Nightmare to setup.
Has been working well but one of my 2 dropped off. Tried to get it online and failed (only 1 hour wasted so I guess thats good). Then deleted it (using PC) but the wrong one was deleted then tried to add one. NIGHTMARE. Think I have lost the will to live with this garbage.
I still can't get over Ubibot's level of customer service. The automated response indicates a response within 8 hours--I over a dozen exchanges over three days and I think all were answered within an hour or two at most . Vicki, the customer representative must never sleep. She answered emails at 11 am and at 3 am.
Moreover, she went above and beyond to assist. There were tasks that I could have done but she offered to do them to expedite the process. I still can't get over it. I have never seen a company with this level of customer service.
I purchased their Smartplug SP1 remotely controlled socket. It is advertised as working with 4G GSM and WiFi. The website shop included a "free" SIM card.
The first shock was that you had to buy non-refundable credits to activate the SIM card. However despite buying those credits ($50) we've not been able to get the device working with 4G GSM.
It works fine with WiFi, but that's not the point. We wanted something that could remotely power up/down the WiFi router; for that we needed GSM.
We contacted their customer services, whose only real suggestion was to try a data-SIM from a local company. There were no guarantees that this approach would work for this product. No refund.
The potential is there, but the system is full of bugs.
DON'T USE IT IF YOU WANT A RELIABLE SYTEM!
ALSO KNOW THAT THE DEVICES DO NOT WORK WHEN THE CLOUD SERVERS ARE UNAVAILABLE.
The system was used for keeping my medicine cool, but suddenly it dropped the temperature way too low. Luckily I caught it in time, and I was able to quickly pull the plug. I don't dare to use it again.
The system is packed with options (which I liked), but it is also absolutely packed with bugs. I may have never seen a product with so many bugs.
If you insist of using it, I recommend having at least a backup sensor (other vendor) for alerts.
Rubbish products. Have 2 temp sensors that go offline all the time. Unreliable, unresolvable ( have not been able to find answers to this problem) why would I even consider spending more time or money on this. I will go elsewhere for reliability. Don't waste your money folks on products that probably only work within a narrow set of parameters.

Our sensors were shipped from Hong Kong and we received excellent set-up support from our personal agent.
