Arrived damaged reported it asked for a refund 5 weeks later…… nothing. Exceptionally poor customer service, don’t care, put obstacles in your way to resolve issue. Cannot speak to a human being!

We had a problem before we used it where the battery charger was not working. I had a email conversation backwards and forwards with YardForce support but eventually the whole mower was replaced by Amazon when my daughter took charge, and the old one is still sitting in our hall waiting for Everi to collect.

Nicky the Customer Services Assistant Manager was excellent in dealing with my warranty claim and sorting out the problems, but in all other respects the customer service from Sumec UK was completely woeful. Almost impossible to make initial contact about the problem by phone, email and web chat. Hopeless systems that say the fault is fixed when it is not. Then shipping experience was worst ever with the wrong mower sent back. The actual repair was handled quickly and effectively but the rest of the experience completely turned me off this company. Awful.

Had robot mower repaired under warranty last year. To be fair that was fairly efficient. When it came back the wifi connection wouldn’t work. Had ongoing emails with their customer support but then they stopped responding. As I needed to use it after the winter I’ve tried calling (but they refuse to take incoming calls which is a red flag) and their recorded message says to use their web chat. Tried that and they don’t even answer after half an hour I gave up.
Had a problem with a lawnmower battery . Got excellent response from Nicky in Customers service department . Emails answered immediately and replacement part ordered and despatch cofirmed

Pourtant au bout de 2 ans, une panne.
Nous contactons donc l'assistance via leur plateforme, la machine étant encore sous garantie.
Nous créons un premier ticket qui disparait... nous créons donc un 2éme ticket qui vient de disparaitre... alors que j'ai des copies d'écran et des mails de confirmation de mes demandes.
Nous sommes furieux
Que la machine tombe en panne cela arrive mais la malhonneteté de ce fournisseur est la cerise sur la gâteau

Bought the 37 cm lawmower during lockdown - nice to use but grass box kept falling off. Eventually sent box back and they widened the bracket width to what it should have been when I got it. Fine. Then bought the larger 46cm but self-propulsion failed numerous times, sent it back twice (huge hassle as no box provided), and now left with no bracket to fix the handle to so can't use it. Customer service sluggish throughout and has to be chased all the time. I have given up. Changed lawnmower to Worx. Other Yardforce products I have are fine though, so it's just been the lawnmowers I've struggled with. Wish they had more responsive customer service.
UPDATE
Today I received a replacement part, but unfortunately it was the wrong part... not the U-shaped bar I need, which is missing, but another set of handles (which I already have).

Bought a cordless battery operated lawn mower, have done the first cut of the year and I’m well pleased with the performance of the mower and battery. Let’s hope I have a long and reliable experience with my mower. First impressions are looking good.

Bought a Yard Force Chordless Lawnmower from Amazon in 2023 which was great at first but it started cutting out straight away whenever I used it. I gave it another go last week (March) on a rare dry day to try and get a cut in before the spring but the problem persisted.
I contacted support and they arranged to have it picked up and assessed for repair. It turns out the battery is faulty and they've replaced it and sent the lawnmower back. Customer service has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish.

I purchased a yardforce petrol self propelled mower from Argos two years ago, had a fault on it recently but yardforce sent everything to check, and also a link to book a return if couldn't fix it, customer services was brilliant , luckily got the mower sorted and it's up and running again , giving the fact the company gives a 2 year guarantee plus an extended 1 year on top of that for this mower is value for money. Very happy with their service.

My father bought a lawnmower from Yard Force and it would not start. Sadly, he passed away shortly afterwards but Yard Force's customer services were appalling and made it extremely difficult to claim a refund or replacement. A year later, I have managed to diagnose that the fault was with the original factory setup, which meant that the spark plug would not spark. This is basic quality control and inexcusable as is the dimwitted approach of their customer service. I will never buy anything from this company again.

So the battery on my lawnmower failed. It is a few years old, so I can forgive that. The 5 stars is for the customer service, refreshingly they genuinely seemed to care. The response was fast, polite and thorough.
Alex took all my details and I was disappointed to find that new batteries were out of stock. However next day I was contacted by Nicky (CS Manager), who had looked into my problem, found a solution and had an alternate battery added to the website on the same day.
Just very nice to receive such a prompt, efficient response (and get my mower working again - it's a decent mower, lower price bracket but effective). Thank you!

I'm not the person to waste time writing reviews but I think this warrants it as I emailed the customer services to source a part for the gr40 electric chainsaw,they was very quick,helpful and understanding.
The part I needed was not something they do separately and they are not easy to find(oil pump T88) THEY ARE SENDING A NEW UNIT OUT INSTEAD,new parts all around can't be bad. Definitely a 5* after service so buy with confidence knowing your looked after! Thanks
