operating with un-social hours has struggled. I admire Greg's creative thinking in finding smart solutions to this challenge and have watched how he has surrounded himself with people and organisations through partnership to resolve and enhance the offering.
I am a regular user of the facilities and am grateful to have such a facility on my door step.
Relationships like this are about give and take, they are very much the givers in my relationship with them.

Best Grooming Ever! My 2 year old Maltese, Matilda, has never looked so beautiful! I have had a Bichon Frise, Mini Poodle and now my little Maltese. Lucy has done the most perfect cut ever...we can't stop taking photos of her! Thank you, Lucy :-)

Absolutely flawless business, people and dogs (that’s you Bruce and Jasper)!

The team here put me at complete ease when first leaving my beloved and very needy pup in for some trials.

Since then, she’s been wagging and dragging me in each week. They make sure she enjoys being an unapologetic bouncy dog, playing and joining in with all seasonal events!

They stock the loveliest dog treats, genuinely care about each dog that walks in and are just so so kind.

Excellent experience. We have left our 11 month old Frenchie with them a few times. Once for a week when she was about 5 months old and more recently for a week. The first time they had only just opened and were definitely ironing out their service but the staff were 100% in love with her and it showed. We felt that she was really well looked after and loved being there so much so that when we bought her the second time she was beside herself with excitement. The second time the service was much improved and check in was efficient and we had confidence in leaving her there. The rooms that the dogs sleep in are immaculate too - I’d sleep in them! We haven’t used the grooming service yet as being short haired she doesn’t need a lot. They have offered to clean her teeth, clip her nails etc, so we will probably do that too. The grooming room did look good though when we visited.

Very helpful staff and really happy our boy (cocker spaniel) gets to play throughout the day under supervision. Handy getting a wash too whilst he’s there. Definitely happy we found the place!

Depressing place, it’s like a dog detention centre. Staff are rude and clueless too :/

After reading nice reviews about Urban Mutts, I got in contact to get to know them, planning to leave my pup for a week-stay in the future.
Every time I spoke to them they gave me conflicting information in regards to the initial trial, which resulted in several emails and calls.
Finally I asked to book the night trial for a Saturday, which initially they said it wasnt possible. I explained that I couldnt make it on weekdays, and asked for an exception. They then CONFIRMED they could book a nigh trial for my pup on a Saturday, two weeks from then. They asked for the vaccination proof to complete the booking, which I sent via email, and they again CONFIRMED the booking.
The day before the booking, Oct 29th, I emailed them to ask what time I could bring my puppy. To my huge surprise and disappointment, the same person (Tamara) who had CONFIRMED EVERYTHING BEFORE, then said "Unfortunately we are unable to hold any overnight trials over the weekend" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? SHE COMPLETELY IGNORED THE CONVERSATION WE HAD, THE MANY EMAILS WHICH I STILL HAVE WITH HER CONFIRMATIONS! I asked her if she had just forgotten about our conversations, and she just said: SORRY, WE ARE FULLY BOOKED! No more explanations were provided.
I FELT COMPLETELY DISRESPECTED AND DISCRIMINATED.

Everything about urban mutts is fantastic, the staff, the service and the quality of the work. I have a large chow chow who gets his grooming done there and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

Urban Mutts - a dogs dream come true!
We have now left our 9 month old chow puppy in the care of Barry and his wonderful team twice - one stay was for over a month! This place is actual dog heaven, our pup is a kind, gentle soul who expects the best and UM never fail to deliver. The team love and care for our dog as if he was their own - he just loves staying there. On his second stay there was a small health issue that Barry and the team dealt with absolutely perfectly, took the worry away for me and treated him with love and provided the treatment that he needed. I would not leave my puppy anywhere else. Thank you so much UM! xxx

I’m not really happy after today’s visit and it will probably be the last.
I took my dog there who has been there before and my pup it was her first time. Apparently they was quite energetic with each mother, which is true. But normally after correction they behave. Thank Nate as they separated my dog and let the pup stay with the other dogs. Why I am annoyed is that I pay the amount I pay as I expect the staff to be able to manage behaviours as I would when they are home. They are obedient and do listen and understand commands… even the puppy. I was planning on leaving them overnight whilst I go away, but there is no way I would that if it means my dog is segregated because they cannot cope with to playful dogs in a group situation. They have both been in group situations and have calmed down with consistent instructions I’m not a trained dog handler. What exactly am I paying for. I was so shocked I wish I spoke up there and then.

It is a pity as I have had no issues until then, maybe it was the handler as she didn’t leave me with confidence when I left them

Thank you for your response, but she wasn’t separated into another pack. She was left on her own “so she could still see the other dogs and she seemed ok with it”. I could of left her at home if I know that’s how trained dog handlers deal with situations such as this. This wasn’t explained prior that this may happen if that was a situation, so transparency missed. You put need put something on your website regarding hyperactive dogs as the review me had more serious consequences. I also confirmed they do play at home and didn’t mention anything about them being a handful. They are easily corrected, with a simple stop command.

Finally I could of just been called and given the decision to pick them up or separate it’s not that difficult

My wife and I recently left our dog at Urban Mutts for a week. Dropping him off we received a warm welcome by the staff and loved the facilities. On the second day of the stay, my wife and I received an update about him - everything was going smoothly and the dog was settling in. We felt reassured that our boy was in safe hands and was having fun. However, after picking him up, my wife noticed that the dog was severely injured. He had a deep puncture in his eye. We contacted the staff at Urban Mutts numerous times to receive an explanation to the injury. They kept saying an investigation was underway, however we never received a callback and, therefore, an answer. Our veterinary was very concerned with the dog's health as there was a serious risk that the eye wouldn’t heal and he could lose it. Still with no answer from Urban Mutts, we approached the staff again. The answer we were desperately waiting for turned out to be that our dog was hyperactive and the carers didn't notice anything to be alarmed about.

This is unacceptable. As dog owners, we expect our pet to be treated with utmost care - Urban Mutts failed to deliver. Disregarding the fact that we had to pay exorbitant vet fees that totalled more than the dog's stay, experiences like this should never happen to any owner.

We have yet to receive a solution from Urban Mutts. If you're a loving pet owner, please read this carefully and consider it the next time you choose to leave the dog with them. Our strong opinion is that the carers do not manage to supervise all pets equally given the large amount of dogs under their daily care.

P.S. Thankfully, our dog's eye is healing and he is feeling better now. We think it's safe to say we are never leaving him at Urban Mutts again.
