They lied to me multiple times over the…

They lied to me multiple times over the phone. I’d ask “Will I get any student loan debt?” They would reply “no, it’s fully funded”. They use slick language like "fully funded" or "government-backed funding" as clickbait. Technically, they hide behind the fact that the government provides the money via Student Finance England, but calling it "fully funded" is an outright lie because they completely gloss over the fact that it is a loan that creates personal debt, not a free grant or scholarship. The organisation needs to be shut down.

As an unconditional offer holder at a leading UK university, you were scheduled for an appointment with our team to discuss your enrolment and available funding and support options. Throughout the process, multiple departments communicated with you transparently and ensured that you understood the options available to students pursuing this degree.

During your university interview, you also confirmed your understanding of how the programme is funded and the various support options available to eligible students. The purpose of the subsequent appointment with our team was to discuss your individual circumstances in greater detail and explore any grants, bursaries, scholarships, or other forms of support that may have been available to you.

As these forms of support are assessed on a case-by-case basis, eligibility varies between individuals. Unfortunately, you disengaged from the process before we were able to fully assess your circumstances and determine what support options may have been available to you.

In an effort to resolve your concerns, we also offered for you to speak directly with a senior manager so that we could better understand the issue you were experiencing and work towards a solution. Regrettably, this offer was declined.

We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to providing students with clear, accurate information and professional guidance throughout their application journey. Should you wish to discuss the matter further, we would be happy to do so.

The organisation's commitment to addressing student concerns and fostering a positive environment is commendable, especially for first-time university students. This level of care significantly contributes to a successful transition and to students' overall satisfaction.
