Twine is an absolute waste of money; they advertise on LinkedIn and give the option for easy apply, but the link moves you to the twine.net page and in order to apply for anything - you must pay over £80. The worst part is - most jobs I saw there were scams. I applied for so many, but whatever I received answers from were simply trying to fish your data.

Just to clarify, free users are able to apply for 1 job per month at no cost, and LinkedIn users are also shown a discount code eligible for our monthly plans, which start at $18.99.
Regarding the suspicious listings, we take this really seriously. Please do reach out to us at support@twine.net with any jobs you believe to be scams and we'll get them removed right away.
We'd also strongly advise keeping all communication on Twine to help protect your data. Nobody should be asking for your personal details outside of the platform.

Dubious Signing Up Practices
Email received today, I never signed up for it and there is nothing on the blank profile to identify myself so already getting red flags. Either employees are scamming the company by just adding X amount of people onto their website by getting email addresses from places like LinkedIn so they get commission, or their business model actively supports this sort of shady practice whereby ther are adding people's email addresses into their system and creating a blank profile. Not sure which, but either way I don't appreciate it.

We recently fixed an issue where some users who had previously signed up (in some cases quite a while ago) weren’t receiving emails they had opted into, and a small number have only just started receiving updates again. That may be what’s happened here.
We definitely don’t create accounts or add people without their consent.

You can also use the filters there to narrow down exactly what you're looking for.

This platform definitely does not have freelancers in mind.
The profile is absurdly difficult to edit (good luck changing something if you made a mistake), forced paywall, riddled with AI jobs.
Employers, if you want good, dedicated freelancers, look elsewhere. Pro-tier is a rip-off.
