This is warning to everyone! The updoc site charged me monthly without my permission or confirmation that I subscribed for their service. I only paid one time medical certificate and all of sudden I paid $20 for subscription monthly! I didn’t notice that they taking money from my account for 7 months! I emailed them for a refund but no response! I have no choice but to cancel my card. Terrible!!!

The doctor filled out the referal wrong and getting it corrected seems impossible. It has been a week and a half and numerous false promises that the error will be amended.

Read the fine print! In the hope of claiming my Updoc consultation with Medicare, I have been pursuing a provider number for the doctor that gave me my one minute consultation (it was urgent and I was about to take several children on a holiday and couldn't make an urgent appointment with my own GP). I have only received completely unrelated, AI generated responses from Updoc regarding this request. There is no phone number anywhere. So I dug into the Ts & Cs and of course, the consultation is not claimable. $110. Not claimable through Medicare. When I tried to track down the doctor through an online search, I found she no longer works at the clinics that seem to list her as a current employee, or they have never heard of her! Lots of red flags and warning bells re this service, although they did provide the service I needed at the time.

How quick and easy it is to use

Overcharged.
Was billed for $59.95. That was all good.
Then checked my bank account and they had taken a further $16.61 from my account without authorization.

I used Updoc as I had a chest infection. I described the symptoms and what medication I would need and as long as you provide the right information to them it goes really smoothly and super quick especially for those of you, who don’t have time.

Absolutely useless support. I sent 3 emails over 3 weeks asking for something as simple as a referral email to be resent for a Holter heart rate monitor. I got one reply early on where the person couldn't even find the request form, and then complete silence after that. When you're dealing with a heart rate issue, you'd think someone would have the decency to actually follow up.
On top of that, doctors on the platform can't see what other doctors have noted, blood test results regularly don't get uploaded to the system, and you never see the same doctor twice so important information gets lost every single time. That makes any kind of ongoing or continuous care basically impossible.
I personally waited 3 weeks, with emails either ignored or replied to with generic copy-paste responses, before my results were finally uploaded so they could be reviewed properly.
Honestly, apart from getting a basic sick certificate, this service is completely useless and should be avoided. If you have anything urgent or ongoing, see a GP face to face. Updoc is simply not capable of providing the follow-up and continuity that proper healthcare requires, and in my opinion should not be allowed to operate the way it does. They are putting patients' health at risk.

My certificate arrived very quickly. The cost was extremely reasonable. The convenience of not having to book an appointment with a GP and then go to their rooms was exceptional.

They dont care. Booked at 1 oclock. On website says 9/10 in 2 hours 6 hours later of me waiting with 6-7 requests for an answer. There web site gave me a time of 4-6. After this i emaild 7 times only to get ai responce. 13 at night they say they cant do a simple task.
I work in allied heath and this service is a joke.
Waist of time. Do not use this joke of a scam of service. Waist of time. Just an ai money tree. No care given at all. Although happy for me to give them anouther $10 to be seen. Scam, greedy, hide behond ai.

I got a referral from an updoc doctor. I got told my results were ready and booked a follow up call. The doctor never called and I haven’t been able to get into contact with updoc since. Everytime I email I get an automated response. I still haven’t got those results, which were urgent that is why I used updoc instead of my regular doctor in the first place.

I wanted to discuss test results payed 240 and they never called and just emailed me new test referalls.

And I'm trying to sort it out and there is no human to talk to. They've essentially stolen 240 dollars
