No issues at all. I was able to filter emails with attachment by size and date, which made it easy to eliminate attachments of old emails and by doing this, saving several gigabyte as data.

This software is a good one. It is not a money saving tool to save on Google monthly fees. It is a tool to keep inbox in order by deleting all attached crap sent by random people.

This is a good solid application and very well thought out. As far as I know it's the only application that will allow you to keep your Google mail account under the 15 gigabytes limit

Unattach is easy to use and does just what I need it to do. It allows me to retain important emails but remove the burdensome attachments that eat up storage space.

eine feine Sache ist diese App. Man könnte auch mit einem IMAP Programm auf Gmail zugreifen und diverse Dinge erledigen, aber Unattach kann viel mehr. Es kann z.b. in die bearbeitete Mail Einträge hinzufügen wann welches Attachment entfernt wurde, und dass die Images resized wurden. Außerdem kann das Sezen eines Labels aktiviert werden. Einfach Klasse und sauber durchgeführt vom Entwickler! Ich nutze erstmal das Jahresabo weiter. Die heruntergeladenen Dateien sollte man natürlich selbst in einen Sicherungsordner auf dem PC archivieren.

Handy and functional tool. A little unnerving handing it your Gmail password - but obvs it needs it to do it's stuff, and a little background reading reassured me that this was all above board. Did what it said on the tin and let me strip out hundreds of megabytes of vids and photos whilst retaining the email text.

Easy to find large attachments, and lots of options as to what to do with them, including, of course, deleting them.
Just what Google should do, IMHO

Why Google can't offer this, beats me. But this is a very good solution and I am delighted to have found it!

As Google storage filled up, we needed a way to download and archive attachments and then remove them from Google, while saving the emails for reference. This was perfect!

The free plan is a good service, it allows you to unattach 30 emails a month, and it keeps a copy of them in your inbox without the attachment

I first used Unattach several years ago when it first came out because my Gmail account was very overloaded. It was easy then to use, and it's even easier now that it's a web-based app. I only did the most basic processes (download and remove attachment), and once I'd changed my Browser download settings so that I wasn't asked where to save every single download (I found that out the hard way), it was smooth sailing! Whether I'll ever access those downloaded attachments is another matter, but I've got them stored on an external hard drive, and I've freed up over 3GB of storage from my Google account.

This batch process to dramatically reduce gmail size by reducing the size of all attachments and photos works wonders for avoiding Google monthly fees for expanded storage.
