GetScanned is a booking platform for private medical scans in the UK. We arrange MRI, Full-Body MRI, CT, ultrasound and X-ray scans at over 200 CQC-registered scanning centres, with appointments usually available within a few days. Private scans need a referral, and most people don't have one. That's the part we handle. Every booking includes a GP consultation, where a doctor reviews your symptoms, confirms which scan is right for you, and issues the referral the scanning centre needs. If you already have a referral from your own GP or a consultant, you can use that instead. Our team coordinates the rest. We confirm your appointment with the centre, explain how to prepare and what to bring, and stay contactable throughout. Your images are read and reported by a consultant radiologist, and your report is typically returned within 3 working days. If you'd like to talk your results through with a doctor afterwards, we can arrange a follow-up GP consultation. One price covers your consultation, referral, scan and report, with nothing added afterwards. Prices vary by scan type, body part and location, and are shown before you book alongside appointment availability. If you find the same scan cheaper at the same clinic, advertised publicly, we'll match the lower price. Scans available through our network cover areas including the head and brain, spine, knees, shoulders, hips, abdomen and pelvis. We work with individual patients, clinicians, medical reporting organisations and rehabilitation providers - anyone who needs diagnostic imaging arranged quickly and without a wait. Thankyou for your support , I am borderline claustrophobic and an MRi scan can be daunting but the way I was aprroached and handled by the two people who carried out my scan made the difference , they were professional and welcoming , calm and clear with their instructions , showed me all the due care and attention , I breezed through with no agitation , great work , thanks again .

Excellent service, great communication and updates through WhatsApp, they tried their upmost best to accommodate to my needs, scan was done promptly and results delivered to me all in under 4 days. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a scan and some peace of mind without having to wait on long waiting lists!!

I would highly recommend "GetScanned" to anyone looking for a private MRI scan.
I recently had an MRI scan on my right knee and the process from the very beginning was really straight forward. I initially had to do a bit of searching to find something that met all my requirements, i.e. price, timescale & location, but found something quite quickly. I got an appointment in less than seven days, which I was happy with. The price was extremely favourable so I was very happy with that. I had to travel a bit further than what I'd ideally have liked but it was worth it for the price and timescale.
The actual scan was excellent. Even though I arrived around 30 minutes early for my appointment, I was seen straight away and was actually finished by my initial appointment time.
I received the report (both written and digital images) in under 24 hours which was brilliant service.
Communication from GetScanned was excellent throughout and I'd like to particularly compliment Nisha.

It was easy and fast
It was easy and fast. It would be cheaper to go to a walk in clinic for a scan, but they have doctors that help you before and after the scan. They were even willing to get me a report to help with my international insurance.

I had a scan on 27th April
I had a scan on 27th April - they got me in really quickly and the radiologists were really professional. The after care was also fantastic, I was offered a GP consultation and she went through the results with me and plan treatments options through my own GP. Highly recommend! Very friendly and easy service and I felt very reasonably priced

Amazing service from start to finish
Amazing service from start to finish. Customer care was excellent, and communication was spot on throughout. Booking was quick and easy, and I was able to get my MRI scan done very promptly. I even received my results sooner than expected — highly impressed!
Will most definitely use this service again if needed.

A great experience with GetScanned!
I had a great experience with GetScanned. I made my initial booking for an MRI scan on 2nd April and from then on things moved quickly, especially considering it was Easter weekend. I had my scan on 8th April and received my results a week later. They also arranged a telephone follow up with a GP to run through the report. Throughout the whole thing I felt very supported and they kept in contact by email to update me and answer any questions. A special mention to Richa who was exceptional with her support. I would highly recommend GetScanned.

Lessons require learning - and since have been
Sadly, error after error, despite paying a hefty fee for private service. Poor comms and poor management of expectations. It would have been one star, however, they were trying to get it right - and did sort out another discussion with doctor after they had unfortunately fouled up with providing him with scan and report docs for the first call.
Also - one person tried to take ownership, but support to them was disappointing / non-existent.

Upgraded to 4 stars after calls to me to make good the mistakes made. Head of Ops was very good in wanting to understand the process failures as welll as to refund and over-charge and compensate for the inconvenience.
