Order a replacement battery for my razer laptop, battery was advertised as oem but since it’s arrived comparing it to my original battery the quality is nowhere near the same level, false marketing. If you read other reviews about the website your see it’s a Chinese company pretending to be based in the uk, wish I read reviews beforehand

This company is NOT listed at Companies House. A similar named company was dissolved in 2019! No contact address details. Only after I had ordered and received weird information regarding delivery did I realise this is a Chinese Company. I will not use the laptop adaptor as it maybe a fake and cause a fire or damage my laptop - not worth the risk going straight into the recycling.

Website is a Chinese company website spoofing a uk company but not abiding by UK laws even though it claims to under its T's&C's... there is no geographical contact details or UK telephone number, contact names are fictitious and products are barely useable but not OEM spec. They do not honour UK distance buying regulations regarding returns. The website is a fraudulent scam. Delivery times are of course way longer than specified on the site and nothing you can do about that. If you must buy from this company use paypal so in case of returns dispute over terms you can always claim they conned you into ordering by pretending to be a UK company by using "uk" twice in their domain name and abusing .co.uk tld by being a foreign organisation.

Ordered a replacement battery for my Acer Swift 5, believing this was a UK-based retailer — the site is a .co.uk domain, priced in GBP, entirely in English, with no company address or overseas trading information disclosed anywhere on the site or my order confirmation. The battery variant I received didn't match what I needed, so I contacted them to arrange a return. Only then was I told the return address is in China. Every UK courier I contacted (Royal Mail, DHL, Evri) refused to ship a battery to China on safety grounds, and the one service that would attempt it quoted over £100 — nearly three times what I paid for the item. I'm now stuck with a battery I can't use, can't affordably return, and no refund. If I'd known upfront that this was based overseas with such a restrictive return process, I would never have ordered. Be aware before you buy.

Don't buy anything on there, they are not from UK, it will take more than one week to receive your item, and not the same one on the picture, the most important point is you will NEVER have chance to refund as they not intend to do,

Wish I had read these reviews before ordering, not a UK company at all total Scam Chinese company.

Ordered a battery, it didn't arrive, they provided photographic pod of the package not at my property then refused to refund saying delivery was in order.

What everyone else has said, not in the uk, took awhile to arrive and not an “Original Dell Battery” which it states before ordering.

Ordered a battery for a Dell 5550 laptop and immediately realised I'd ordered from a possible Chinese scam site, with no way to get my £45.99 back.

BUT:

The battery arrived in two weeks, decently packed and as described.

Is it genuine DELL? Very hard to say. The transfer on the battery body very nearly matches that on the original (different colour, and there is a DELL logo on the replacement that was not on the original and which has been covered by a black sticker).

Does it fit? Yes it does. Not straightforward as there are lots of tiny screws and bits of sticky tape to remove and replace, but that would be the case if I'd bought from DELL (for £85).

Does it work? Yes it does. Dell Optimizer says "battery type" = enhanced, "Dell battery" = yes. "Manufacturer" = SMP (who are a genuine Dell supplier). "Battery health = excellent". Arrived with 44% charge and now happily charging inside my PC on its dock.

Will it last ... who knows. But at the price it's worth a punt.

I think this company probably has had an unfairly bad rap. Partly by pretending to be a UK company when they are in Shenzhen .. which is why I took a star off them.

Genuine company. Customer service was good. Delivery took a little longer than expected, think Delivery was listed as 7 to 10 days and it was delivered in 12. However customer service team were responsive. Product arrived securely packaged with easy to read instructions.

Fraudulent Chinese business operating under the premise of a UK company selling third party batteries advertised as genuine DELL products. No refund offered apart from the option to return the battery to China at my expense.

It's a fraud, this is not UK website and store !!! No option to return the product according to them , it's illegal!!!!

If you bought anything from them and want to return their goods they will refuse to refund.

This is Chinese shop so do not get misled by the website. Despite delivery was predicted on 5/5. I have just received email announcing this might be another 15 days. Not impressed and this also makes me doubt safety of the product

Update for the product:
Very poor customer service. Due to delay I had to buy another product from a different company. I requested instructions for refund to send the product back but no response in that matter. I brought up the case with PayPal to try to resolve the issue.

beware , bought a charger from this website thinking it was a uk firm , nope chinese.
got the charger and after 10 months of use it caught fire and nearly burnt the house down .

I am re-writing my review of ukbatteriespc.co.uk based on my recent experience of ordering a charger and battery for my laptop. I ordered the incorrect items - although the website didn't offer me options; it turned out I needed to add a lot more detail of the laptop model to get the right parts.

Their customer services, whilst with a small hiccup to start with involving automated responses to my requests for help, have been extremely helpful and understanding. They accepted responsibility for my ordering the incorrect items and provided a full refund. They took a lot of time in checking my laptop details and confirming the correct items that I needed and have been very polite in our dealings.

Whilst you do need to realise that this is a company in China so shipping will take a couple of weeks odd, the items I received were brand new and in perfect condition. I have happily re-rdered the correct items from them today and am pleased to endorse the company as genuine and not supplying old/damaged goods, as other reviews have suggested. If there were issues in the past then I believe that they have now been addressed and their service has been first class.

This is a chinese based business using a misleading website address that customers presume it is based in the UK. Their batteries are faked and they claim it is original product.
You will have to wait a month to get a faulty or corroded product if at all. Next you can't return the faulty product and you can't get a refund! Please avoid and buy from eBay or Amazon at least you can have a guaranteed return and refund.
