Between drop of of the Units and pickup they were on time and professional. When I thought I had an issue of maybe having the wrong Unit they were quick and helpful, I just had the wrong key. I stored with them for six months. Not a single item damaged or broken

I had tried the OTHER big name company first... they were great, but weren't able to get the "pod" through my gate... UNITS was my second attempt ... Terry was not only sweet and reassuring, but efficient and confident in explaining the logistics. Victor (Driver) was able to make me priority and even beat me to my house. I got there and the container was already dropped off.. perfect... USE THESE GUYS... excellent customer service..

We can’t say enough about Units Moving and Portable Storage. They were on time, followed through with their promises and very easy to communicate with. We actually used their staff to help us unload our storage unit at our new home. They were beyond helpful, polite, and exceeded our expectations! I would never use another storage company.

They were on time, friendly, and careful as they loaded our storage pod today. Especially grateful for Rayne Hinkle and the work he did to get the pod loaded safely and efficiently onto the transport truck. Highly recommend Units of Utah for their service which helped us older people get part of our move accomplished.

Called the company on Saturday got a pickup on Monday was told driver would be late in the afternoon, Eddie came around lunch time and was in and out. Very kind and professional.

Let me start by saying my journey started in Atlanta,GA to Chesapeake, VA with monthly storage being provided in this city. The Unit was clean and I purchased a lock to secure my belongings. Communication was very good with Atlanta Branch they gave me a good price including the monthly storage. The Chesapeake location provided good communication as well but it seems they are really busy and may only have 1 truck to do pick up and drop offs. I do think each locations are independently owned and operated. But I will say I am so glad that I went with UNITS vs the competitors because, great customer service on both ends. Would definitely use them again.

UNITS was terrific from the first point of contact until our last container was delivered. They had constant communication, were always available when I had a question, returned calls if they needed to check something and get back to me, and their drivers were super friendly and professional. I felt like the price was very reasonable ESPECIALLY considering the customer service I received. I would recommend UNITS over and over again!

The tea. Was exceedingly easy to work with and coordinate with. This was by far the easiest part of my move and everyone was so easy to contact and deal with. Prices were super fair. Containers were nice, staff was great. Not a bad thing to say

Don’t use for long distance moves. From the start it was unorganized and the communication was average at best. Serious miscalculation of what we were moving and the space that was required to move it. Could not ever get an answer from Rachel, every time we had a question it was hours before we heard back from her. Thankfully she was off one day and Gina stepped in and helped us. This is by no means a reflection on the two local Units offices we worked with, they were fantastic! But for a state to state move will never use again.

Great communication and coordination for our Interstate move

I've alway turned to PODS for this type of storage need however, after getting a quote from PODS, I began receiving solicitations from competitors (who knew there were so many!) such as 1-800-Pack-Rat, U-Box, Red Dog, UNITS, to name just a few. I reached out to each with criteria for climate control and lowest price. UNITS was the cheapest, but they also promised climate control that was more than the others who also advertised climate control but when pressed, their climate control was only fans in a warehouse whereas UNITS actually articulated the size and quantity of roof-top AC units in their warehouse! Further, the others seemed to have complex quoting/billing methods, breaking out every component of the rental to a plethora of line items unnecessarily complicating the evaluation process. The UNITS simple stated a single number for the container that was ALL inclusive, plus the monthly rent. But if this wasn't enough to earn the a 5-star review, their outstanding customer care and ops folks (including my own move coordinator) were super accessible, responsive, and eager to help - kudos!

So why then a mediocre rating? I moved from Tampa to Charlotte and so dealt with two warehouses. My total experience, as stated, was top notch… until it came to the Charlotte warehouse. Let me just say that outstanding service is when you go beyond, not just the status quo. This means that when there is a challenge, you dig deep and find a way for the customer. This is what experienced, until it came to Charlotte.

When my UNITS were empty, I called to have them removed from my driveway. I was told that it would be another week before they would come and get them. I explained that this would hinder the piano movers delivering my grand piano that Saturday because the UNITS would block access to the moving van. My coordinator went to work to accommodate my need but came back with word that the Charlotte warehouse was too busy to get to this any sooner. I escalated but it seemed that the more the Ops people worked to accommodate me, that the more the Charlotte people dug-in to simply say know, so here we are that with a mediocre effort, comes a mediocre review, which is a shame because everyone else worked so hard that they should have received 6-stars.

My hope is that this review will result in some much needed coaching that will elevate the performance of the Charlotte warehouse to the rest of the organization.

I still wholeheartedly recommend Units, especially if your move does not include Charlotte.

Units did a great job for me in every aspect. Everyone was outstanding with communication and they exceeded my expectations on delivery showing up earlier than anticipated. I would highly recommend them for any long distance move and I’d also highly recommend their storage as well!

I highly recommend UNITS for long distance moving. The storage units themselves are ample size and well constructed, and the service is spot on. They work with you to make a schedule then they communicate at every step to ensure everything happens as planned and on time.

What made my experience great!!!
Well, it was the ease of setting up and obtaining the unit. Units moving in portable storage was sold outstanding and helpful. I was in a situation where I needed the unit but within 24 hours and they made it happen with speculation I tried to pack the unit as tight as possible, knowing it was going to be running down the highway to its destination when it arrived to my location, I was expecting to open it up and find things maybe not in the same place they were but even a few loose items left on the floor weren’t out of place and to say the least that was the most awesome thing!
So I would have to give units moving storage a 10 for perfection courtesy and friendliness. They’re with you from the moment you say deliver the unit to the moment they’re picking up the unit at the location you had it moved to I hope this kind of customer service stays throughout the life of the company as it is so rare these days in conclusion, I would say they’re just simply the best. I will use them every time I need items moved from state to state.

Had a great experience from the initial call for a quote all the way through to pick up of the emptied unit. Ease of scheduling around our needs was the best part of the move. Truly appreciated all the communication throughout the process. Our belongings arrived safe/sound and in a timely manner. Highly recommend!
