Bunch of crooks!

Like pretty much everyone else, pre-booked a hotel package in good faith & then when I went to make my booking only to find they had gone out of business. No email or contact prior to that from them to let me know. No sign of any refund and no way to contact these people.

No doubt they’ve gone and set up a new company in a new name and are doing the same thing again to other innocent people!

I purchased accommodation for future use on 21st June 2021.
Seeing they closed the business in August it would seem that they were trading while inslovent?
Today I have made claim for my refund.
What chance is there that I will be refunded my AUD366.10????

2 weeks ago I went to book and use my prepaid stay only to find out that Unsold was closed and out of business. Sure would have been nice to know this long ago. Filed for a refund but by all these negative reviews where no one has received a refund for many months it sure looks very doubtful that I will get one. Covid was a problem but Unsold took advantage of it.

I am still waiting for my refund and have heard nothing except that they intend to have all customers refunded over the next 90 days that was over 7 months ago and still have heard nothing regards my refund, I am very angry that I have had no explanation as regards to when I will get my refund

I purchased my hotel stay last year

I purchased my hotel stay last year. When I went to look at booking dates I discovered your no longer operational, with no email explanation. I followed the link requesting my refund in January, 2022. Still no confirmation. It says it will be refunded in 90 days. NOT TRUE!! It is now MAY and still no refund. I am writing to express my unhappiness and request this be address immediately.

Scam

A s….y company! He doesn't even have a phone number! I paid for the hotel two years ago! He says they covid 19 and closed the hotels, but the hotels have been open for 1 year! Everyone says he gives them their money back, but he never returned anything! It's a scam! Covid 19 was used as a pretext to deceive the world!

Late Request for Compensation

Unfortunately I have just discovered that Unsold.com has gone into liquidation, Because of COVID and as we are Seniors we delayed using our booking. The website has now been closed and the only action we can take is to fill in their request for a refund. At this stage the loss of a stay in Canberra is not so much a loss but the fact that we were not notified that they had closed is shameful. Meanwhile we join the queue waiting for compensation. We'll just have to let it go and move on with our lives.

Never received and email from Unsold.com, went to book trip to Charleston, SC to find ccompany has been forced to cease operations. Filled out refund form on Jan 9, 2022 on site page. Have never heard from anyone. Called VIP Booking a couple times and they claim they are not affilated with Unsold.com. To make matters worse credit card dispute denied due to lapse time. Why would I contact credit card company when we were planning on taking trip in given time allowance. Big disappointment and doubt we will every see a refund.

A bunch of crooks. I paid C$422.00 for a ten night stay in London. I was so looking forward to my holiday.
I requsted a refund over six months ago havent heard a word back from them.

Anyone who managed to get their money…

Anyone who managed to get their money back recently?

I just found out about it going into administration, so frustrated they haven't informed anyone. It's been over a year for me since I booked a hotel deal via unsold.com I already filled out the form but haven't received anything back in response, not even an email confirming my form submission.
Just wondering if anyone had any luck recently or is it best to just forget about it and move on?

Hoping for a refund. Very unhappy

Bought for Byron Bay and I only found out they went bust was when I went onto Unsold website. Really bad that they did not inform their customers that the company had folded. I have sent an email to waylon.white(at)unsold.com and management(at)bookvip.com as someone else suggested. I also tried calling Bookvip.com on (02) 8311 8899(which is on their website). This is an Australian number so it went to voicemail as they are situated in the US and different time zones. Now it's just a waiting game to see who and IF anyone responds.
