The experience closing with UpEquity was a positive experience. The staff went above and beyond to help my client with her closing. Positive interactions throughout. The client and I were very pleased with the communication and attention to detail.

UpEquity has a great program offering the ability to Move First before selling. I really enjoyed working with Daren and Elena. They can get the job done and know what they are doing. The only thing I think they could improve on is being more available not just weekdays, but weekends too. A majority of real estate deals take place over the weekend and having weekend support is crucial as a real estate agent. It would also help if UpEquity gave agents online capabilities to generate a rough estimate equity advance sheet.
Amazing customer service.
I have consistently been amazed by the level of customer service during my transactions with UpEquity. I have to say that Dominique, Korin and Darlene have been consummate professionals who's customer service motto has always been sync with my own. I cannot imagine working with anyone else
Poor communication, no idea what they're doing.
These guys don't seem to know what they're doing. I'm on leased land which is a simply process to navigate, but they got lost after nearly a month costing us thousands of dollars and possibly losing the home of our dreams.
If they didn't string us along for a month with affirmation everything was fine and pre-approved, we would have moved elsewhere. It ate up 30 days of our escrow for nothing. Then they wouldn't explain why they rescinded their offer and claimed they never pre-approved in the first place, which they did. It would have been helpful I don't know, maybe 3 weeks prior.
A complete waste of time & money, steer clear and use another reputable lender! These guys are a complete joke.

Elena was great!
Elena was great, thorough, and super professional! There was a slight hiccup early on, regarding liens on the house, but she did her best to in trying to rectify the situation despite it being out of her control.

I'd never heard of this program before but was pleasantly surprised how well it served our mutual client and how smooth the process went!
Overall Good, but could be Great with some Tweaks
Overall, this program allowed my client to make the move from current home to new home, which was a huge blessing. It got complicated at the end and there was a lack of communication that ultimately got resolved, but for the cost that the client pays, I think the customer service could use some improvement. Missed closings are never fun and mistakes do happen, so it’s alright in general, but it could’ve been smoother and correspondence/accessibility could have been at a higher level. I would likely use this program for a client again, but I will be more involved personally on the bridge loan aspect of the transaction in the future.

Everybody that I worked with was great. I started off with Amanda and she walked me through it. It was the first time I've done this with a customer. There was a lot of communication obviously.
Then I started dealing with Elena. She was also very good. I love your product and I plan to get you more customers. I'm also talking it up within Lennar.

Missed The Ark
This was. It a good experience. The lack of communication and timely response and sending the funds to the wrong account led the buyer to missing closing date and impacted the review from my client giving us a 3.5 instead of a 5. She had a great experience with my team and this gave her a sour taste in her mouth. In addition it impacted the reputation with our realtors, one being the listing agent who I was targeted. We didn’t get a chance to work with Dominique this time around and that in itself was obvious.

Elena Pesoli was amazing. She interacted throughout the entire process to ensure nothing was dropped. All day long, would go with UpEquity over similar programs...all day long!

Up Equity made it so simple for my clients to move into their new home first and sell their old house later. Simple and straight forward process. Thank you!
UpEquity helped us when we needed it
UpEquity helped us with a bridge loan until our old home sold out of state. From the start they were upfront with all the fees but once the process began I continued to get mixed messages from their title company and from them. I don't feel anyone was communicating I was told my "expedited fee" would be waive and my customer service rep didn't know anything about it and then it did not get expedited. I paid a fee just to move the date up by 2 days. Then when my closing came I reviewed my documents the night before and found out I had to pay money the next day at closing and nobody had told me I owed money. Once I asked about it they informed me it was with the title company and my lender would reimburse me at a later date. The entire process could've been better if there was better communication overall. Lack of communication amongst all parties was the overall downfall of our experience, I hope they find a way to improve it because it can help many families in this housing economy. It was not all bad just needs improvement.
