From our own experience buying gifts for football-supporting friends and family — and through speaking to supporters directly — it became clear something was missing. Fans wanted well-designed, durable, sustainable clothing that celebrated football culture in a way that felt authentic, stylish and built to last. That idea became Universal Language.

Great quality apparel and a varied selection. Something for everyone. I’ve got several t shirts which are all of an excellent standard. The embroidery and printing are superb. My favourite is the hoodie - the thickest garment I own! So warm. Quick dispatch and good customer service too.

High quality t-shirt, great embroidery, support local
High quality t-shirt, I bought the McSauce T which is embroidered and both the embroidery and the fabric are high quality.
Ordered and delivered within a day, I do live local to the guys that started it in Edinburgh (Leith) so might be longer if you’re further afield.
I’m not much of a football fan but it was an iconic moment and this was a great T-shirt capturing it. I’m sure more solid football fans will find what this company does even better. I know a lot of family members have bought their stuff as gifts, it’s great to support some local boys from Edinburgh.

Consistently Excellent
Have bought multiple items T-shirts, hats and hoodies and all have been of the highest quality. Specifically the embroidery was done to the highest standard. I had ordered the wrong size of T-shirt initially and UL was very quick to arrange a swap for me.
