A dishonest company who don't pay their bills. Avoid.

I called and spoke to Emma on 28/01/2026 regarding the death of my 19 Yr old daughter when she was in Derriford hospital. She listened and asked questions for over 20 minutes and reassured me she would call me back the next day. The next day came and went!! I then called again on Monday 02/02/2026 and was told Emma would call me back, she never did!! It's now 05/02/2026 and still nothing!! Absolutely diabolical behaviour from a company towards a grieving mum.

They do not settle there invoices. It’s not that they despite them and in fact promise to settle but this is a lie and they never do

Had an outstanding invoice issued in 2022 that had not been paid. Raised this with the CEO and it has now been settled very quickly. I understand that they had some historical issues with their billing which have now been resolved.

Warning do not use!! They do not pay their experts, never reply to emails, never available when you call. Months of chasing to be paid for work completed 7 months ago. Solicitors should avoid, families should avoid and Experts don’t go anywhere near this cowboy company, they should be shut down, they lie and are dishonest!!!! Wish I had seen the multiple bad reviews before agreeing to work for them.

Appear to be pretty quick on getting on the ball

I see lots of experts comments - dreadful payers that needed chasing but they paid promptly after a Small Claims judgement against them - I advise others to do the same , if you have done the work you deserve to get paid and a small claims submission is easy on line .

HEARING INVESTIGATION: Kept up to date with regular texts on the latest progress of my case. Always polite and ready to answer any questions with genuine answers and no waffle. Highly recommended.

UKExpertMedical do not pay their medical experts. Our invoice is outstanding from August 2024. It is my understanding that they are financially unstable in which case, they should not be continuing to take instructions. Their communication is terrible with medical experts and lawyers alike, yet they are gifted at ignoring you when chasing outstanding invoices. Avoid at all costs!

Almost all 1 star reviews are from medical experts all with the same message: beware of working with this company. Like so many others, I struggled to get UK Expert Medical to pay any of my invoices stretching back almost two years. They never disputed that the money was owing, quite the opposite, they always promised to pay without any further delays. The trouble is, they never did. It is most revealing that UK Expert Medical respond to adverse reviews from clients, but ignore adverse reviews from medical experts. They ignored my warning of legal action and so had to pay interest and costs as well as my fees in my action through the HM Courts & Tribunal Service as they were not in a position to defend my claim. I have been providing reports for over 30 years, but this is the first time I have had to take legal action against a company. My advice would be to avoid working with UK Expert Medical unless you enjoy, and have the time, to chase bad debtors.

Yet another expert here who can't get his invoice paid, despite 6 months of pestering with emails and phone calls. It seems that they must have significant cash flow problems.

I would strongly advise experts to keep well away unless you want to undertake work pro bono.

I am a medical expert. I had a number of outstanding invoices for medicolegal work on 5 cases. Some invoices were 3 years old.
I sent numerous emails and made telephone calls to UK Expert Medical and I am pleased to report that their head of finance and then the CEO made contact with me.
Clearly, the company have had some issues with staffing but they have almost settled my account.

I have worked as an associate for this company and provided 26 hours worth of therapy sessions to their clients, amounting to over 2k. They promised 90-day payment terms and have not paid any of their invoices. I have chased with multiple emails, and there has been no response. I have had to take legal action against this company to reclaim the unpaid invoices and expenses. Be warned if you are a provider you may not get paid, looking at other reviews it seems this is a reoccurring matter.

So far the service I have received has been positive. Friendly, accessible, and helpful.

I prepared a legal report for ukexpertmedical in December 2022. My terms were payment within 3 months. Despite several phone calls and numerous emails I am now taking legal action to recover the fee I am owed for the work done. Numerous promises to pay have been broken. The last attempt to recover my fee was April 2024.

The whole process of going for a hearing test was really good the man doing the assessment was extremely professional

UK Expert Medical took on my case and organised my hearing test which went well and was professionally undertaken. So far in this case everything has been fine. Every step of the process has been expertly communicated to me. The only fault in these communications was in the WhatsApp detail I was given to send identity details, was not confirmed or actioned for several days.
Now I have been passed on to the Solicitors that will be taking my case through to its fruition.

Was booked in for a hearing test with West County Hearing at a convenient time and date. The technician was very helpful and informative. UKExpert Medical organised the appointment and provided excellent feedback.

NOT AT ALL HAPPY - OWED MONEY FOR REPORT -
I am very upset by the way that I have recently been treated by UKEM. This is because, despite sending them reminders, I still have not received the previously agreed payment of £1020 for the 12 page medico-legal liability report which I sent as requested to UKEM a year ago on 13th March 2023. UKEM reference for this is CM - 87558 and the solicitor's reference was PI/572312.001. The Client was Master CM whose date of birth is 23.8.2021.This is not how I expect to be treated by a reputable medical agency. Dr Paul Bracey

I went for a hearing test with UkExpertMedical Ltd, on the 6 March. The guy rang beforehand to confirm that I was going, we went on the train it was easy to find, We arrived a little early and were allowed to sit & wait till my appointment, the clinic was better than I expected, i was treated professionally and he explained all that was happening, the test didn't take too long, i did struggle to hear the beeps but that's why i went, all in all a positive experience with
UKExpertMedicalLtd. I would recommend this company to anyone and my family members.
