I already complained on here and was…

I already complained on here and was blackmailed by eclipse saying take it down or they won’t give me a refund if insucessful after a year which they said the first time I complained and told them about consumer act that they don’t follow as they don’t do what they say they just take your money and send the photos but that is not what they say they are, they talk negatively about portfolio studios however that is what they are, that and fraudulent company. Now I haven’t taken my previous very honest review down they have said “ we are off the books’ but they still have my money, I did even say I’ll pay for photos but I want some money back for the lack of service that they aren’t providing, they accused me of black mailing them, they also blamed me off bring do bad as potently there was a big model deal over £1100 that they were organising however couldn’t send any emails to prove this, and I’d need proof as they are such liars. Really disappointed really sad that a company will use people who want to make a career, seed them up with idea they can, take a lot of money then just not do anything, only time they contacted me was when I called them, then there were lots of false promises. Absolutely disgusting fraudulent company please don’t use. Best stay at home and chuck some cash in the fire .

To clarify, during your visit you were informed of the current industry standards. In today’s modelling market, clients typically require not only professional photographs but also video reels and evidence of training. We explained the available options to support you with this, including professional development services offered by our agency.

Our business model is structured so that we only succeed when our models succeed. We invest significant time, resources, and in many cases substantial financial backing into developing and promoting our talent. In 2025, for example, we supported selected models with opportunities in major fashion capitals including New York, Paris, and Milan, which involved considerable investment on our part.

All services and associated costs are explained clearly before any commitment is made. Participation in additional services is entirely optional and based on an individual’s decision to invest in their modelling career.

We understand that modelling is not the right path for everyone, and it requires both commitment and investment. We wish you the very best in your future endeavours.

Everyone was helpful.

Everyone was helpful.
However, the asked me 100 pound which I was not prepred for. I told them I need some time to think, they said if I dont pay right now, I am not welcome anymore.

It was nice to be greeted so early in…

It was nice to be greeted so early in the new year for 2026 , the reception was a vibrant celebration of 70s music , it was great to meet such a enthusiastic female photographer with a unique friendly relaxing persona . The management were professional and informative about there ability to capture & encourage a career in modelling , helpful to know that your welcome to come along & give a review with no extra charge , but to take into consideration there is an admin cost further any interest with an agency .

I learned the hard way that price doesn’t equal results. Universal gave me both value and a contract something no other studio delivered.

Time wasters

They are scammers that claim to be a agency but instead they take your money and refuse to give you a refund that was promised. It’s been over a month and I am yet to receive my £100 back.

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your concerns:

We are a Model Academy, not an agency. We do not claim to be an agency, and we have never done so. Our academy conducts assessments for Government-regulated fashion model agencies, ensuring models are fully protected.

Our process: We interview and train new models, create their professional photos and video showreels, and provide copies to both the model and the agency. The agency then sends these to clients for potential work opportunities.

Transparency: Our website clearly states that we are not an agency, and this is explained to all models during their assessment.

Consent matters: We respect that no model should be represented if they do not wish to be. Our processes are designed with this principle in mind.

Refund offer: We have repeatedly asked you to contact us so we can process your £100 refund. Unfortunately, you have chosen not to, and instead left a negative review claiming we are a scam.

Closing note: We encourage open communication and remain happy to resolve this matter directly.
