I ordered camomile plants from this company and they arrived on 2nd July,perfectly packaged so they couldn't move in transit and be damaged. The plants were really healthy and I also got an extra plant which was a lovely surprise and a very nice touch.
I have contacted the owners with queries which were promptly answered,prior to buying.
I will definitely be buying more herbs and highly recommend this company

I’m on my third order of herbs from Urban herbs so so pleased with they service. Beautiful fresh plants wonderfully packed with such great care. i started using this company a while ago and recently purchased a Bee selection of herbs for a friend who has a Bee Hive right next to her herb garden. The plants arrived in perfect condition and I have placed an order for 2 selections and am looking forward to them arriving. Cannot fault this company and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Ordered 3 trailing rosemary and a french tarragon. Received also a lovely little lemon mint. All plants healthy, strong, well packaged and moist. Arrived within a few days of ordering. Very impressed, will buy from them again

Everything arrived really healthy, well packaged and a plant that I had not ordered but had looked at was thrown in as a freebie. The plants have potted on well and my garden is smelling amazing.

on the plus side the plants arrived in good condition, well packaged, all had a good root ball , there was a free one, Thai mint that I really didn't have room for but was a nice gesture. The price was fair but the most disappointing thing was that the Vietnamese coriander didnt taste of coriander to me, it just tasted a little peppery, it may improve we will see but the plants I received were a decent size so dont know how much it will change as it grows. It was the main reason I bought the herbs as ordinary coriander is so fickle and difficult to grow . I don't know if I would buy here again as i feel that the various flavours were maybe a little over hyped in the videos I watched.

We are a team of volunteers tending a wildlife garden in a country park. We ordered these for a little kitchen garden demo, not having used Urban Herbs before. We are fortunate to have a very well qualified expert on best gardening practice in our team. I can report that she was absolutely delighted with the condition of the plants both above and below soil level. All really healthy and vibrant. All plants were well labelled, most with care instructions. The packaging and delivery were excellent. We'd definitely use this company again.

From ordering to delivery, everything was perfect. I've had bad experiences from other suppliers. UH made me really feel like my order was important. Unrushed but on time and perfectly presented

I really wanted to leave a fab review as I’m all for family run enterprises. However, although the plants were very healthy they were very small and with little root mass. ( less than half the depth of the pot) I think they are very young specimens. They would be better to grow them on a bit more before selling. Packaged well but they had all fallen out of their pots during transit. Not good value for money in my opinion. I got a free plant - a nice touch but it was of no use to me.

The website is so easy and clean to navigate around. Vast selection of amazing herbs to choose from... I never knew there were so many different scents to choose from. Totally recommend the Lemonade Thyme!

The plants themselves were in perfect, healthy condition, and each with their truly amazing scent.

I ordered 12 plants and they all arrived well packaged in a timely fashion.
Each plant was in really good condition and smelled wonderful, they also included a gift of lettuce seeds and 10% off my next order which I will make use of soon.

Firstly, super happy they’d deliver to the Orkney Isles ( many companies won’t) Despite a longer delivery time and the plants having a fair rumble about (many were out of their pots) once
potted up as they had well established root balls they all revived well and look like they will survive, 12hrs after their delivery they are looking great.

As my local garden centre only stocks a very limited range of herbs, i searched online for a supplier.
After a few days Urban Herbs & a few others kept appearing on my social media feeds.
Having read many of the positive comments on UH's posts and viewed the range on offer i placed a small order of 7 plants.

I received my order earlier this week.

Sorry to say i was slightly underwhelmed with some of the plants i received, even though there was a surprise free plant.
This was a Mint.
I had no Mint plants in my order. Unfortunately i have nowhere to put it as they can be invasive, and I have no room for more pots or anyone to give it to, so sadly it was disposed of. A nice gesture all the same.

The plants i actually ordered were well packaged, although the plant labels had fallen out of their pots.
Luckily, i was able to determine which belonged to which.

3 of the pots just had net plug plants pushed into them, with no root growth into the fresh potting compost.
So they are in fact, just plug plants.

For the price I payed, the least I was expecting were well rooted plants.
Perhaps I ordered at the wrong time of year, during the start of their potting on period.
If that's the case then either tell customers that, offer for sale actual plug plants or say they are out of stock.
It's disingenuous to pass one off as the other.

Having said that, they looked OK so i planted them in my herb planter.
Only time will tell as to how well they get on.

Would I order again from this company, probably not.

I have received my lavender plants 20 in total and 1 free which was kind, i was so excited for them to arrive. The plants are strong and healthy and had travelled well. All the packaging was recyclable which was an added bonus. They are now all watered and planted out, now I can sit back and watch them grow. I found the website by accident, so happy that I did. The whole process from beginning to end was extremely easy, very impressed. I will certainly be ordering again from Urban Herbs and would recommend having a browse through their website, very interesting and lots of unusual herbs.

Excellent quality plants, superbly well packaged (no plastic) - having ordered plants from a number of different suppliers recently I would really like to compliment you on the design of your packaging; dispatched speedily, and a free (plant) gift included, thank you!

The website is also very good, easy to use, and the seller's communications are good.
