Been using UpdraftPlus for 5+ Years, always gets the job done, backup and restore, site migrate/carbon copy, you name it. Recently had an issue restoring a backup for my site from a remote(G drive) successful backup, reached out to the support team and Vanessa helped me over the period of days to get back my site up and running to its previous stable state. This is a great app and plugin.

We've used Updraft for as long as I can remember as our go to choice for manual backups before updating, incremental updates throughout the day and spinning up clones of staging sites quickly. Great tool with a fantastic support team.

We have been using UpdraftPlus since 2016, to backup, migrate, and restore our client sites. While no plugin is perfect, it's a lot better than other backup solutions. UpdraftPlus has been an invaluable tool for backup recovery when things go wrong... and you never know when those times are needed! Also, we have found the support to be responsive within 1-2 days and always solve any issues we do have.

I've been using UpdraftPlus since 2014 on 60 sites and it's an incredible value for the price. Set up and forget it's running, until the day you need it and presto, your site is back.

Quite simply, Updraftplus saved my butt. I had been using it for years without much thought. I have a very basic website, but it's critical to my business. Unexpectedly, my website went down... at the worst of times. My host was telling me there was nothing they could do as all the files were lost. I remembered that I have UDP supposedly backing things up. I was skeptical since I really never tinkered with it... I had no idea of it was actually doing what it purports to do. Rather than messing it with myself, I paid a very reasonable price to UDP to log into my website and restore it. I was up and running within an hour. Truly a breath of fresh air and such a relief!

I am using updraftplus now since almost 4 years (July 2020)I am very satisfied. It's easy to set up and handle, makes reliable backups on schedule and whenever something is updated. Whenever something goes wrong for example a plug-in update it's easy to restore the version before. For me as a web designer it's very useful to make clones for testing purposes and to migrate my developing environment to life sites. Thank you for developing and maintaining such a great tool.

Only difficult usage - and this as the experience a paying user.

I've never had to look at another website backup plugin after having come across Updraft. It has everything you'd need: easy backups to different types of backup options like GDrive, FTP servers, Dropbox, local, etc.

What's more important is the excellence with which it restores the website. This is usually a challenging part for website backup plugins but Updraft does it seamlessly.

The solutions work quite well and as long as it worked, I was happy.

However, I decided to scale down my business (retirement) and cancelled some of my subscriptions. What I expected was that my subscriptions would continue until the end of the current subscription period. What happened was, that I was cut off from all services immediately, effectively losing the ability to back up and losing the rest of the subscription period. There was no warning. I would have had subscriptions running for most of this year.

At first contact with support:
- Confirmation that I had been cut off immediately upon cancellation of a subscription (what company does that?)
- I was offered to be paid back the remaining value (do you think this solves the issue?)
- I asked to escalate the issue as I was hoping for a more professional solution
- No response whatsoever from support, also after asking for the status of my request.
- This morning I just got a message that backups were deleted from the system, as I was "over quota".

This is devastating, unprofessional and harming business.

For over 7 years I've been confidently going about my daily life, free of the tragic dread that accompanies the noobs' (and the occasional goofy veteran's) blank screen of death, fraudulent attacks, and the occasional self-inflicted user-error crash. I never stopped to say thanks for this freeing reality!

Thanx! UpdraftPlus. It consistently works and has been called upon many times to save my bacon! The fact that I could overlook the thanks is probably the highest praise I could give. However, I know it feels good to hear it occasionally.

So, there! Let's not get mushy about this or make it a habit. Keep up the awesome performance and stellar delivery of services. BTW, for the noobs, I strongly recommend backing up to two or more cloud locations! UpdraftPlus does this flawlessly.

i just keep coming back to them. every time i think something better comes along, i run into issues and come back to updraft.

Amazing plugin, we purchased 10 licenses just so we can do more config. Very solid, super easy to set up and even easier to activate premium.

The quality of your backup plugin is a question of security.
not only you need to have a scheduled regular backup, that backup should be 100% reliable as well.

I have tested several backup plugins in my 15+ years of experience and only found Updraftplus never disappoint.

I had a unique issue that caused the person helping me (Paul) to dig in deep and spend a lot of time to get to the root cause and find a resolution. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Was not expecting the level of service offered by UpdraftPlus! Kudos all around.
