Terrible. Delayed repairs and looked for any reason to deny repair. Two weeks my car has been at the dealership, no rental car and refusal to approve what the dealership says should be covered. Purchased “Total plus coverage” which is one step below their highest price package. Beyond disappointing for over 5k cost for coverage. I will be reporting to BBB and anywhere else I can.
Second time I had to use my warranty and again seamless. United Car Care paid both bills without any questions of me. Dealership spoke directly with United Car Care who authorized the parts and labor and had my truck back on the road same day. Would highly recommend.

I purchased a United Car Care Platinum Warranty for $5,500 to protect my daughter’s 2012 Jeep Wrangler against major mechanical failures. The vehicle is now experiencing engine failure, with carbon buildup clearly a symptom of piston ring breakdown — not the cause.Despite complete maintenance records and ASE‑certified diagnostics, United Car Care has refused coverage, forcing us through endless hoops while searching for a loophole to deny responsibility. This is exactly the type of catastrophic repair the Platinum Warranty was sold to cover.Families should not have to fight this hard to receive the protection they paid for. I am documenting this case for regulators and consumer protection agencies, and I urge United Car Care to honor their contractual obligations.Transparency and accountability matter. Warranty companies should stand by their promises!

I see that there are mixed reviews of this warranty service. I am in the process of purchasing a used car, and this is the warranty they have offered. Now, I am nervous about getting this warranty because I don't want to go through the hassle of fighting for coverage after paying $2,500 for the warranty plan. Could someone please provide me with some reassurance that this warranty is legitimate? I will walk away from the deal altogether and go to another dealership that offers better warranties.
My claim was taken care of in a timely matter with no problems.

I’m extremely disappointed with United Car Care. I purchased their extended warranty expecting peace of mind, but when my vehicle’s gas tank was damaged and needed replacement, they flat-out denied the claim. Their reasoning? “The damage wasn’t covered because it was caused by the failed straps—and those straps aren't included in the warranty Seriously? A damaged fuel tank is a major component, and the repair wasn't due to neglect or wear and tear—it was a legitimate issue.
I called their customer service hoping for some clarity or support but got the runaround instead. The reps were dismissive and unhelpful, and I was left footing a repair bill of over $1,000. What's the point of paying for a warranty if it doesn’t actually cover critical repairs?
If you're considering United Car Care for extended warranty coverage. Read the fine print, because they will absolutely find any loophole to deny your claim when you need them most. I feel misled and ripped off, it’s just not worth the headache for what ends up being zero real coverage. Save your money and avoid the frustration.
I have never had any issues getting my vehicle fixed through United Car Care. While the dealership I go to usually handles the communication with United Car Care they are pretty good about making sure the claims get approved quickly.

I contacted the company regarding a covered car repair (cracked control arm bushings). They told me to take the vehicle to the dealership service center for inspection and repair. The dealership service center informed me they do not communicate with third party warranty companies (including United Car Care) but would provide an estimate with hours and parts cost. United Car Care then refused to authorize the repair unless the dealership service center called them and refused to accept the written estimate. I have spent hours going back and forth between the dealership service center and United Car Care but neither have agreed to contact the other and I do not feel United Car Care feels any responsibility to assist me despite my having purchased the United Car Care extended warranty. I feel buying the United Car Care extended warranty was a mistake and I would strongly discourage anyone from buying an extended warranty from United Care Care.
