A much needed product to be able to remove attachments from emails in Gmail. Great idea and nicely executed!

This is a great service/webapp that provides much needed functionality to Gmail. Does exactly what it claims to and does it well, without any bloat. Great user interface makes it easy to understand what is happening and to guide you through the process of deleting attachments. Great customer service and communication from the owner as well. There are webapps from giant mega corporations with entire design, programming, and customer support teams behind them that don't do things as well as this.

I've being using the batch email download service for over a year and was thoroughly impressed by both the efficiency of the service and its affordability. In a digital age where managing large volumes of emails efficiently can be quite challenging, unattach has provided a seamless solution that significantly streamlined my workflow.

Their platform was user-friendly, allowing for easy navigation and operation without the need for extensive technical know-how. It's rare to find such a valuable tool that doesn't strain the budget.

Great Tool, saves a lot of space.

Does exactly what it says it does. Helps me a lot keeping mailbox under the limit, since Gmail refuses to add a delete attachment option (so they can sell you more storage space.) The free version is a great option if you just need to remove a few from time to time!

Excellent tool to efficiently free up used storage space in Gmail, while keeping all your emails. I especially like the resize & recompress of (unnecessarily large) inline and attached images. Also removing unnecessary attachments from emails but keeping the original email body and all its metadata (dates of processed emails are preserved). All can be processed in batches/bulk - arbitrary number of emails in one go. It can also automatically backup the removed attachments to your local computer, Dropbox or even custom URL (custom API). It runs and processes emails locally inside your browser, so privacy is also preserved. Also it was verified and approved by Google engineers!

It does just what I want: makes a backup copy of very large emails and resizes them in place

Unattach provides a crucial function that is painfully absent from within Gmail itself. It does exactly what I want: extracts attachments, replaces the original email with an indicator that an attachment was removed, and has tons of customization options. Unattach has solved my Google account storage limit issues without having to delete important information. Thank you!

It's a great application, it allows you to free up space in attached files while maintaining (if desired) the name and properties of the removed files.

I have been using Unattach for about 6 months now and it's honestly so gratifying to detach massive attachments from my emails and watch the storage count in my inbox grow. I want to keep the emails so I have a record of the conversation, but I don't need copies of photos of my dog which I sent to my grandma, so this is perfect. I feel so accomplished every time I use it! Like I'm running an errand, but from my sofa.

The interface was easy and it cleaned out my inbox of large attachments fast.

Nothing better than realizing that all those emails that Google says you can keep forever are just full of big old attachments that add nothing and bloat the storage you are allowed

Very useful app, filling a gap in the market. I use it from time to time to archive emails or remove large attachments in bulk. This is great for keeping storage low (and avoiding giving Google more of my money!) It also has very responsive support from the developer, and is actively enhancing its features all the time. Fully recommended.
